“Food was amazing and great service. Cheese grits were perfect. Chairs are uncomfortable and one of our tables rocked back and forth if you touched it. Also, too many seats at the table so it felt very crowded with 8 place settings.Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian entree.“

“Wow wow ! This place definitely has authentic flavors. Coming from someone who grew up eating this type of food I have to say it reminded me of our flavors. Staff was SUPER friendly and welcoming. Honestly such great service which made the whole experience even better. The kids have a great selection of food to order from and that's from 12 years and younger. My daughter had the enchilada with beans and rice and she devoured it! My son had the shrimp quesadilla and that was gone in seconds. I decided to get the quesabirria and it was so tasty. The consomé was very flavorful and the tortilla was crispy. My fiancé had the mojarra and that in itself was fried perfectly. They have a salsa bar in the back that has a lot of different types of salsas that are super authentic and flavorful. The place is very clean and pleasant with tons of space and comfortable booths. I'm so happy I took a peak at other 5 star raving reviews and I definitely agree this is the spot for good Mexican food.“

“This is one of the best hidden gems in the whole Anderson area. The food is outstanding with the select dinner items they offer. Service has been excellent with our server taking great care of us, and even checking on specific ingredients made in dishes for us. With my husband's allergies to certain things such as sesame oil, sesame seeds, and certain seafood, it can be challenging to order sometimes. But they went above & beyond to meet my husband's needs. The dining areas are especially nice, with simple decor with certain areas having a view of the lake makes for a great date nite setting. We highly recommend The Galley Restaurant- but have patience if you don't make a reservation first. Most likely you won't get in! But make it and you'll find it very worthwhile for the food, service, environment and not overpriced either for a nice upscale restaurant.“

“If service with a smile were a person, it would be the lovely lady at the Green’s Lobster Roll food truck. Her warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to the already delightful experience. Highly recommended for those seeking both quality seafood and a friendly atmosphere! ?“

“Great place to eat here in Anderson, SC?❤️ The service is unique and exceptional ? All the food they serve here, including the chips and salsa, is made at the moment, so yes is exceptional and delicious Recommend to everyone, especially if you are a TRUCK DRIVER, there's a parking lot in the back of the place to park and go grab something delicious and made at the moment. The first time (Dinner), I got a mocajete plate (Lunch) time the next day I got lunch mar y tierra, and both were amazing ? ?.“

“Great food, excellent service, and reasonable prices for upscale dining. We have eaten there, in Clemson, several times and have never been disappointed. A special entree or two might add a unique appeal for those wanting something other than the menu A GREAT PLACE TO EAT“

“I have been here two times and the food was good for a lakeshore spot. I'm going to say that I would definitely come back if I were out in a boat and wanted some tacos. Last time I was there they were getting their license to serve alcohol so I am almost certain that they should be serving beer and wine with those tacos by now. The place was open so you can come in with a swimsuit on. Service was pleasant. The place is new and clean. Docks are new, and have plenty of parking which is great and is a real serious consideration for me when choosing a place to visit by boat.“

“We really like Pixie and Bill’s as well as their sister restaurant, Calhoun’s Corner. Large menu with plenty of options for options. The restaurant is reminiscent of yesteryear more than newer, more modern restaurants but we really like the vibe and atmosphere probably because of our age group. Our selection this time was the Mediterranean salmon which was delicious! Very tasty and well prepared! We will return soon for sure!!“

“First time at this establishment, and overall had a great experience at El Arriero. Ordered some drinks (Neon Margarita, Cantarito) which were very good ! Both tasted how they’re supposed to with a generous amount of tequila. Also ordered some small dishes which came out quickly. Food was delicious and tasty. All the staff we talked to were very nice and helpful. Always making sure we were good. I will definitely be coming back to try their other drinks. They have a WIDE VARIETY of (alcoholic) drinks to choose from.“

“I am from Arizona and I miss authentic, Sonoran Mexican food. This is the closest I have found, and they have the best salsa in the upstate, in my opinion. There salsa verde is the best I have found. The charred tomato and spicy tomato salsa are fantastic as well, though I am allergic and should not have had any! But I'll be fine. I highly recommend this place and will be bringing my husband, sisters, their husbands, and niece/nephew asap! PS: the chips are so good!“

“A very solid buffet, with a large variety of good food. Is there room for improvement? Of course. Dessert is probably their weakest link, but to be honest, most people don't go to buffets for the desserts. We have been here many times, and we will return many more.“

“Wanted fresh seafood and actually drove from NC to Anderson SC to find a place that did something besides a square fish sandwich. The Hook was the place and while we were flying blind, parked and went it. Great decision. Food was great, broiled & seasoned perfectly with a generous portion. Our server Chris S. was friendly, professional and knew the menu. Our meal was delicious and she checked back numerous times to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Our platters consisted of a large portion of flounder, a crab cake that was huge and made of lump crab meat, scallops and shrimp. Sides were hush puppies and choice of potatoes.Hooks will absolutely be our go to when we want fresh seafood and is worth the long drive.“

“This unique, major-urban-center-excellent, Asian/Mediterranean- fusion eatery is the newest find for us Pendleton-Clemson residents, and we're over the moon! The pizza is superb, as is the sushi and selection of wood-fired veggies. Plus, they have a great selection of IPAs. And prompt, thoughtful wait staff.Vegetarian options: Lots of sushi rolls and veggie pizzas and sides.Parking: With a Handicap placard, we walked four feet.“
