“So this is a lunch place. Not fancy, pressed out metal chairs. Floor looked dirty. The ordering was a little cluggie. A goodle 15 minute wait foe the food. The tenders are very big, and the spices and batter on the chick is tasty BUT the fries fries were coated with the same spice, so the flavors ran together. Not sure about a return visit when Slim Chicken is down the road. Sorry.“
“This is the second place I've eaten shawarma in the city and this is by far the best I've eaten. I watched them cook it up and his they got all that food into that wrap is a mystery to me. But every bite was flavorful and delicious. I ordered the beef shawarma combo. It was overflowing with fries. Washed it down with ginger beer. Definitely plan to come back once the holiday traffic dies down. My only caveat is that it's kinda difficult to find. It's in the Halal market but signage forthe restaurant itself could be better. Other than that, this place has my vote.“
“I have been going to this restaurant for over 5 years and is the only option when I am craving Indian cuisine! I am from up North and have to say it has been very hard to find GOOD authentic food that is not traditionally southern, since I moved here. However, this place does not/will not disappoint. The flavor, spices and care that goes into making this food is commendable. I know good food and consider myself a "foodie" and anyone who says the food is bland, must not have taste buds! Luv this place and was so happy they brought back the buffet on Sat evenings! The Chef, who is the owner, comes to your table and asks how everything was and I can always say, "delicious", that shows that he actually cares about his customers experience and is not just about the money as a few other posters claimed!“
“Service was very attentive and welcoming. Once in the restaurant was very cozy, and quiet. We went on a Saturday afternoon, not crowded at all. There seems to be additional seating on a back porch area. We ordered the bbq chicken pizza and the lamb. The pizza was full of flavor. The lamb was absolutely delicious“
