Went on a Wednesday night when they were having one of their annual wine walks. Four stations with a red and a white wine as well as a cheese board and finger sandwiches at each station. The grounds were beautiful, not a lot of colorful flowers, but lots of greenery. The ponds had alligators and turtles, made for a magical night. Highly recommend.
A really beautifully landscaped park where you can discover many different plants and animals. There are alligators, turtles, lizards and also farm animals. We did the House Museum Tour which was really interesting. We come from Germany and didn't know, for example, that rice could also be grown in the USA. The history of the slaves also touched us very much. If you are in the area, you should definitely check out this beautiful place.

Middleton Place is really special. First the staff are very helpful. And they are easy to find. Everything is well organized & with the map, it's not hard to get around. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. There are plenty of beaches to set and enjoy the views. It's nice the restaurant is on the grounds. Having a place to set, cool off and relax helps so much.
