“Whenever I am in town,I make sure that I eat lunch here. The food is pretty good. The staff is nice. Parking in the private lot can get crowded, especially around noon, during the weekdays.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids' menu. Smaller portion sizes.“
“1st time coming here and must say, it's very nice. Love the decor throughout and the outdoor space is huge. I've never been one to change from my normal drink but I told the bartender lady my usual drink of choice and she made me an awesome drink that I would have never thought of, well done. “The convenience store you have to walk through to get to the restaurant ordering window is one of the nastiest I've ever seen in my life, BUT Rai Shaun's food was fantastic. I had lima beans and rice with a big piece of hambone in it and shrimp and grits. My wife had the okra soup, fried fish and the best crab cake we've ever eaten (I had to steal a taste) at any price. Rai Shaun is a great cook and super friendly guy. Good luck and I hope you can open a sit down restaurant soon and get out of that convenience store.“
“The Purple Buffalo Is a pretty nice cozy place. The only thing is the bathroom is awful. The doors don't look, toilet paper on the floor, it was just a nasty bathroom. A nice establishment like this should have someone tend to the bathroom throughout the night. Nothing like a nasty bathroom to turn someone off. Keep the bathroom clean and up to par. People will always talk about a clean bathroom.“
“You just have to get your butt up there and see for yourself. The people, the atmosphere, and of course…the more the merrier!! Attentive Bartenders and the owners are just the best! They’re sisters and ‘Oh So Country’ and so so sweet. You should know that smoking is an actual thing there. If u smoke, you can smoke inside at the bar, tables by the pool table, out on the back patio, anywhere, everywhere…u can smoke. And even if you don’t smoke….just know they will be. Smoke Eaters are up there doing what they do The girls crack the doors open and will turn on the turbo fan, whatever it takes to keep the air clear of as much smoke as possible..:. But, it’s seriously so chill there, always a good time, good laughs and memories that will make for some great stories to tell around the fire later and for years to come. I can say, I have never had a bad time or less than an awesome, fun experience there. And as you may have already gathered YES! I go there often!! The staff is always friendly, the food is great, and I feel the prices are reasonable.Parking: The location is right on the street, and there are several other bars and restaurants beside it. Have been able to find parking in front most of the time, but occasionally have to park on a side street. It really depends on what time of day, and day of the week.“
