Excellent food and service. I eat here every time I'm in Charleston. Be prepared to wait. I was told there was a 45 to 1 hour wait for a table. I elected to eat at the bar. I had the seafood boil and sweet tea. Be prepared for a lot of food. The boil is big enough for 2. I couldn't eat it all. It had mussels, shrimp, crawfish, potatoes, corn, sausage. It's very spicy but delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Free hush puppies are given out while you wait. They are delicious....read full review
Amazing is all I can say. Best hush puppies that myself and my wife have both ever had. I had the Deep South platter and my wife had the Matzo ball soup. The owner came around and checked on us and even came back and explained to us why the soup was in a plastic container and not a bowl. I've been wanting to come to this place for many years and was not disappointed. We will definitely be back.

I was in town for work and went to Hymans for dinner on a Wednesday night at the recommendation of a local. Food was fantastic. Complimentary hush puppies. We got crab soup, salmon croquettes, and fried shrimp tacos, and they were all delicious. Clifton h's service was SUPERB and even though it was busy, he kept us entertained and fed. Great experience, and will absolutely return on my next trip into town.
