“If you're looking for a fun place to try a large variety of beers or cocktails, this is the place to go. The inside dining area is so spacious, and the bar itself is inviting and fun. There is also a patio and outside bar area where there's live music. The food there is great too, and the portions are worth the price. The staff there are also very friendly and are able to help you out with any questions. Overall, a great place to take a date or friends.Parking: The place has its own parking lot.Kid-friendliness: I would not bring kids here.“
“The staff is the best, attentive and courteous, there's a terrific selection of arcade games including skee-ball, there's plenty of space for large events, and although they only have about 8 lanes there is enough room for everyone to bowl and relax comfortably. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike!“

“A great mix of so many things! The burgers and sandwiches were so tasty, but then came the sushi which was mouthwatering! Great food and service, price point was very reasonable! And for sure, get the nachos, they were amazing. Will definitely be back.“
“This place is great!! Wings on Thursday night are half price dine in only. What I didn't understand is why I was told I cannot take the 5 wings my wife had left over home in a box. I'm sorry she didn't eat her 10 Wing limit order, but if I am paying for ten, I am taking those 5 left over home. Ended up getting a box, but shouldn't have to ask why. I know some people may order extras to take home when it's dine in only, and that is wrong, but if I get full at 14 wings, I am taking those other 6 I am paying for, even if it's in a napkin in my pocket.“
“I came in for a late Friday lunch and was greeted by the sweetest server, Brandy! She got my order taken in a timely manner and was very kind. I ordered the grilled oysters and tacos which were very tasty. The michelada was also delicious. A great way to start my weekend :)“
“I absolutely love going here! I always get the Alfredo pizza which is always so good. And last time my son played with the coin machines and my server (Kat) and some customers were giving him so many quarters it was so sweet. Kat was always very attentive and on the ball I highly recommend her when you dine here.“
“Uptown Social is the place to be if you are visiting Charleston! My group went on a Saturday night and it was extremely busy! There were a lot of bachelorette groups and spring break groups! The drinks are expensive but it is expected being in a tourist area. The music was great! Highly recommend if you are between the age of 21-30.“
“The atmosphere was great with the DJ out front. They were out of some of the food items but what we were able to order was good but the bar tender seemed more interested in smoking outside than serving the customers inside. We had lunch and there was no one else there except the few people sitting outside for the dj.“

“We had fish and onion rings. I had a full fish portion and wife had half portion. The onion ring were awesome and plentiful. The fish was flaky with a good crust. Tartar sauce was ok, nothing special.They had a fair selection of beer, but I expected a wider selection of local breweries (they did have a few, just not many.)The waitress rook a while to take our orders but was attentive after that.Price was reasonable for portions received.Overall, a place worth visiting if you are close but not worth an out of the way trip to eat there.“
“It's really cold inside. Food was really tasty, but my wife ordered the ham and swiss and asked for it to be wrapped, and the order came in a bun. You have to try the shrimp poor boy, really great. No menus on table, took our water order but we couldn't order. 2 other couples had the same problem. I believed that the bar was short staffed, because they were busy but the sign said seat yourself with only 2 people working the floor. Like any restaurant/bar it was loud but we didn't have to shout. Shoestring frys were great, slightly seasoned great taste, I would go back but would have my sweater.“

“Charleston Beer Works was the best place we have ate in Charleston in a long time! We visit Charleston frequently and the food and the service was, hands down, the best in the city! Dave, the bartender, made the experience A+++, he was very knowledgeable and so very helpful and friendly! He went above and beyond to make everything perfect! The pimento cheese was sooo good! They definitely should sell it to-go! The Arrogant burger with fries and the Cackalacky Cuban was soooo amazing! The drinks were perfect! “My son has a bowling league, and we always come here. Usually, they are not super packed, and they have a good food bar. It's a little pricey, but whatever. The pretzels and churros are great. The arcade is ok, enough to keep the little kids entertained.“
