“We dropped in with about twenty people after a wrestling tournament on Saturday February the first and the employees and manager were awesome. Very accommodating and patient and helpful. The pizzas we ordered were delicious. One of our little wrestlers caused a spill and the manager was right out and helped clean up. I will definitely be back when we come back here”

“Found a cute little El Salvador restaurant in Clemson. It's called Pupuseria La Estrella Clemson. The entire staff are absolutely Amazing 😍, loved the wait staff(Daniela), the food and the atmosphere 😀. I'm definitely going back again. Daniela, Thanks for the fabulous tremisu cake, it was delicious 😋. On a scale of 1(worst) to 10(best), they are an 11(mind blowing delicious) !!! Definitely a favorite place to eat at !!”

“Service was amazing! Staff were so sweet :) I had an oat milk matcha latte and a double chocolate cookie. The double chocolate cookie was soo yummy! The matcha not so much :( Matcha wasn’t mixed in very well and the particles tasted salty. The matcha powder tasted like it was low quality. It also didn’t help that they don’t offer soy milk :((

“I already thought that Handel’s make some of the best ice cream I’ve tasted, but today Handel’s lived up to its family friendly, good customer reputation in a big way. A young counter person made a minor understandable order taking error. When she fixed her mistake, she did it pleasantly and with a smile before refusing the additional payment that was due. In fact, she declined my offer of payment several times.
I live at a bit of a distance, but I am going to be a loyal, repeat customer.”

“If you are considering mini-cupcakes for your next event, DO IT! We had Pound Cake Man’s cake and cupcakes for our wedding and it was great! We had five flavors of mini-cupcakes so our guests could try multiple flavors, and they made a special pound cake for us to cut. We were unable to have the food truck at the venue due to it being a Clemson home game weekend, but Pound Cake Man was incredibly easy to work with for both ordering and coordinating pick-up. We received such great feedback on all the flavors, and everyone seemed to enjoy how unique it was to have pound cake at our wedding. Highly recommend Pound Cake Man! (Event Date 10.22.22)”

“Had lunch today with my wife. The sandwiches were Excellent My wife had the Reedy Rueben and she said that her sandwich was the best that she ever had. I had the Italian sandwich and it was delicious and the best that I have ever had!! The staff was very polite and courteous. We will definitely be back!!”

“We started off with a loaf of buttery white bread which was excellent and a glass of water. After that we got a greek pizza appetizer which was amazing. The freshness of the vegetables combined with the taste of the crust was incredible. Our entrees were unmatched! My son's pasta was amazing, it was creamy and had good flavor and the chicken it came with was perfectly cooked and juicy and flavorful and all in all amazing. Even the vegetables which are usually bad when they come with pasta or any other meal were amazing. The broccoli, squash, and carrots were perfectly steamed with a little lemony flavor combined with a great seasoning. My steak with mushrooms and mashed potatoes has got to be the best food I've had in a while. The steak was perfectly seasoned and juicy, it had this sweet and smoky sauce that was unmatched. The mashed potatoes were buttery and perfectly put together. The mushrooms were amazing as well! A young man greeted us and was very attentive and always checked up on us. It is a more pricy restaurant but it is worth every penny. The atmosphere is very elegant and warm. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone, it's a shame that we were only here on vacation and live so far from an amazing restaurant.”

“Have passed this restaurant for the last four years and finally decided to come in and try it out.

You can dine inside or there is a small patio outside which was full of patrons when I arrived. Love the interior decor, especially the chairs that are brightly colored and well decorated.

Upon seating I was given chips and two sauces. I preferred the lighter sauce over the darker sauce. For dinner I started with the guacamole dip. Thought it could use a bit more flavor, but overall not bad. My main dish was the steak fajitas. Came out sizzling and they were excellent. Finished off my meal with a fried ice cream since no flan was on the menu. Overall, the food was pretty good.

Service was excellent, even though I was sitting next to a large table of 13 patrons. Renata was still attentive and made sure I was served well.

Overall, I will return. Decent food, love the atmosphere and great service. Enjoy!”

“The food was amazing from their sushi to their fried rice. They have so many varieties of rolls you can get for all the picky eaters out there. The portions were good, especially for the price you're paying. Customer service could be better. Honestly, I felt a little rushed by our waitress, and our food took forever because they accidentally put it in a to-go box for someone else. The guy at the front did check in on us, though, with some polite commentary. The food is a little pricey but completely worth it. The atmosphere was 5 star, however, with it being the perfect mix of upbeat and peaceful. This would be a great place to have a date night with the gorgeous decor and indoor trees with lights.”

“This is a place where you only come because the food is decent, not great, just decent. It seems they have the interior, of the restaurant, so you don't want to sit down to eat. When you walk in, you're greeted with stares from the customers and a, "Hi, can I help you? Did you place an order?" From the little lady from the counter. You can see how hard they work to deliver, fresh, meals to their customers. They do stride for the best outcome in each aspect of their services. I do recommend this quaint little Asian restaurant.”

“I wo t judge this one place on corporate set prices. But if I did they would be a negative number. Not even 0. But people pay it, so here we are. As far as specifically this place. I like them. They are nice and clean enough. Food is good. Also no idea why but they DO NOT HAVE MUSHROOMS AT THIS LOCATION EVER. They never have. 5 stars if the manager fixes that. It would outweigh the slight other issues. Again, if price based review, it would be a negative 50. But that is set by corporate as far as I know. So 4 stars is for things specific to this one. I love the oreo milk shake!”

“They only had one rosemary parm left and we ordered two on DoorDash . They gave us a cookie and a sweet note saying they only had one rosemary loaf left, so the cookie was free. They even said sorry! As someone who works in food, I GET IT, and that was such a sweet note to receive. I hope you have a cold pillow every night and every light is green when you come to it.”

“This is our go to place to stay when visiting Clemson. The staff is always friendly and willing to help accommodate every situation. Pets are treated just as welcome, they understand they are part of the family too. The rooms are sized perfectly to stretch out but still small enough to be cozy.”

“Visited Monday December 9th. Food was hot and correct, service was super nice today. The bigger gentleman that made my food and took my order around 2:30 was super nice. The Christmas decorations were very nice! There are not a lot of employees though. Looked like 3. That's not enough to run a restaurant properly. Do better about staffing, come on now”

“It was a nice evening. Perfect weather, so we sat outside. Immediately, a nice guy came out and took our drink order, and then a sweet lady came with a basket of chips and really good mild salsa. After asking her for a couple more minutes, she took our order. A couple more couples were seated as well as two families of four.

Food was being brought out to the other couples, then the families. Dessert brought to one person, then that family left. Another server stopped and asked if we had gotten our food or needed anything. The hubby said no food yet, but please, another cola. We confirmed what we ordered and he said it would be right out. Minutes later we rec'd our food.
The Mexican Street Tacos we ordered with the steak (not ground beef) and flour (not corn) tortillas. They were seasoned perfectly and topped with diced white onions and fresh cilantro. Lime wedges were on the plate and you had a choice of beans or rice. Their refried beans were creamy and slightly seasoned. We also had a side of their corn salad. Love Mexican corn salad, a simple dish of kernel corn drizzled with mayonnaise, parmesan, and a dash of most likely, Tajín seasoning.

Not sure where the hiccup was with service, but the meal was definitely tasty and worth the wait. BTW, we never once inquired about the whereabouts of our food. It was the server bringing out food at the other tables.”
