“Came for an early dinner with some friends before a show and was not disappointed. Located in a little pocket sort of near Hampton Park, expect to spend a minute circling the block to find parking. Renzo is unassuming but light and bright in a corner spot with tables and booths and a normal bar. We were early enough for unexpected Happy Hour specials (on a Saturday) and took full advantage - meatballs and discount cocktails. Meatballs were soft and moist and flavorful with 4 per order. Miso were better than the Roman (strong sauce with almost raw garlic) but we liked both. Drinks were all solid, from Happy Hour on. Get the guava-lychee drink. The rest of the menu is split into pizzas and not pizzas and we picked a few from both. The Caesar and most other dishes are perfectly portioned for one or to share amongst a table of four. We ended up having the Caesar, two “not pizzas”, the two orders of meatballs, and two pizzas and it was perfect for our group at a great price. Some dishes were a split like/don’t like (lemony potatoes & desserts), but as a whole we didn’t have a bad bite. A great spot for a little less than a la fancy pizza & pasta dinner, Renzo delivers.

“Highly recommend Pizza A Modo Mio!! The employees are all so friendly and caring. Garlic knots for only $3!!! And giant pizzas that don’t fit in a normal size pizza box. You have to go all out when there. Get the appetizer, get the huge pizza, and get the Italian ice that comes in so many flavors. The cotton candy flavor can’t be beat 😋“

“I don’t have a bad thing to say about Ray’s!! Being a Philly transplant, I have always been on the hunt for a solid pizza restaurant that delivers. Being one of maybe three on the island, they’ve far exceeded my expectation. The style of pizza and variety of menu reminds me of home with not only pizza, but calzones, STROMBOLI, parms, etc. After being here almost 10 years, I have finally found my go-to take out spot. Did I mention how good their specials are?? Don’t ever change!!“

“The bolognese pizza absolutely rocked. Be prepared for a little spice, but absolutely top notch. Crust was amazing and the sauce and cheese were awesome. I topped that off with a big salad and that would be enough meal for three people! Throw in a nice wine list and you really have a nice place here“

“I have to say after living right down the street for 5 years I am ashamed I have never bothered to give Joeys a go. That being said I had the best experience today. Not sure about current reviews but the atmosphere was great. Granted if they did have a heavy metal concert I probably would have gone sooner, but it was nothing of the sorts. You can hit your regular spots for that regular ole sub however Chris and Curtis take pride in their establishment. Since I was a newbie I let them take me through a "sandwich experience", for lack of better terms. They recommended the Godmother's Turkey after asking me a few question about what I like.
The bread was unbelievably crispy, I am one to put chips on my sandwiches' for crunch however their bread had the perfect "crunch" for me. I know they have a trainee but to me I wouldn't have known. (GOOD TO KNOW PEOPLE STILL WORK not only that but put 120% into it.)
I HIGHLY recommend to try them if you haven't. Don't let the haters hate because they ain't!
Also people like to review about their own personal issues not the actual restaurant. If you try and don't like I'll buy you your favorite sammich wherever you want.

Great fantastic service and really good pizza and this is coming from someone who lives Chicago style pizza. Great affordable prices and would definitely come back here. “First let me say, the pizza was delicious!! Thin, crispy crust…the kind of yumminess you get from a wood burning oven. The perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and flavor. I don’t know what it’s like normally, but it was very slow and I for sure thought that the service would have been better…it was meh. Pretty cool atmosphere, but I was sitting at the bar and I can’t say I appreciated the bartender coming on duty spraying cleaning supplies and pouring bleach while I sat there. Don’t get me wrong, I love the smell of cleat, but I don’t enjoy inhaling the cleaning spray while I eat. If I come back, I’ll sit at a table to enjoy a delicious pizza.“

“Visiting Charleston,SC, needed something filling . Found New York Pizza on East Bay Street. The young lady April who took my order over the phone was wonderful. She was most helpful in suggesting the amount and toppings. My mobility issues allowed me to go to the Lobby and receive my Pizza. Leo brought it to the desk, he was very nice, appreciative and caring. April and Leo are great employees to have, they accommodate others issues and make it happen. I am most grateful and thankful. “I may be bias because I used to drive for the Summerville location but this food is great. I love the cheese bread and 10" pizza, both are great for a lunch treat. The marinara sauce is hands down the best. Made in house and it shows in the taste.

“Best option for vegan pizza in Charleston, in terms of value and product. We were able to get three completely different vegan pizzas for the price of one of those options at other restaurants. Plus, they don’t charge per ingredient so you can make your dream pizza without racking up the price. All three of our pizzas tasted great and were ready for pick up in 15 minutes.

“I had the Shroom pizza... it was so good, that in spite of setting out to eat half, I forced myself to eat the whole thing because it tasted so dang good. “OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE and the food was DELICIOUS!!! I reached out to the Folly Rd. Marco's about having quite a few pizzas, brownies and drinks delivered to a hotel where I had a group of 28 staying. I called the store a couple times in the weeks leading up to the delivery before placing my order online. Each time I called, the person that answered the phone was so polite and helpful. On delivery day, the driver ("9694-H.M.") was on time (a few minutes early, even!) and so polite. When I asked him about the plates and napkins I had requested when I called the store to confirm my order, he had forgotten them and you could tell he felt horrible. He was so apologetic (said he sees the note about the paper products now and just missed it earlier) and offered to go back to the store and get them or go out and buy some at the store around the corner and bring them back. I asked if he'd get reimbursed for that, and he said no, but that didn't matter (I told him it did matter and we didn't need to do that). The group was already starting to come down for dinner, so I asked the hotel if there was any way they could help out (their customer service had also been stellar!). The hotel "saved the day" and was able to provide some paper plates and napkins, so all was well. I told the driver "problem solved" and no worries. I really appreciated him offering to go above and beyond.....I thought service like that was long gone. I was so impressed with this young man. About 20 minutes later, he showed up again at the hotel with a grocery bag of paper plates and napkins (even though he knew the hotel was able to find some for us). I was so impressed with his integrity! I thanked him and said we were good and maybe he could keep those in his car in case he needs them another time. So, Marco's on Folly Beach Rd........not only did you guys provide a great dinner for my group, but had it delivered by a person who is OUTSTANDING at his job!!! Thank you so much for making our evening GREAT!“
