“Our family loves Select. The food and service have never disappointed. In fact, the food and service are always impeccable. Lilly is a gem and fun to have as your server. My one - and only negative, is the noise level is so great that dining with a group of more than four it is impossible to be part of a conversation. But still - in our opinion - Select is the best“

“The first time I went to speedball was during lunch, rush-hour with the girlfriend, and the food was divine. The owner was so kind to walk me through each item including the spicy chicken I added to my build your own speed bowl and gave me reassurance that the ball would be as delicious as advertised. It was! Of course I had to come back during lunch to get the food to go just to see if it was a one time but fresh lunch. Everything was fresh to order, including my dumplings that were perfectly cooked packed with so much flavor. I even loved the presentation as this was a to go order and it felt like there was so much attention to detail. This time I tried the pork, which was absolutely perfectly moist and seasoned to a tea to pair with my other toppings in my bowl. If you're looking for fresh simple food, and a sensory trip, be sure to stop by Speed Bowl. Simpsonville needs to be the next location!“
“Despite attending Southern Growl Brewery during a private event, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the warm reception we received from the owner, Matt. Although the brewery had a private event indoors, Matt took the time to ensure we felt welcomed and even offered us a beer while we enjoyed the atmosphere outside. His attentiveness and hospitality truly made our visit memorable. Southern Growl Brewery is not just about great place to get a beer; it's about the exceptional customer experience provided by passionate owners like Matt. Highly recommended for both the brews and the service!“

“My mother and I made a purchase on marketplace that took us on an unexpected road trip of sorts. We were lost and decided to adventure until we found somewhere to eat and ran up on the clock. It was crowded so we thought this place must be good. We went in and met our waitress (Pamela) and asked her recommendations. She said the turkey and dressing was wonderful so we both ordered it. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Only the 2nd place that I liked it from. Everything was so good. The waitress was friendly and patient with all of our questions and requests. I even ordered a plate to go. We are over 30 miles away from home but we will most definitely be back.“

“This place is incredibly good. Their quesadillas are epic and so are their nachos. Their smoked brisket quesadilla with bbq sauce and jalapeños is absolutely delicious. The brisket meat is so Smokey and tasty. They make their own garlicky ranch and it is epic. You have to eat here“
“Lunch was busy, but the line moved quickly. Food was tasty, authentic, down home cooking. Only criticism was for the ONE employee that rolled her eyes when the question she asked wasn't answered "correctly" and had to repeat herself. (It's pretty loud in there, and if you are a 1st time visitor, unfamiliar with the process, AND hard of hearing, you can struggle). All of the other employees were phenomenal!“

“I know I show all 5s accept for overall. It's just a bit more expensive than other places. But the service was perfect and spot-on (i was a walk-in take out order with questions and some specifications). My server was helpful he got tipped well for a takeout order. Food was exactly as requested and GREAT!!“

“Bubba Annie's is a really good restaurant/bar. The food leans a little more to the fried foods but that's good every now and then. I must say, the fried mushrooms are my favorite followed by tater tots, fried okra and onion Rings which are all very tasty! The burgers, greyhound and bird dog sandwiches are my favorites. The beer is cold and the wait staff is super friendly. All in all, you can't go wrong here for a casual dining experience.“

“The rolls were very tasty and super fresh. If I had it to do over I wouldn't get the red dragon and Godzilla together since they are so similar in flavor and texture. It wasn't super busy when I arrived, I was seated quickly and within 10-15 minutes I was eating my rolls. Atmosphere was nice, nothing fancy but had a good vibe. I would definitely come back.“
“I can’t say enough good things about Southern Palate Catering. We used their services for our wedding in April 2022. Most of the compliments we received from the wedding were about the food! We worked with Denise, the chef and owner of Southern Palate. She always got back to me promptly and was always willing to meet with me face to face anytime I needed during the planning process. My husband and I always dreamed of having Mexican food at our wedding. Denise already had an option on the catering menu for Mexican stations and it was just what we were looking for! They homemake everything, even the tortilla chips (which were amazing), and were able to accommodate my gluten allergy with anything I wanted. Denise made sure all of her employees knew I was gluten free and they served me and my husband the whole night so that we didn’t have to worry about taking the time to get our own food. They even packed us a to go box full of every food item at the wedding so that we were able to eat at our hotel after. They took all the stress off of us on our special day and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend using them for any event and I will definitely be using them for any catering needs in the future.“

“I've been looking for a diner type of place for a good breakfast and stopped in for the first time in a Friday morning.Ordered the breakfast bowl and a side of hash browns and coffee. The food was good and the service was fantastic. This is a place where everyone knows each other. Customers were chatting with each other from table to table and the staff would stop and chat at the tables. Saw an employee open the door for a young family coming inGood people here. If anything, go for the experience. You're going to feel like home.“

“We got the Golden fried Flounder to go. The portions were very large. Food was ready when we arrived and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. The price was affordable and the food was good for two meals. Side note: if you are getting food to go make sure to ask for silverware and condiments.“

“We came in for brunch. I had the grilled chicken with mushroom and my hi husband had the chicken enchilada verde. Both plates were excellent. The guacamole served with my husband’s dish was creamy and delicious as the topping. Service was excellent quick and we were greeted warmly when we walked in. Definitely recommended!“

“Stopped in for a quick lunch. Got the fresh rolls with sweet chili sauce and a thai iced tea. $11.50. The rolls were definitely fresh and packed full of veggies and a piece of chicken. Next time I would get two sauces so I had enough. Fast service. Will be back!“

“We had a great time at Andino's. I had the Ecuadorian fried rice and it was delicious. My husband had the Linguini with white clam sauce which he said was excellent (he is very fussy about this particular dish so this was high praise). Can't waitto go back!“

“What a lovely find for breakfast! Searched Google for ‘good breakfast near me’ and it told me to get my behind here. This is a true country diner, serving real Southern foods. It is breakfast until 11 and then meat n’ three for midday meal. The eggs are country fresh, the pancakes are light and crispy, the country ham is to die for, and the fried pork chop was a home run. The prices are as enjoyable as the food they serve. I think I may have found a new favorite spot.“
“Late dinner, not too much before they closed for the night. Chicken fingers and fries with a beer. Tasty food and a comfortable setting while I was waiting to board. Friendly staff. Airport prices, but knew it would be like that walking in. No other options either, but wasn't a bad experience.“

“This is the BEST restuarant EVER to eat at. I havent ate here in a very long time ago, around 2001vqas the last time that I ate here, and i dont live in South Carolina anymore, i live in North Carolina and soon I will be planning to take a trip to South Carolina with my parents just to eat at Pete's. Thank you for staying in business but I always knew that you guys would stay open, even when I was a little girl, I knew that I would never forget this place and no matter what happened to me I would make sure when I did come back to South Carolina for visits i would always stop into at Pete's for the famous French fries and the jumbo chili cheeseburger with the onion ring.“

“I wish I took photos because the interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated with large scale vintage fighter planes from WW1 and WW2. Regardless of the decorations, the food is amazing! We split the philly cheese and meat lovers pizzas and both were awesome. Nice crispy crust and great balance of toppings to give great flavor! We also got a meatball sub and tater tots to share. The meatball sub was a little on the spicy side and one of the best I've had in my life!!! The tots were perfectly crunchy and didn't have greasy aftertones that you find with many tots. If you haven't been to Flying Aces I highly recommend you give it a try...“

“We decided to try, and the food was damn good. I ordered nachos and have never had grilled shrimp on nachos, slices of pork and beef, enough for two people. No problems with staff, just very home like and casual. The atmosphere of a California vib, only visiting Cali of course, but definitely different than the typical southern restaurant.“

“The people at the front were very polite and friendly, and the food was really really good! I loved the pasta specifically but I honestly can say this is probably the best pizza place in upstate SC, probably the best place in all of SC.Dietary restrictions: They have several gluten free options for pizzas as well as a few other choices“
“Had the best time here. Nice pub, nice selection of beers/IPAs, nice crowd there too! Owner is a nice gentleman; Lady behind the bar (forget her name, but gives off Elisabeth Shue vibes) was nice also, and chatty. Really enjoyed myself. Would love to go back again! RECOMMEND.“

“Went for lunch. Had the smothered cube steak in mind when heading there, but that has been discontinued. Figured I'd get that stuffed fish, again discontinued. Settled for the lunch prime rib with the cheese mashed potatoes and it did not disappoint. The waitress was a little old lady and was as pleasant as could be... As well as a great waitress.“

“We were considering taking some friends to the Dam Restaurant and decided we should go there ourselves first to see how it was. We were familiar with the establishment previously there--Lakeview Steak House. I actually helped build that place when I was a teenager. Anyway, we went, and both my wife and I decided to order seafood. I had fish and chips; my wife had shrimp. Both of us found the french fries to be quite sub par. They were soggy. Taste not bad but not pleasant to eat because of texture. It made things worse that they had piled these soggy potatoes on top of my fish, beginning to ruin its crispy exterior. I removed them before the damage was fully done. The fish itself was good, as were my wife's shrimp. We both liked the slaw. The tea was good. The main minus was the fries. Our waitress was very helpful and personable. However, some of the surrounding clientele were, let us say, somewhat coarse.Bottom line for us was that we are unlikely to take friends there. Going to look for a step up in overall quality.“

“It is my understanding that they may be getting rid of the punch rewards card that allows customers to get a free meal after seven purchases. That may be a mistake as far as we are concerned. My wife and eat there more frequently because of the rewards card. If it is taken away, even though we love the food and the great service, we may not eat there as frequently. Thought you would want to know. We are frequent customers at Eggs Up in both the Moore and Greer restaurants.“

“We had a great experience of a very intimate restaurant! The staff was very knowledgeable of the northern Italian menu. They were also very knowledgeable and accommodating of wines and mocktails. Great desert as well! I recommend reservations on weekends. We look forward to returning!Vegetarian options: There were options and even accommodations for vegetarian.“
