“One of my top 5 restaurants in Charleston. Quality and taste is EPIC and getting to chat with Kazu and Chris just makes the experience so much more intimate. Such a fantastic value for the quality and quantity of food - my main recommendation is to keep a running list of the dishes served because at the end of the meal, you get to order more of whatever you liked a la carte. If you ever get the chance for a hard to get reservation here, TAKE IT!!!!“

“My wife and I went to this restaurant for our date night and man were we blown away with how incredible the food was!! I mean every single thing was delicious with flavors that stand out amongst other restaurants! The service was A1! There was a parking fee for the parking outside however it was validated after we purchased food from the restaurant using the code on the receipt which made it free. I have to give a special thanks to one of the chefs named Ant! He initially told us that the Sushi Corn Dog was sold out, however when he saw how sad my wife looked when she mentioned that we were really looking forward to trying to it for our first visit, he then said he would make an exception. He mentioned that since this was our first time he would go back in the kitchen and fix us up one. For those reading this I understood that “sold out” just meant they sold the amount that was intended to sell that day” Now I understood that he could have easily left to go home because he was finished for the day but he stayed just to make sure we were taken care of! I couldn’t thank him enough for that!! Another cook named Jason was extremely kind and courtesies to us the entire time we were there! The food being incredible is one thing but to have such amazing service is a big one that will make us return again and again! Below is everything that we ordered! “I ate the Pitoon(Braised Duck). It is cooked in yellow curry with vegetables served over white rice. The spice level was mild. The food was delicious and the service was good. This restaurant is very popular. We didn't have to wait for a seat but there was a line as we left during lunch time on Sunday.“

“Really good sushi deals and to me the sushi is good, otherwise food is up to your individual taste. Prices are not bad. Their white sauce is watery mayonnaise. Someone must like it but noone I know likes it. Rice is ok, but I don't care for it. Food isn't bad at all, I guess I just compare it to yokoso and I love their rice and stuff. Smaller dine in area, can be hot inside, but i get hot easily so not sure. People are always nice.“

“Bushido has a level of food quality that is consistently and regularly, without fail, always always and forever SO GOOD. Anything I have ever gotten has been delicious, from the first bite to the final licking of my chopsticks just in case I missed anything. Thank you for being so great! I admit I am a bit addicted and get Bushido at least once a week, but why wouldn’t I? Sushi, hibachi, crab Rangoon, you name it, and it will be delicious on a level that you can only comprehend when you try yourself. DO IT!“

“The food was decent but order was wrong. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, a seaweed salad & chicken fried rice for carry out. Instead of a seaweed salad I got a bowl with iceberg lettuce topped with avocado (house salad maybe?). Instead of the chicken fried rice I received a teriyaki chicken bowl. It all tasted good except I was disappointed in the Angry Dragon Roll I received - it has mango in it but the mango in the roll was so under ripe you couldn’t even tell what it was & it was very hard. I ordered this on a Wednesday night and it was dead inside when I picked it up. If I give them another chance I’ll definitely be checking the order before walking out with it.“
