“To say we highly recommend dining at Myrtle Beach’s Landshark Bar & Grill (next to the Sky Wheel) is an understatement. As parents of a child with severe allergies, our dining out experiences are truly limited, not just in food selections but with having places outright say they won’t serve us. Prior to visiting, the Manager Cole spent over half an hour on the phone going over the menu with me, indicating what was safe and what COULD be MADE to be safe. Upon arriving, Cole, with the help of Lyra our awesome server, took control of the scenario and personally made sure everything was done as he promised it would be. For the first time in his life, our son was able to sit down, order off the same menu as everyone else, and thoroughly enjoy eating everything HE got to choose. It was a moment that brought tears to quite a few of us. The food was truly delicious, and the service was incredible. I will forever be grateful for Cole’s help, and for the amazing experience he and his staff were able to give our family. Next time we are in Myrtle Beach, Landshark will definitely be our go to!!”

“My husband and I came to your restaurant with 6 other people our experience was wonderful until a fly landed in my glass of wine I asked for the manager (Nick) I had about a third of a glass of wine and that's EXACTLY what he brought me, I asked are you kidding, he said no we don't give away free Alcohol, that was rude!! we spent over $600 in your restaurant. I told him this is a high end restaurant and this is how you handle this over a $10 glass of wine. We weren't done dining, but when this happened we got our check and left.. I was so disappointed and he told me sorry you feel that way!!! We won't be back any time soon and I love dining there.”

We didn’t know that there was an underground garage until the last day of our stay. We had been parking in the big garage across the street most of the time, except a couple times when the parking spots right in front of the beach opened up.”

“I like McDonald's but it's declining in food quality and service. Often times we go to McDonald's for the children's happy meals. Most times, the counter staff seems to run on autopilot...no welcoming words, blank facial expression or just indifference. We much rather experience the drive-thru service and do...rather than. ordering and dining inside. The bun size, and meat patty size and thickness, seem to get smaller but price keeps rising. A small cup of orange juice is north of $2. Needless to say, I can go to the grocery store and by a gallon for the same price ..and do. The Food is just slapped in the wrapper or the box. Just 5 years ago, food service was the very opposite.”

I don’t usually write reviews but from the moment we walked in the staff made us feel welcome and the Christmas decorations made it feel super cozy and comfortable, like a spot you want to hang out in for a while.
Logan was our server and he was awesome. Super friendly, checked on us without hovering, and had great suggestions. He was one of those servers that makes you feel like you’ve been coming there for years even though it was our first time. Just an all around great guy who clearly enjoys what he does.
Perfect Friday night spot and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. When you go, ask for Logan he’s the man, but all the other staff and manager were very friendly.”

I was so impressed with their efficiency, especially with a line that never ended! The kids were so excited-hard to excite a bunch of teenagers, but they LOVED their surprise shakes!!!! The prosciutto paired beautifully with the apricot jelly, creating a delightful balance of flavors that left us wanting more. For our main course, we tried the steak flatbread, which was nothing short of impressive. The combination of tender steak and fresh toppings made each bite a treat. I was also thrilled to find Virgil Kaine bourbon on their menu. The blueberry bourbon smash was a delightful concoction, perfectly refreshing and bursting with flavor. To top it all off, the owner personally stopped by our table to check in, and their warm hospitality truly made us feel valued. Lobster bites and lemon pepper shrimp were a great start. I had one of the catch of the day specials, grouper with scallops. Well prepared and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. But of course, the beer is the main thing, and it's second to none. I highly recommend the Beach Easy wittbier, and also there was a lemon/ginger sour that I forget the name of. But I'm guessing that you can't go wrong with anything, its just a matter of your preferences.”

“While vacationing for five nights in North Myrtle Beach this past week, we enjoyed dining at The Chesapeake House twice…it was so delicious. We also had outstanding service by Debbie and Buddy! As soon as you’re seated, a basket of delicious hush puppies with both tartar sauce and honey butter are served, and sitting atop of the hush puppies are insanely good cinnamon rolls! You’re also given a small cup of their famous Fish Stew, which I was hesitant to try but it was fabulous, especially with the hush puppies!! A garden salad also accompanied our meals. I highly recommend the Oyster Stew, Shrimp and Grits and Seafood Platter…it’s all incredibly good!!! Be sure to take home some cinnamon rolls!”

I love that they had roasted peanuts. Because that is fabulous while watching the activities in the rodeo ring.

I did not get the bartender’s name, but he really did an amazing job (happy, engaging, everything was on point…..down to making sure I had some of their delicious ginger sauce for our leftovers!), the food was beyond flavorful and fresh! And their lunch specials are an incredible deal and perfect for a holiday shopping refresh. We got their special roll lunch and a lunch bento box, shared all the things and still had enough to bring home for nibbles later on! They are fantastically consistent in service and flavor and I highly recommend!”

I told him this is a high end restaurant and this is how you handle this over a $10 glass of wine. We weren't done dining, but when this happened we got our check and left.. “My wife and I joined in September and are certainly hooked on this wonderful place. Top notch fun at a reasonable price. You can go play for a daily rate ($30) and it is well worth it or join for $25 a month and play unlimited mini golf, cornhole, ping pong, tons of big TVs, and much, much, more included. They have special events for members and tournaments weekly, so much fun! Chad runs the tourneys and has done an amazing job! We hope for lots more tourneys and events.
