“Fried Green Tomatoes and Pan Fried Chicken Livers were amazing ? local catch parmesan crusted Flounder over shrimp was excellent! Be ready to eat if you order the buttermilk fried chicken, lots on a plate and delicious. Fantastic service too!“
“First time dining at Anson Restaurant and we absolutely loved everything about this place. Lovely atmosphere, great service and amazing food. Peter was our waiter, he was so personable and made great recommendations. Lobster Buccatini and She Crab Soup 10/10. We will be returning here!!“
“Very good restaurant, great if visiting with a young childWent to Husk with wife and 2 year old. Got a nice table on the porch first floor, which was great given the weather.Excellent waiter, very knowledgeable. Food was very good, we really enjoyed it. We did not drink too much much so we ended up with $200 for two. This is a way to visit an higher class restaurant if coming with family, this is an almost cosy place with great food which doesn't take it too serious. We'll come back.“
“The burger and fries were DIVINE!! There was an outdoor patio by the bar. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and excited to talk about the building and city’s history- it was so nice to talk with them!! I didn’t catch their names but thank you to both of you for all the additional information and conversation!“
“Excellent food and atmosphere. My favorite in all of Charleston. The fried chicken by itself is fantastic, and if you get it as a sandwhich it’s still fantastic. The char grilled oysters are fantastic, coming from someone who normally does not like oysters. The scalloped potatoes are fantastic as well. The grilled fish sandwhich was excellent.“
“After a day of wrangling kids at the aircraft carrier and the aquarium, I took my Sister here to relax and decompress. Our waitress, Lyla, absolutely made our experience. She was passionate about the menu and made sure our sister time was complimented by the perfect food and drinks. It was lovely to kick back for a bit here and enjoy the excellent food. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Charleston! The mango sorbet was the perfect finish to our day and was to die for!“
“Greens were a little salty. Broccoli salad was so good. The trout was crazy good. This was my first time going and it won't be my last. I loved the cornbread, too. This was a real southern experience. Perfect for Charleston. I want to try the bread pudding.Parking: There was plenty of available space but we arrived a little late. The lot is a little tight. Of the restaurant had been full it would be packed.“
“First of all, WOW!We sat at the raw bar, served by Matt, Logan, and Colton. All three were helpful and knowledgeable about the menu from top to bottom. The cocktail sauce was the best I’ve ever had which is saying something! I had the Salmon, with garlic mashed potatoes and low country grits. Pro tip; squeeze a little lemon on top of the grits. Service, quality and atmosphere were incredible. If you like an alcoholic beverage, try the Bloody Mary or the Charleston Sunset. The Charleston Sunset isn’t overly sweet, but has a great flavor. I’m a sucker for a Bloody Mary, and like some spice that doesn’t overpower.I’m very impressed, and that doesn’t happen often. We wil definitely be returning from Charlotte for the experience again!Parking: There is a paid lot to the left. It’s $5 if your eating at Fleet Landing.“
“Absolutely delicious food. We started with the s'mores and carrot cake and were not disappointed. So rich and delicious. We moved on to the fried sweet potato skins, topped with an arugula salad blend. So well balanced and fresh. The main course was the tomato pie. Honestly the best meal I've ever had in Charleston! Highly recommend!“
“We had learned a lot of positive feedback on 82 Queen, especially considering it's long history in Charleston. That may be a reason why we were ultimately disappointed by the experience. To start the restaurant is large subdivided into a number of rooms and buildings in line with their growth. We (unfortunately, I would say, were sat in the back upper room that was bland, lacking any connection to the restaurants history; looking more like the dining room at a Hampton Inn than a premium restaurant. That would be tolerable but the food that followed was lackluster as well. We started with a very non-traditional Caesar Salad (see picture...it was good but quite small), the Roasted Portabella Mushroom (also ok but there was a lot more quinoa than mushroom) and the BBQ Shrimp & Grits (decent but the grits came out hardened on the top (as if it was siting under a heat lamp for too long and the BBQ sauce was more from a jar than homemade). Our dessert of Bread Pudding was good but not outstanding. The service however was very pleasant and our server took good care of us and was frequently checking to make sure we got our food, etc... it is just too bad that we were so disappointed by the result. Enjoy!“
“BEST restaurant I have ever been to and this is not an overstatement! The service was very professional and I felt like I was attending a classy dinner 138 years ago with my partner. World class chef who is very creative with his menu. The food is on the pricy end but the caliber of the food and service trumps it! The staff puts a lot of effort into what they do- I love their passion. Highly recommend!“
“I came there to listen to some jazz music with a decent meal. I ended up listening to an outstanding jazz trio. The food there was the biggest surprise. I am genuinely surprised that this restaurant does not have a Michelin star. I can especially recommend their flounder and a fragrant potato soup. Deserts were amazing as well, including mango candy made in-house.“
“I’ve eaten a lot of grits in my life and these are hands down the best I have ever had. Seriously. I don’t know what kind of witchcraft y’all have going on in that kitchen, but it’s incredible. They were creamy, salty, peppery, and cheesy. And my eggs, yall. How do you make eggs taste that good?! Thank you for making my day Little Line Kitchen. I’ll be back as soon as I can!“
“Very nice. Not quite as good as some of the other Poogans, but still a good place for dinner. The food was just a tad lacking, and with all the amazing choices on town, it’s hard to say this one is a must visit.Shrimp and grits was decent, but there are better ones in town. Nice staff, good atmosphere, just a tad pricey for the quality.“
“Need reservations , this is an upscale restaurant and to enjoy the experience always nice to dress well but casual is fine here as well. The tables are well spaced out and the bar and tables are well spaced out They have a number of great waiters to help decision making as there are many interesting signature dishes The drinks and desert menu was good as well We had the steak verde and the cauliflower as the appetizer and the gnocchi, potato crusted grouper and peel Milanese as our main course Great service !“
“Dillan was an amazing waiter. He recommended the halibut entree and the Elvis dessert. We also ordered shrimp and grits and a side of squash. Everything was beyond our expectations. Honestly the best meal this trip. We’re staying at the Vendue as well. Honestly, the hotel (Allyson- curator) and the restaurant, AND the service ,AND the people , do not disappoint. And, and, and ,and, and….. go there an experience the Vendue!!!!“

“This unassuming local favorite has a homey country diner atmosphere, delivered in a meat and three format (an entree plus two sides and a rice dish).I can unequivocally recommend their crab balls - they were delicious! On Saturdays they have a fried seafood platter that is full stop amazing, you get a ton of great food (crab balls, scallops, fish, oysters, shrimp) that is relatively inexpensive!“
“Conner was the best server! Took such great care of our shell fish allergy. Went above and beyond. Made our experience exceptional. Food was great! Fried Green tomatoes with pimento cheese, beignets, steak and eggs, corn, beef, hash, and eggs. Yum.“
“The scallops were cooked to perfection! The shrimp and grits was amazing! And our server was correct, the coconut cake was delicious! It was our first visit, but will not be our last! I can't wait to come again! Thank you for such a great date night!“
“My wife and I had a great experience here. We brought a couple of fish from a charter that we went on and they prepared them perfectly. It was truly some of the best fish we’ve ever had.The young man who was working as the host (on Tuesday 4/9) was very attentive, seated us right away and took our fish to the kitchen. Our waitress was also great. The food came out quickly and everything was very fresh. Great operation they have at this location. Keep up the good work!“
“Great place to grab a quick meal & a beer! The views are beautiful, the people that work there are great, and the new manager since I was last there is excellent. She has the place running super efficiently, big props to her! The only drawback to here is that parking and getting in and out of the parking lot can be difficult, especially during rush hour times. That being said, if you want a nice place to grab a bite that has a good atmosphere and views, you can't beat Ellis Creek Fish Camp.“
“NEED SOME GITTY-UP?!Ms Roses specifically cocktails are an option. For brunch, highly recommend their Espresso Martini. Presentation is nice with moca colored froth & espesso beans on top. Nice balance of sweet, creamy, and bitterness of coffee underneath. Pleasant antidote for any carp fog you may experience after your delicious brunch meal.“
“We hosted a rehearsal dinner and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Chris David & Jona were so attentive. The food was beyond amazing. We couldn’t be happier with how the night turned out. It was absolutely magical. Thank you Chris David & Jona for taking such great care of us and our family. And thank you Abby for helping us organize this wonderful night ???“
“My roommates and I got our nails done around the corner and when we were walking by, we decided to head in… Although they closed 15 minutes prior to us coming in, they were more than happy to serve us! They gave us a free box of donuts to try each flavor… I will definitely be back! everyone was so nice and welcoming. We are so excited to try it again!!! Everything was amazing and fresh ?“
“We came here for brunch. The host was very sweet and had great attitude. Communicated very efficiently! We sat on the patio which is very cute. We loved the atmosphere of it all. Our server was Kate and she was very attentive and detailed. She helped explain the menu in its entirety to help narrow down what we wanted. She checked in regularly. Also, the manager, Evan, made sure to check on us as well to make sure we were doing good. He was nice and wanted to make sure we were taken care of! Overall great food, great service. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Very kind to our toddler and made sure his food came out quickly!“
“Went on a Wednesday night when they were having one of their annual wine walks. Four stations with a red and a white wine as well as a cheese board and finger sandwiches at each station. The grounds were beautiful, not a lot of colorful flowers, but lots of greenery. The ponds had alligators and turtles, made for a magical night. Highly recommend.“
“The manager Dan Buceti made my visit a most memorable one. His genuine friendliness and his hands on approach with his staff was a delight to experience. He needs to be recognized for his managerial skills as well as his person demeanor. Superb hospitality and outstanding food is why i will return. Not to mention the cleanliness of the entire establishment!“
“This place deserves every bit of the hype it has received. Amazing biscuits! Highly recommend the pimento cheese, there are quite a few sweet and savory options. Quite busy on weekends so be prepared to wait in line, but the line moves fairly quickly. There really isn't any place to eat in store.“
“I had family in town and thought this might be fun. I have seen the views of charleston many times. The weather was hot but the AC on the boat was working great. The food was very good and the service was great as well.My family had a very enjoyable evening and the dinner cruise is worth the price.Except for the service fee they charge for each ticket.“
“Zero complaints. We read all the reviews and took the advice: she crab soup, shrimp and grits: AMAZING! Bubbles on King for pre-dinner cocktail. You will be in heaven. Maitre d' and staff are super friendly. Fast service on a Friday night. What else could you want? Wow.“
“The best experience in a long time. The food was delicious, fast and large portions. Everyone of the staff was so accommodating and friendly, but kudos to Kasita. She made our Easter Sunday brunch amazing with her sincere compassion for her guest.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, it was our first visit and we will certainly go back when we are in the area. Thank you so much.“
“Just moved to Charleston and this is my favorite new place!!! The food is absolutely amazing!!! Mac and Cheese bites…can’t get enough!! Everything on the menu is delicious! The staff is the best I’ve seen in a long time!! From the bar staff (Shannon and Steph noted) to the wait staff (Drew and Cassidy noted) make you feel right at home! And a big thanks to Rob! He runs a great restaurant and team here in West Ashley!!“

“Worth the wait!Everything we had here was delicious. My husband ordered a Cinnamon Roll that was covered with cream cheese icing that was over an inch high high. It was delicious. I ordered the Banana Bread. This was no ordinary banana bread...it was a slice of Banana Bread topped with hazelnut spread and decorated with bananas. It looked like a masterpiece and tasted even better. We followed our pastry appetizers with the Fritatta which was covered in field greens and the Smash Burger with home fries. Both were moist, delicious and cooked to perfection. We washed down our breakfast with the most delicious Bloody Mary that was excellently spiced. The entire staff was great, beginning with the hostesses. Our waitress/bartender(Noelle) was friendly, professional, and really knew the menu.We can't wait to return!Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the first floor, and it is wheelchair accessible.“
