“After seeing the reviews, I was a little hesitant. We arrived in to town on a Friday night and decided we better make reservations just in case. Good thing we did because it filled fast. My husband opted for chicken parmigiana which came with a salad which he said was really good. I had prime rib which also came with a choice of baked or sweet potato and a salad. It was delicious, cooked perfectly, and tender. The wait staff was on top of everything. From bussing tables, providing service and delivering food- it was top notch.“
“We loved our stay at Clark’s Inn. The rooms were nice and clean. Very dog friendly. Free breakfast was also included for each morning. We ate breakfast everyday, and ate dinner one night. The food was amazing and service was spectacular. If we ever come back this way we will definitely stay here again.“
“If ever in SC, stop by Alleanas, Tim the owner cooks up some tasty food, the catfish was moist n very good, cooked just right, Sweet juicy shrimp ?, the fried okra, n 5 cheese n mac was the bomb. “The CLARK'S INN is a local historic icon which has stood like a gem among the encroaching hustle and bustle of the "modern " world. It is an absolutely marvelous repite for anyone heading north or coming south on the I-95!I have not had the pleasure of staying here (their Bed & Breakfast stay packages look reasonable) but every chance I get I stop to stroll through their fascinating gift shop, beautiful old hallways and relish in their antique dining areas.The bar had the friendly and efficient PAM (THANKS!!!) who brought out a delicious chicken salad sandwich on a crispy ciabatta bun. This filled me up and I could only have a bit of the delicious APPLE CRISP which I finished later from my take-away box.(THANK YOU CHEF and the kitchen staff!!!)SO happy this place has survived all these years, and especially after the COVID problems. “We pulled off many exits trying to find somewhere good to eat on our travel. Well this is the place! We had such a great time, that we will make sure we can hit it on the way back. Even met the Owner. Very nice man! Food and drinks were excellent! Wait staff was excellent! Prices were great! Definitely need to put this place on your list!“
“We ate here two nights in a row while camping next door. We were greeted and seated immediately. The menu selection is plentiful. Our server, Katy, was so pleasant, happy, and helpful that we asked for her on our second visit. The bar drinks and food were excellent. Highly recommend.“
“I was visiting my boyfriend’s family and needed a break(from him, not them) so I rolled up around 45 mins before closing and you would’ve thought they had 4 more hours! The service and the extra mile was top notch! The food…Aaaahmazing! I ordered the brim (iykyk) and initially was told they were out but the server went and found some herself and Babay…it was off the chain! I’m just mad they’re closed today lolOne of the sweet ladies made me a drink and they were cool with me just chilling there, and the prices were MORE than reasonable!“
