When ordering at the drive-thru, sometimes it's difficult to hear if the associate speaks too fast and cuts off the speaker before they finish their comment or question. “What a great find! Was taking a friend to the airport and we looked for a place to eat Sofrito popped up on Yelp! It looked interesting. What a great choice we made. They have a tequila list with all kinds of choices and various dishes from all over Latin America. There were so many choices that I'll have to go back again and again. Had the whole snapper. Next time it'll be the paella! Apparently it's family-owned and I prefer that to chain restaurants. Good service, good prices, good portions = overall excellent!“

The Sweaty Pig sandwich was delicious and very filling. The chicken nachos had tons of toppings and were very flavorful. We also tried the briscuit/Mac n cheese egg roll and the sweet potato crunch. Again, delicious. April, our server, and Brock, the manager, were friendly and fun to talk to. From the time we walked in the door, we felt very welcome. “The first time I went to speedball was during lunch, rush-hour with the girlfriend, and the food was divine. The owner was so kind to walk me through each item including the spicy chicken I added to my build your own speed bowl and gave me reassurance that the ball would be as delicious as advertised. It was! Of course I had to come back during lunch to get the food to go just to see if it was a one time but fresh lunch. Everything was fresh to order, including my dumplings that were perfectly cooked packed with so much flavor. I even loved the presentation as this was a to go order and it felt like there was so much attention to detail. This time I tried the pork, which was absolutely perfectly moist and seasoned to a tea to pair with my other toppings in my bowl. “My mother and I made a purchase on marketplace that took us on an unexpected road trip of sorts. We were lost and decided to adventure until we found somewhere to eat and ran up on the clock. It was crowded so we thought this place must be good. We went in and met our waitress (Pamela) and asked her recommendations. She said the turkey and dressing was wonderful so we both ordered it. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Only the 2nd place that I liked it from. Everything was so good. The waitress was friendly and patient with all of our questions and requests. I didn’t catch the other servers name. The pimento cheese dip was some of the best I’ve had. Lola was just super sweet and welcoming. The lady when I walked in was de-pricking the cactus leaves. Then I got a taste of the homemade chicharone. Then my wife and I bought a quesadilla a sope and a huriatcha. Everything was delicious. Not dried out. We then bought some pastry's which was a let down to me. Overall the food was a 4.6, and the customer service which the guy who was helping us order food then translated for me the entire time. That's what bumps this up to a 5. I'd come back.“

“Let me tell you this place is GREAT! We were greeted at the door with a very warm welcome and awesome customer service experience for first time customers! We didn't know what to expect. The cashier explained all the opinions and food very well. I ordered the Squaking Goat - it was simply amazing! The chicken was so delicious and the fried goat cheese on top was superb! It was all coverred in a delicious pepper jelly that was just a perfect tie in for everything! My wife got the Retro palte with eggs, bacon and smashbrowns. I tried the smashbrowns and must say they were very very good! When we go back i will ge an order of them myself. The drinks were self serve and the sitting was good, not many people were there when we were there. It is a little pricy but i will say it was worth every penny. I can't say that about a lot of breakfast/biscuit focused restaunts. We will be back and cannot wait!“

But the service was perfect and spot-on (i was a walk-in take out order with questions and some specifications). My server was helpful he got tipped well for a takeout order. “Bubba Annie's is a really good restaurant/bar. The food leans a little more to the fried foods but that's good every now and then. I must say, the fried mushrooms are my favorite followed by tater tots, fried okra and onion Rings which are all very tasty! The burgers, greyhound and bird dog sandwiches are my favorites. The beer is cold and the wait staff is super friendly. All in all, you can't go wrong here for a casual dining experience.“

One of my friends said it was Greek-style pizza, pretty dense, and loaded with cheese. Good, stable crust to hold all that cheese, but not much crust on the edges. We also shared a few other dishes like chicken parm, garlic bread, salad, fettuccini carbonara, gyro platter, and pastitsio. It was all pretty good and satisfying. “I came down to see my sister 3 days after Christmas. The day that I was leaving to go back home, I wanted to find a place to eat breakfast. I used Google maps and it showed that this place was nearby. I went there and had a Texas farmhouse omelet with home fries. They added cheddar cheese onions and peppers to it for about 3 more dollars. The food and coffee was fantastic. I must say though what impress me the most was the service. My server was Katie. This is the kind of person that every restaurant wants to interact with customers. She greeted me when I walked in the door, sat me at a table and waited on me. She was very pleasant and smiled. “One of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful. We started with an appetizer of the thick cut bacon which was to die for. Followed up by the New York Strip which was cooked to perfection, and possibly the most flavorful steak I’d ever eaten. We usually do not get desert, but everything so far was so delicious that we could not pass it up. We tried the white chocolate banana cream pie and the butter cake, and an espresso martini. OMG is all I can think to say. Stefan was our waiter, and he was amazing with his detailed descriptions and recommendations. “I can’t say enough good things about Southern Palate Catering. We used their services for our wedding in April 2022. Most of the compliments we received from the wedding were about the food! We worked with Denise, the chef and owner of Southern Palate. She always got back to me promptly and was always willing to meet with me face to face anytime I needed during the planning process. My husband and I always dreamed of having Mexican food at our wedding. Denise already had an option on the catering menu for Mexican stations and it was just what we were looking for! They homemake everything, even the tortilla chips (which were amazing), and were able to accommodate my gluten allergy with anything I wanted. Denise made sure all of her employees knew I was gluten free and they served me and my husband the whole night so that we didn’t have to worry about taking the time to get our own food. They even packed us a to go box full of every food item at the wedding so that we were able to eat at our hotel after. They took all the stress off of us on our special day and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend using them for any event and I will definitely be using them for any catering needs in the future.“

I ordered the roast beef open sandwich with gray and mashed potatoes as my side. The beef was somewhat fatty, so I left it, but the portion was plentiful.
