Im not sure why the rating here isn’t higher. We are locals and eat here frequently and this restaurant is one of only a few places that have been extremely consistent with food quality. Not only that but their recipes and cooking ability is superior to any of the typical Mexican places. I’m assuming people want a particular atmosphere or perhaps there have been issues as admittedly they seem to run on a small staff. This is the old Taqueria Jennifer that was purchased by new owners. I've only been here once but plan on coming back again. Their menu has a nice selection of of all the traditional classic Mexican food selections and I particularly love that they have soups if you ask for them. I was on the fence between Menudo and Caldo de Res. I ended up getting the Caldo de Res. Absolutely, delicious. The flavors were bold and the beef was incredibly tender.
