I've ordered sweet tea a total of about 6 times in the last two weeks... I have received sweet tea twice. (They give unsweetened & then say "it must not be sweet enough" no.. there's not one bit of sugar in that tea.Last Sunday I came & had someone's small black hairs MELTED into the cheese on my sandwich. (Yes it was hair).This place used to be great but they're definitely going down hill especially for the price.Bathrooms are gross, I would expect better & cleaner.When you order "extra" online, they don't give it.

Unfortunately my last experience at McAllister fell short compared to previous visits. I thought I had found the perfect combination with the choose two spud max and pecan berry salad. My husband had the Savanah salad. This time the potato was lukewarm and I had to ask for the extra sour cream that I ordered. Also no bacon? Then my salad was missing the chicken which I had to ask for twice. They brought the wrong salad dressing for my husband's salad and one extra dressing like we ordered. We figure the kitchen right combined with a poor runner. While we had been going there twice a month not sure when I'll be back. They need to work on quality control.

Not the Mccallister's we are used to. They had terrible attitudes and the bathroom had no soap, no towels, and was filthy and nasty. You should get better when you spend 50 dollars for lunch.Food was good though.

As with a lot of restaurants these days they seem to be understaffed. When we entered it was unclear whether they had table service. I asked one employee and she said yes. So, we sat there for a short while until we realized what she meant by table service was that you had to order at the counter and then they give you a number card and deliver the food to the table when it is prepared. The place itself is well lit and also has outdoor tables. My wife thought the air conditioning was a bit too cold. But, with all that said, the food was outstanding. The sandwiches are very large with plenty of meat. I had the New Yorker which had corned beef and pastrami and Swiss cheese on marbled rye bread. The wife had a half portion of a baked potato with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut kraut and thousand island dressing. They server brought out a whole Irish baked potato and said that they consider a whole order two potatoes. ?. Needless to say, it was a huge meal even for a half portion. The bill came to about $30 including a small tip. This also included two sides, a bowl of chili and an order of steamed broccoli ?. All in all we were very satisfied. Hope they get their staffing issues fixed. We would definitely return and recommend them.

I had a baby shower for my daughter and was stressing I went into McAllister and the manager Kristine sat down with me explained al catering and even helped me order on line. Food was ready on time on day of pick up Food was delicious I definitely recommend this place Thank you so much

I hadn't been there for years and have noticed that I seldom see it busy like in the years past. Today we decided to go for lunch. Their daily feature is a $10.49 combination of 2 items. I asked the cashier what was included and she pointed to the menus of all the salads, all the soups, all the sandwiches etc. I asked if we could choose any 2 and she said "yes, any for $10.49". So my wife and I did. The bill should have been about $21.00 plus tax. Well the bill was over $30.00 and I asked why. She said she didn't know so we looked closely at the charges and my 1/2 salad was up-charged $1.69 and my wife's salad and sandwich were EACH up-charged $1.69. I asked why and she said we "must have chosen items that cost more"! I said What? You said choose any for $10.49 and even showed us the choices". Well we took it as they would do anything and when the food came the salad was small. Definitely not a decent lunch portion but the chili was simply uneatable. It tasted and looked like that cheap ground chili people put on hot dog right out of a can. The $1.00 variety made from animal pieces - gross. On top of that it was dry and tasted burnt and old. I mentioned how disappointed we were to them only to get no response like - you bought it - you eat it. So now I know why it no longer is busy. I'm sure that somewhere in fine print it has to say "Exceptions cost more" so I encourage future customers to know before you go - it ain't the old Mc Alisters Deli!

I had a lovely lunch today around 12 the staff was very sweet and lovely two young girls both very charming and respectful hard to get that nowadays accommodated to my husband and I very well we highly enjoyed the butter pecan cheesecake very kind people the girls refilled my drink and even took my dishes for me thank you to the staff keep up the good work

Was honestly scared to try eating here because of the horrible reviews, but they were just as good as any mcallisters i've ever been to. fresh food, great attitude from everyone we encountered. 10/10 quality as always.
