“Stop by here during the trip to Charleston. The food was pretty good for the price but a bit greasy on all dishes. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was better great spot to catch a sporting event or game with great beer and good customer service.“
“We seem to end up ordering Antonio's every weekend. ?The pizza / 2L soda combo can't be beat. For $20 it's the perfect amount for our Family of 5 . 2 adults & 3 kids.I can barely feed them a home cooked meal from the grocery for that price so it's a win win for us.Price and quality are top notch and we appreciate the simplicity of just 2 toppings. But I know if they had some more options, they would be phenomenal too ?“
“Stepping into Neon Tiger is like stepping into a dream world. The vibe is so wonderous! It's almost like stepping into a relaxing vegan tron-like world. If I am having a bad day, all I have to do is go to Neon Tiger and it is instantly all better! The food is amazing! I have enjoyed all of the staples and the specials and I have tried every item I could. I absolutely love that I don't have to ask for no straw in my drink! I love all the decor! Even if you can't get a table here, sitting at the bar is a pleasure! The staff are so friendly and do a great job of juggling all their duties while giving awesome service! I should have left this updated review ages ago but sometimes words are hard to come by when a feeling is not fleeting. Below you will find my original review in 2020 right after Neon Tiger opened. I will never forget you Neon Tiger! You have definitely been a beacon of hope for animals and helped steer me in the right direction! Thank you!!Been looking for a vegan pepperoni pizza. Surpassed my expectations! Not only is it vegan but it's the best (NY style) pepperoni pizza I've ever had!!!“
“My wife and I stumbled upon this great place in the heart of the French Quarter. Exceptional service, great food, and a very cool Charleston pub. We shared the fish and chips, and also the house chips with their ranch dressing for dipping. Wonderful.“
“This is one of our fav restaurants in Charleston! We just celebrated our anniversary there on Monday and had such a great time! Kari was our waitress and she was absolutely wonderful! She was extremely attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable! She even brought me bug spray because I was getting bit by mosquitoes. I will always recommend this place to locals or out of town visitors!“
“Orlando’s did not disappoint. The pizza was amazing and our server was very hospitable. This restaurant was what I would consider to be a must try if you’re visiting Charleston!! Thank you from all of us at That 1 Painter for the memory you guys created, we will be stopping back by soon!“
“The food was excellent, starting with meatballs and marinara sauce. My wife doesn't normally do meatballs but found them very good. The bread was not the normal oven baked but an Albania roll that was excellent, had them in Italy, and once again, my wife was happy because Italian oven has the hard crust which I like, but it's a personal taste. What can I say, but the overall dinner was excellent.“
“Renzo is hands down my favorite restaurant in Charleston. It’s first and foremost delicious, but also loud (in the best way) and cozy. In a city that often times takes its food too seriously, Renzo is irreverent and fun.Do yourself a favor and order the Korean fried chicken and a Caesar. It’s the best salad in town and those two items alone make a great meal. But don’t stop there. The pastas sell out fast because they’re good - make earlier reservations and guarantee yourself a selection of menu items. The wood fired pizzas are the perfect mix of crusty edges and soft centers. You get char and chew all on one plate. Finally, never miss a “specials” event, loved red sauce week so much the first night we came back for a second. Feast of the Seven Fishes is better than my husband’s Italian grandmother (but I didn’t tell her that).“
“How do you describe great pizza in 4 words? "Pizza A Modo Mio"My wife and I were in town for a convention and stopped into this little gem for some take out. First of all, when you walk in the aromas in that room are amazing. We placed our order (although it was hard to pick just 1 or 2 things, everything looked so dang good).I ordered the pizza (18 inch) with pepperoni & onions. My wife ordered some different slices of pizza and an order of garlic knots. Everyone working behind the counter were pleasant and personable. I got to talk to the owner (Mike) and his manager (Pete). Boy, you could tell these guys were from New York lol. We grabbed our food, paid the cashier and we were off to the hotel to dive in.The pizza was traditional New York style. Thin slices that were full of flavor even with just 2 toppings. The sauce was amazing and the pizza crust...mmmmm. The garlic knots - well....let's just say they didn't last long. Buttery, garlicy and soft. Sooooo goodWhen we are back in town, we will definitely be stopping here again. Do yourself a favor and give these guys a try, you will thank meWheelchair accessibility: Easy in and easy out“
“Best pizza I've ever had in my life!! Service was amazing, they make everyone feel like a part of the family. We were visiting for vacation and found this gem based on reviews. My only regret is that I can't go here in a regular basis.“
“The pizza was awesome! The service was not. The cashier definitely had no desire to be there. He was rude and abrupt. I would go back but hopefully he has moved on or changed his attitude. The place is clean but there is no indoor seating. There are tables out front on the sidewalk. Its a nice area of town and its clean.“
“Okay, so I lived in New York for almost four years & after moving back home, this is the closest I can get to NYC pizza. It is absolutely DELICIOUS with top-notch ingredients —that baked with love and care — and genius parings. My co workers got the BIG CHEESY pizza as my going away present.Needless to say, it’s LAST MEAL WORTHY! Keep up the good work & CHARLESTON KNEADS D’ALS!!“
“A Fantatisc find for pizza aficionados, especially those needing gluten-free options. The knowledgeable staff ensures a safe, delicious experience, offering a wide variety of pizzas, no meatball and chicken for gluten-free versions. The care in avoiding cross-contamination is commendable, making the dining experience worry-free. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and eagerly anticipate returning. Highly recommended for a top-notch, gluten-conscious feast!Dietary restrictions: The establishment shines in its understanding and handling of gluten-free dietary restrictions. They demonstrate exceptional care, ensuring that gluten-free pizzas are prepared with meticulous attention to avoid any cross-contamination. This attention to detail provides a safe haven for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities, allowing them to indulge in delicious pizzas without concern.“
“I just want to say the food at Sangaree Pizza is phenomenal. We get takeout here often, and the food is always hot and delicious. At the time of writing this review, we ordered a 10” pepperoni pizza, a chicken Alfredo, a gnocchi Sorrento, and a large original Stromboli. The food was so good our family of 5 devoured it so quickly that we didn’t take any pictures ?. This place is hands down our go to when it comes to Italian. The owners are also extremely kind and you can tell they have a real passion for serving up excellent food. I honestly cannot recommend Sangaree Pizza enough. Much love to the owners and crew, the food is simply outstanding!“
“I ordered Jets pizza delivery for the first time today. First I'd like to say we opened the pizza boxes and stared at them for about 30 seconds- beautiful pizzas and after taking my first bite I thought to myself wow delicious. the crust was crispy and soft all in the right places. I also ordered chicken and an Italian boat sandwich- absolutely delicious. I will only order future pizzas from jets. My entire household is now on what we call the jet train???.“
“Staff: our waitress was amazing. He came to our table just the right amount. Our drinks never went dry and she had a great home-feeling smile.Building: The building is spacious and very well taken care of. The bathrooms are clean.Food: The oven roasted green olives with garlic were delicious. The seeds caught me off guard. Apparently my teeth can’t chew them. The thin crust pizzas were great.Speed:everything came out fast.Parking: The parking is on the street and could be difficult to find.Star rating: 5 because of the price and the waitress was the best I’ve had in a long time.I have no problem coming back here every chance I get.If this review helped, please hit the thumbs up and give me a follow.Vegetarian options: Have to check the website.Dietary restrictions: You have to check the website.Parking: Parking can be hard to find on the street. But this will allow you to get your steps in.Kid-friendliness: Yes, bring the kiddos.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs can get around just fine.“
“I really enjoy mod pizza. The pizza is always delicious. I love the whole structure of this restaurant, because I love being able to pick my ingredients to customize my own pizza, and I love that they offer the plant based cheese and sausage. The only critique I have is regarding the placement of the regular cheese. It's right next to the tomato sauce and it's even around other vegetables and I always see the real cheese crumbs in the vegetables that are around it. This probably isn't a big deal for most people, but for people who want a 100% plant-based pizza, this is technically a cross-contamination. I know mod pizza is not a vegan restaurant, but this is just a suggestion that would maybe help them serve their customers who are more strictly plant based. I know that mod pizza cares about these customers because they have taken the time to offer 2 crucial plant-based ingredients, so kudos to them for even adding it on the menu. It would make it even better if they also took one more step to separate the regular cheese from the other vegetables and tomato sauce, to keep it from being contaminated with the cheese crumbs, in order to serve those customers who the plant based ingredients are for a bit better... just a thought. All in all, because I'm not a strict vegan, I am vegetarian, and don't really mind the cheese too much but sometimes I do notice it because I would prefer not to have any real cheese in my food. I still really enjoy the food at mod pizza, and I look forward to my next visit.“
“So we're in Charleston for my sons wedding and we decide to go out for Itallian, We looked at the reviews and this seemd like a good place to eat, but it wasnt good, It was GREAT.The food was delicious, the establishment was clean, and our waitress Carla, was like being in your own home. She laughed and joked with us and gave us a run down on the food and how it was prepared.By the end of the night The chef was at our table telling us stories from his time in Italy and dressed up some nice cannollis for desert.I cant imagine going back to charelston and not stoppiong in for dinner. So if your looking for a good meal, fair priced with service that makes you feel like your home. This is where you want to go, hands down“
“There's nothing not to like about this pizza-centric outpost to its sister restaurant, Cuocco Pazzo, located in the same strip center on Johnnie Dodds Blvd. The interior is small and intimate with maybe 10 tables and a two stool 'bar' which also serves as a counter for pick up orders. Beverages are limited to beer, wine and soda. There's 4 appetizers of which three are fried and of course, meatballs in marinara ... three salads - Caesar, Caprese and House, several calzones, 3 paninis and 10 specialty pizzas, one size. We also reviewed a sheet with 7 pasta dishes which seemed odd given these same entrees are offered at Cuocco Pazzo, a few doors away. Our order was simple. We were sharing the Caprese salad ($13.49) and a Carnivoro (Meat Lovers) pizza. Our server, Grazie, advised that they were running out of pepperoni (huh?) and that other meats would be increased. Hub started with a great pour of Chianti, well priced at $7.00/glass. We both enjoyed their take on the Caprese salad - it was a perfect size for sharing. The presentation was lovely ... 8 half moon slices of fresh, seasoned mozzarella, alternating with thin slices of juicy tomato topped with a chiffonade of fresh basil ... accompanied by a nice portion of fresh mixed greens, gently tossed with a yummy balsamic vinegar. The pizza, probably between 12-13 inches was delicious, but, perhaps a bit overpriced at $21.95. The crust was thin, which is my preference. The toppings were tasty ... but, there could have been more and it could have been crisper which knocked my rating down from 5 stars to four. We ordered the mini cannoli to go. They were tasty, but overpriced at $6.00, considering their size. Our server was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. I love a panini and definitely want to share the Caesar!“
“I absolutely love going here! I always get the Alfredo pizza which is always so good. And last time my son played with the coin machines and my server (Kat) and some customers were giving him so many quarters it was so sweet. Kat was always very attentive and on the ball I highly recommend her when you dine here.“
“I’ve been going to Frothy Beard for a couple of years and the selection of beers has improved. The food selection has increased with burgers and wings that are as good as most pubs. One item to stay away from is the nachos. They would win the worst in Charleston award.“
“I am not a New Yorker, but I was raised by one and also have been to Brooklyn plenty of times to visit family. I have been to plenty of places in the US that claim it had New York style pizza outside the State. This is the best I have found. I judged my friends choice when she said it was going to be good and I'd like it (she's from Brooklyn). She was correct. I have taken the 40-50 minutes drive (in traffic) just to get this Pizza plenty of times. Totally worth it!“
“This place is so fun!! Being able to play games brings back memories of other pizza places we went to as kids... I would recommend this place to anyone wanting pizza.. it doesn't get any better than the pizza buffet!!The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars all the way is because I ordered my pizza for pickup.. I don't even live a half of a mile away and the pizza was ice cold by the time I got there and the cheese was already hard rather than stringy like.. I personally believe they gave me a pizza they made hours ago and the person who ordered it never showed or some other reason as to why the pizza was old when it had just been ordered.. I called Cici's to inform them about this and 2 girls on the line told me they were not responsible for my pizza being cold when I didn't come in for a couple of hours after ordering it. I told them I left home and drove straight to the restaurant as soon as I ordered it and was there in less than 15 minutes which they had told me when I ordered it that it would be around 45 min wait. I am certain they gave me someone else's pizza who never showed up and that will explain why it was cold. It was getting close to closing time and I didn't have any desire to return there that night I asked if I could come tomorrow night for a fresh hot pizza. They Said no take what you get or cook it yourself if we give you a free pizza then everyone will want a free pizza... I told them I wasn't asking for a free pizza just the pizza I had paid for. I don't know why it took 2 of them to talk to me on rhe phone but they seemed to be encouraging each other to be more and more rude to me and the way they Laughed at each other was beyond annoying. I didn't get a new hot pizza and I have not been back there since this incident.“
“Very friendly staff & environment. Immediately, when we walked in and we're greated...we felt like long time customers/friends/family even though it was our 1st time visiting. Good was excellent and came in large portions for reasonable prices. Great place for either a date night out or a night out with family. Looking forward to come again!“
“Uptown Social is the place to be if you are visiting Charleston! My group went on a Saturday night and it was extremely busy! There were a lot of bachelorette groups and spring break groups! The drinks are expensive but it is expected being in a tourist area. The music was great! Highly recommend if you are between the age of 21-30.“
“I had the Cloud 9 wings, which were delicious. Be warned that they are VERRY messy. Also, the menu says they have a hint of heat, but they have more than a hint. This is coming from someone who likes HOT wings.Dietary restrictions: GF options.“
“If you haven’t tried this place, you’re missing out. The pizza is some of the best we’ve had outside of the time we tried some in New Jersey. What made it even better? Our server! Jackson was fantastic! I was honestly surprised he isn’t the face of this place. Make sure you ask for him on your visit here.“
“Today we had decided to have lunch at another restaurant in Daniel Island, but we were sent away because our group was too big and they didn't have enough staff (???). We found Orlando's and we were seated immediately. The food was great; our server (I think his name is Scott) was very courteous and went above and beyond to accomodate all of us. We are very pleased with this place, and will definitely come back.“
“I work night shift on an ambulance and was desperate to get dinner before everything closed. Paisano’s was closing in 30 mins but the staff was so welcoming and never made me feel bad for ordering close to their closing time. The pizza was so yummy and the personalized note on the box made my day. The food is great but the service was the best part of my experience!“
“This place was great; stopped here randomly for a quick slice and the people were super nice, food was super affordable, and tasty. A NY style thin crust slice was like $6. The pie was warm and soft on the top, but crunchy on the bottom. A great alternative instead of waiting a ridiculously long time for the fancy pizza places.“
“Always enjoy their Monday-Tuesday coupon for my family of 4! Always fresh and pizzas are always being put out. Don't see your favorite? It's only an order away! Love this about CiCi's! It is our go too when momma doesn't feel like cooking!!!Kid-friendliness: Video game room!“
“I’ve been ordering from Paisano’s for a while now. The food is consistently very good. Delivery can be slow, but it doesn’t stop me from using them. Prices are very reasonable. Every restaurant will have a bad day on occasion. But, I’ve found that it’s rare here. I highly recommend them and I don’t do that lightly.“
“Don't sleep on this place. Eaten here several times and each they had the best tasting pizza in town. Both my fiancee and I agree that their White Calzone is the by far one of the best calzones we have ever tasted, and she is from Europe and has been all over to pizza places. “
“We love D’Al’s for family pizza nights. It’s a chill atmosphere with the best pizza around. Great location for littles - a small park is just outside for post-pizza wilding. But we’ve also ordered it for adult family gatherings. Reliably good.“
“Had a great evening at Wood & Grain! Our table of four had several different dishes, including oyster, and everything was amazing! Our server was super friendly and attentive! We will definitely be back to eat more of their delicious food!“
“One of our favorite places to eat outside in Charleston, especially with kids. Get a pizza and salad from the walk up window, grab a drink, let the kids run around, and enjoy. Also, you can grab ice cream at the trailer next door if your kid stops playing long enough to actually eat their food.“
“Solid food. New York specialty pizza, cheesy garlic bread, Alfredo pasta and meatballs & pasta were all on point. Flavorful, not overly greasy. We were gonna' do a chain but decided to give this place a shot. A little bit of a wait but with the amount of food we ordered and it being a one man show, it's to be expected. Excited to try some of the other items on the menu now. I'll definitely be going back.“
“The pizzas are way too big for one person. And starting at $18. So I opted for the meatballs and boy they were great. They come with 3 good size meatballs and two slices of pizza kind of bread. For under $10. It's the best deal. Get that if you are traveling alone. You won't regret it.“
“I had the Shroom pizza... it was so good, that in spite of setting out to eat half, I forced myself to eat the whole thing because it tasted so dang good. Once of the best pizzas I've had in my entire life, and I've had a lot of pizza. Give it a try, well worth it. My wife got the clam pizza and loved it.“
“Stopped by this Costco while in the area just to stock up on alcohol for the holidays. Having the ABC store separate from the main store made it super quick and easy to pick up a bunch of libations at a reduced price. Great selection and we have found the Kirkland brand liquors of great quality. The spiced rum is surprisingly delicious and a great deal.“
“It was fun ,clean ,and staff was super nice .We had a concern at the entrance and they were quick to help us and fix it .Honestly they were so welcoming and also I enjoyed how clean it was .Our food was hot and just what we wanted .This location also has a wide open space so you don’t feel your touch toes with others .The manager in charge totally with purple nails .Girl thank you you made our night ?“
“The process was easy because I ordered it online sat in my car and waited for the food to come and got a notification that it was ready in the bin. I went in retrieved my product went home threw it in front of the kids and everybody was happy.“
“Thank you Donators Pizza for the coupon for I didn't know what I wanted but not a burger and fries, checking you out because you were close by.You got a customer, the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub was delicious.I also wanted to mention while waiting people who pick up Door Dash orders bring in your bags when you pick up your order,it's posted.Dont get mad at the young lady who was just doing her job“
“This little pizzeria has the best food! Every ingredient is so fresh and cooked to perfection. We had the black and bleu salad and margherita pizza. The pizza is big enough to split with 2 people. Each person gets 3 medium size slices. We were very happy with the service we had and it's a nice relaxing place to eat outside in the shade under some oak trees.“
“Fiore's is a great pizza shop near the intersection of Savannah Highway and Main Rd. They have a small counter for eat-in (maybe 4 seats), so plan on take-away. The pizza is great, with lots of options, including seasoned crust! My family also enjoys their wings, but we have not tried sandwiches. A bit more pricey than the chain pizza places, but the taste is worth it!Vegetarian options: Fiore's offers both Vegan and Gluten-free pizza options for crust, cheeses, and toppings, including plat-based pseudo-meats.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten-free pizza crust and toppings.Parking: This is in the Publix shopping center, with standard grocery/shopping center parking.“
“Just felt like pizza on our way to the outerbanks. This Hunt Bros chain was an easy 10. Square pizza in a square box cut in bite sized pieces. All the toppings were fresh and cooked perfectly. The friendly atmosphere and ambience make it a future stop. HIGHLY recommended.“
“Just had the best experience with a large order of 17 large pizzas for a high school activity. Harrison is a very knowledge employee, who assisted me and insured I receive the school price and ordered enough pizza for 60 students. Best customer service ever. Harrison deserves a promotion and put on te path of manager.“
“I recently went to Famulari's for the first time. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had at any restaurant. We were immediately greeted and seated on a Frida night which was nice, but there were a lot of people in the restaurant. I have celiac disease so I can't have any food in contact with wheat, and I let my sweet server, Brittney, know. She want above and beyond to make sure my food wouldn't be contaminated and her manager even personally made my pizza. I had no issues after eating my pizza, not to mention it was delicious! Thank you Famulari's!!! I will be backDietary restrictions: They have gluten free crust and even went above and beyond to make sure my pizza was made separately from the regular dough pizzas“
