The staff is extremely friendly. Nice little bar area in the lobby. Rooms were big (I stayed in a King Suite) and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Walking distance to downtown and the stadium, so I didn't have to drive around to find parking to eat...just walked downtown from the Abernathy. Was a little loud until about 10:30 pm because it's across the street from the intramural fields, but that was also part of the awesomeness. The Staff is amazing and extremely helpful to visitors! Can’t say enough great things about our Clemson experience involving the hotel and staff. Would highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Excellent location for visiting Clemson University, campus is so close you can just walk. Quiet location. Staff immediately gave us a campus map when we arrived. They have a bar, happy hour and a basic breakfast available to purchase. The rooms are large, kitchenette, typical hotel wall AC/Heater. It was quiet but we were there on a week day during spring semester. Towels need to be tossed, they smelled clean until you got them wet and then they were SOUR, so gross.
