“Great down home cooking on the menu, daily specials, great real friendly waitstaff always decorated for whatever Holiday is up next. Irish Benedict eggs, fresh blueberry pancakes the size of your dinner plate..Teal Greek omelette. Now open later on Sundays too and you can order breakfast all day!“
“This is a VERY tiny diner and it's worth the wait for seating...Food is delicious, service is friendly and fantastic. Groovy train car diner that's a real throw back.Good food with large portionsYou will not regret waiting for seating“
“Old school diner at its BEST! Huge portions which arrive quickly, waitresses who continually refill cups & glasses, and a comfortable vibe meet customers. The staff HAUL. They are in constant motion (in a very small space) and we heard not one cross word. Thanks for a yummy breakfast!“
“Stopped here to kill some time while waiting on a Grainger order. Treated myself to a proper breakfast. The diner is adorable and the people are very sweet. The food is exactly what you expect from a great diner. If I ever need to travel to the nearby Grainger again, I'll be stopping by for another visit.“
“When I travel back to Rhode Island I have to get NY System Hot Wieners and J&T's is my favorite spot. It's not just the food, the service is top notch, I always feel welcome and it is what RI is to me. Great breakfast and lunch in a family owned diner.“
“JESSE'S IS A DEFINITE MUST TRY !! ALL THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT!! AND OWNER AND HIS DAUGHTER'S ARE EXCELLENT PEOPLE !! THIS MAN OPERATES HIS PLACE WITH VERY OLD SCHOOL TRADITION VALUES EVERYTHING IS MADE FROM FRESH !! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED !“
“Delicious Food & Good Vibes!!Went there with my wife and kids for breakfast today and what a treat it was. The food was hot, fresh and flavorful like a home cooked meal. Everything was a 10/10 We will be back for sure!Parking: No need to worry about parkingKid-friendliness: My kids loved it, My son ordered an order of French toast and my daughter and order of chocolate chip pancakes and they could not stop raving about how good it was.“
“Been coming here my whole and it always hits the spot! Staff is always kind and whips up the food in a jiffy. Can’t go wrong with a few “all the way” and an order of fries. If you’re not a Rhode Islander and you’re visiting or just passing through, definitely stop and have a hot wiener.“
“I’m a sucker for diners, I love the atmosphere of them. Not only are you able to get the old school diner feel (which is what I desire), but if you travel to the back bar you can experience a more modern approach. The staff is exceptional and realistic; they provide excellent service while being true to how busy they get. I could go and wait at any other restaurant close by and get on their 45min-1hour wait on a Sunday, but consciously choose to wait out for West Side Diner instead. It’s not just about the food, it’s everything that encompasses a diner found in this hidden gem of Providence.“
“First place my dad took me when I came back home and honestly so happy he did! The food was so fresh and the staff was super friendly. You can taste the care and time they took to prepare the food. They have both American and Guatemalan breakfast and lunch options depending on what you are feeling. It was great way to welcome me back home!“
“delicious food, amazing service. very tiny on the inside and outside but huge flavors. never had real coffee milk before and it was so freakin good. very attentive staff, if it’s a full house then you’re probably going to be waiting 15 minutes for a table. definitely got stared at by other diners but that’s just me i think. the nook special omelette (for two) was MASSIVE with everything in it and definitely worth it.“
“my friend and I went out for 4 AM late dinner and this Denny’s was excellent service great food and clean atmosphere was so impressed. I even left the waitress a $50 tip and my friend left a $20 tip. Recommend this location as it’s the best in Rhode Island, in comparison to the others in reference to cleanliness, management, and quality of food, keep up the great work thank you“
“Still great place to stop with my grandkids instead of fast food while training 2 and 4yo for restaurant dining experience. Clean location and restrooms Service was attentive to kids, crayons to color, kid menu, waitress was kind, and even the chef stopped at table to check on us. Very friendly at our NK location visit after fun day at Wilson park. Highly Recommend change it up from fast food. Give the experience to little ones.Kid-friendliness: Good selection kids menu. Ordered Mac n cheese with fruit and burger, and they split each dish.Wheelchair accessibility: User friendly even rest room.“
“Think of all the omelets you have been served. When was the last time you took a bite and said, "Wow. Amazing flavor!"? Even the plain grilled spinach side was a revelation. I don't know when I have ever gotten so much marvelous flavor out of a diner lunch. Completely reset my expectations. And the service was fast, friendly, efficient, projecting the vibe of actually caring about you. Absolutely the place to go back to when looking for the diner experience.“
“Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the home fries are outstanding. Very fair prices and we've been back a few times already. They close around 1-1:30 but still offer a lunch and dinner menu that we'd like to try sometime as well. Very small, street parking only but worth it for takeout.“
