“Ordered chicken empanadas to go. They were delicious. Seriously they were ridiculous. Good texture, right amount of filling to dough ratio, the chicken was seasoned good and they’re 4 for $13. Definitely worth it. The wait wasn’t too bad, just lets you know it’s fresh. The staff is very friendly and bilingual so don’t be intimidated because it’s not worth missing out on this place.“

“I got in the Charleston the other day and try this place it is real good I kind of wanted to go to a place that wasn't real touristy. I had the shrimp and crawfish etouffee it was real good the cornbread was exceptionally good. The waitress was very helpful and very friendly great place will go again“

“We were the first customers in. I had 3 guests from out of state. We checked goggle maps for seafood, and you were our first pick. The food was amazing. Fish and chips, the hermit ( fish sandwich, cod I think), shrimp poboy and the old shrimp appetizer. Fast for sure, flavor amazing, service w a s great. They are tucked away in a corner. You are not likely to wonder across this gem just driving down the street. When in Summerville, I will return and bring others with me! Thank you for the experience. “Beautiful gardens and restaurant. We did wait a while before service came for drinks but was quick after that. I had the shrimp and grits and sampled some of the bisque and salads. All of it was delicious. The shrimp and grits was perfectly creamy and chewy. The tomato was flavorful and the shrimp juicy.“

“Crab Du Jour was great. They have a great selection of finger foods if you're willing to get down and dirty. As well as an assortment of on plate choices if you're not feeling the mess. Marquelle was awesome and cordial; our drinks never went empty. We were approached by multiple people as well who tended to us as needed. Pricing varies for what you want to eat. It is on the higher side of the seafood market. I, however, consider it worth since not many Cajun places do it this good.“
“The food is still the same as downtown, but the atmosphere and service aren't quite as good. We had a reservation for 2 and we were put at a super tiny table and it was pretty noisy. Just not the same experience as downtown, but still great food.“
“Got blue crab here fresh. We live in columbia SC, and I've been looking for a place to buy live blue crab close to our place, but I failed. Luckily, my husband had a company party at Charleston. Upon checking places nearby, I found this place Marvin's seafood, I'm glad I chose this place among other places, their blue crabs are fresh and comes with different sizes to choose from, they also have different fishes, price are very reasonable. “This hidden place is pure awesome. Everytime I visit Charleston I have to get at least one meal from here. They say "garlic," they mean it! The crab legs are so well done. The fish is fried to perfection. Piled high with their butter it's messy and you'll be happy for it. Prepare to wait a little while, but it's worth the wait as everything is made fresh.“

“The convenience store you have to walk through to get to the restaurant ordering window is one of the nastiest I've ever seen in my life, BUT Rai Shaun's food was fantastic. I had lima beans and rice with a big piece of hambone in it and shrimp and grits. My wife had the okra soup, fried fish and the best crab cake we've ever eaten (I had to steal a taste) at any price. Rai Shaun is a great cook and super friendly guy. Good luck and I hope you can open a sit down restaurant soon and get out of that convenience store.“
