“Consistently great food that is seasoned and cooked to perfection! We have been twice for brunch in the past three weeks and have enjoyed everything we’ve ordered, food and cocktails alike. I especially recommend the daily omelette, easily the best prepared omelette in town! The environment is warm and inviting without being stuffy. We look forward to going back.“

“Lovely place, farm to table menu was excellent. We dined outside for a birthday celebration. The restaurant provided a cute birthday sign and brought the birthday girl a complimentary dessert, which was very nice. While the outdoor patio was very nice, I think they could be a little more thoughtful about how the seating is arranged. We were at a table of four and two of us had access to the view. Adjusting the table would have made it so we could all get some of the view.“

“I have to start out by saying this place brings you back to your southern roots from the moment you walk in the door. Such a cool spot with local artists painting on the wall and some really old and neat decor. I have had their breakfast here several times and their Driver omelette is amazing. Today we went for lunch and heard that they are famous for their tomato pie. After trying it, I can definitely see why!!! It is a quiche baked into a flakey pie crust (like chicken pot pie) with sliced oven roasted homegrown tomatoes seasoned to perfection. This is the best thing I have ordered from here by far. I had Mac and cheese which was ok but their collared greens and sweet potato casserole were great! The servers are great with fast southern style service that makes you feel like you are part of the family. If you are wanting a great breakfast or lunch with amazing food and people, The Hungry Drover is the place to be! Make sure before you leave, you buy a homemade cinnamon roll that is so sweet and fresh and the size of a dinner plate. Highly recommend“

“Had the most amazing experience at this restaurant my first time in Travelers Rest! A great tex-mex menu with the most attentive and sweet staff. My server, Patricia, was so kind and always made sure our table had exactly what we needed. A great place to hang with friends, would definitely come back!“

“This brewery/taproom presents the finest beer and ales around. Its friendly and has nice ‘sphere. Dog friendly too. Live music, trivia nights and food trucks await the curious visitor. In summer, regulars bring their produce to give away or trade for other’s plants. I give SRB a Five.“

“I'm definitely dropping 5 stars for North West Grill In Travelers Rest South Carolina! From the time I walked in I knew this was going to be a good run for me. I love the old fashioned places & I always know with places like this the food is going to be good! Mr John hands down you got the best burger ? in the Upstate! This small place is a BIG GEM ?! I had my mouth set on a juicy delicious burger & you provided everything I expected! On the way I was checking out the burgers posted on maps and it stole me instantly! I ordered the smoked Gouda Pimento cheese Bacon cheeseburger and my lord ? yes you gotta cut them burgers in half! It was delicious! I recommend 10/10! The fries were delicious and they don't need any seasoning to me, they are old fashioned cut home fries and they are delicious! I put vinegar on my fries and it took my back to the fair days I have had in Shelby NC with the vinegar fries. You nailed those fries! I also ordered Onion rings and they were delicious as well. My friend got the country fried steak and gravy mash potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese, and the slaw is perfect. It's creamy mayonnaise based and vinegar and I love it! We also got a hunk of chocolate cake which I was stuffed and could only take a couple bites of but it was delicious. I want the hummingbird cake when I come back it was sold out but I just know it's good! I also ordered 2 hotdogs to go and I ate them later that night. They were slamming! Thank you Amber for making those and providing good service to us! I met some good people over the weekend here and I'll definitely be back to see you! “Service is good every time I come here. Ambiance is decent as well and the restaurant is clean every time. Sushi here though is at best okay...very thin slices of fish and small portioning but it tastes fresh! Unfortunately the Nigiri Sushi entree is way below par (don't let you choose your pieces) and don't state on it that's it's chef choice which is pretty upsetting for a sushi enjoyer! Would still highly recommend this Restaurant.“

“The restaurant sits directly off the highway not as I thought (tucked in a side road, more country). Having said that, we were there for breakfast 1) the place was spotless, clean! 2) food was good, right out of Grandma's kitchen 3) service was prompt and friendly.“

“This is my GO-TO for Eggplant Parmigiana. The meal comes with salad garlic bread and spaghetti and is so big I always share it with my son for a great dinner to enjoy when work has been busy. We usually do Drive-Thru and the girl at the window is always delightful. When we dine-in, the service is stellar as well. Everyone who works there has a friendly smile and it makes you want to come back again and again.“

“Sherry took care of us on a gorgeous April afternoon while we listened to live music. We got a spicy bloody Mary and it was phenomenal! The Aloha Pizza was really great too. It had pulled pork (soooo tender and juicy) and bbq sauce on a wood-fired pizza dough. Will definitely be stopping in again!“

“My wife and I just moved to this area from Landrum but Spartanburg part. We have ordered from Nate’s, and the food has been great. Pizza was good, cheese bread was delicious, but we tried the hot subs….and wow! I have gotten the Meatball sub 3-4 times already. My wife has tried multiple subs and has loved them all. Great bread, thin, and crunchy. The meatballs are great, melted cheese, sauce, and a great seasoning to top it off! This place knocks it out every time!“

“I have not been to this Pizza Inn for at least 15 years. Our server, Brandon, was excellent. I had forgotten that you could request any kind of pizza for the buffet, Brandon asked if we had any requests. I asked for something strange, not an everyday pizza. He suggested Cheeseburger or Taco, we requested both and both were great! We will definitely dine here more often!!!“

“Okay, I NEVER write reviews. Just too lazy to. But this time, I had to.Monkey Wrench did a fantastic job with the food. I've never had a Fried Chicken Sandwich the way they made it. Tops CFA in every way. There BBQ sauces rock, and everything was great.However, the service is what blew me away. I went to my car for my laptop and came back after my lunch to work on some stuff, and the manager gave me refills on water and asked me if I needed anything. Honestly really blown away by the little acts of kindness. Great food, great service, great people.“

“we ate today for the first time. the food was amazing!. my husband had the all you can eat special of spaghetti. he said it was wonderful. i had the turkey and dressin mac and cheese and sweet potato crunch and shared a side of fries okra with the husband. it was GREAT! my mom had beef tips ans was supposes to be rice (she hates rice) they subed mash potatoes they were great also. we will definantly be back. i recommend this place“
