“To say the Sweet Shop is an iconic legend in Mt P is an understatement!! You won't find better food anywhere at any price for what's on his menu. As restaurants come and go I can't think of any other that's still in business after 30+ years.“

“We had a great meal yesterday and I wanted to share with my friends in the Mt. Pleasant area. We happened upon this place (next to Bottles) when we didn't feel like waiting at Pages. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. We made new friends, petted dogs, and chatted with the bartender about new signature drinks he's in the process of creating. They make all their sausages, burgers, pickles, sauces in house and have a take-out counter to purchase their wide variety of house made sausages and other meats to cook at home. (I'm getting some alligator andouille for Mardi Gras) They cater and do events, they have trivia on Tuesdays at 630, they can accommodate large groups for gatherings, they have a large outdoor eating area, and parking is plentiful. And to top it off they have tons of beers, and they even do taste-offs featuring local brewerys. I encourage you to support this local business and enjoy some great food. And if you like pork belly, don't pass on the pork belly skewers. Oh, and grab some merchandise bc their logo is awesome!“

“Cody that works for the Five guys made a really great impression for dining in the place for the first time with my family. I thought he is the manager of the place. Great customer service. It really shows that he loves his job and is so rare to find these kinds of employees. Cody deserves employee of the year or a pay raise. Keep up the good work and there should be more people/employees like you!“
