“We love Mexican food and we like trying new places in and around Rock Hill. This is a small unimpressive little hole in the wall..BUT...probably the most authentic Mexican food we've tried locally! The service was very good and fast! There are some very unique items on the menu that are worth making a return visit for another try! I am a huge fan of the Chiles Poblanos and they offered several different ways...stuffed with beef, chicken, or just cheeses....they were delicious! Great homemade guacamole and salsa .... with a reasonably priced menu with lots of selections. If you love authentic Mexican you need to try El Molacajete today!“
“My daughter and I loved this place! There was a cute robot that took the food to the tables, but of course we had a server, and she gave excellent service! I usually just get the same combo every time, but I loved this menu enough to branch out, I tried the arroz con pollo, and it was the best I've ever had! Definitely recommend!!“

But listening to a taco bell commercial then a Tampax commercial at lunch is jarring. Pandora costs like $8 a month. My husband and I were laughing about it the entire time but it does make me wonder if the owner can't swing a premium subscription then where else are they cutting corners?“
“I went here two nights ago. The two young ladies were very nice. I placed my order online about 40minutes before closing. I wouldn’t recommend doing that but we couldn’t decide what we wanted to eat. Food was still good. Very tasty. Again the two young ladies working the counter were very nice.“
“My family and I ate here for dinner one night while visiting Carowinds in 4/2024. The food was great, we enjoyed it. Karina was our waitress and she was very laid back but attentive as well. Very pleasant and friendly.I had the burritos, my wife had the Taquitos and our son had the beef tacos. All were tasty and made with quality ingredients. Very reasonably priced as well.The atmosphere is that of a typical nice Mexican restaurant.We would definitely eat here again if the situation presented itself. Recommended!!“
“It's cash only so make sure you bring atleast 10$ a person. By far the best Steak Taco's I've had in my life. The tortillas are made fresh and not store bought. The steak is seasoned well and way more than any other place I've had. The salsa verde has the perfect amount of heat not too hot but plenty of flavor. The quesadillas was a very sizeable portion could feed a hungry man after work by itself. Love this place, will be coming back.“
