“Went for breakfast and got a Cuban breakfast sandwich with ham and a cafe con leche and it was absolutely delicious! Love the plants in the window and the bird of paradise wallpaper. Great place for a quick bite before sightseeing in the city!“
“This placed lived up to the hype! Food was fantastic! Our server was very accommodating & provided a dairy free option for my wife that was not on the menu. Great vibe to the restaurant which was buzzing with all the diners eating there. Can’t recommend this place enough!!! Go there you won’t be disappointed!“
“I was visiting Charleston and met a friend for breakfast at Harbinger. We were there as they opened their doors on a Saturday and there was already a short line. That's a good sign! I had the avocado toast named grasshopper. It was sooo good! I highly recommend this place for its inventive combinations and delicious bread.“
“We both had a drip coffee with room for milk. The oat milk was a very strange consistency and had a weird curdling effect in our coffee. The drip coffee was okay. It was a medium/dark roast and I prefer lighter roasts so it may have just not been the coffee for me.We had a very very delicious cookie. Highly recommend getting something from the pastry case. The food that was coming out looked amazing. We just weren’t looking to eat at that time. We do plan on visiting again to try food. The actual place is unique inside and has a nice vibe to it. The bathroom is clean and decorated with the cutest posters of plant and fungi anatomy. There are not very many seats but we were still able to get one. They also have seating outside which does compensate for not having that much inside. The girl that helped us at the counter was so sweet and friendly. We look forward to coming here again in the future to try other things.“
“When you are a local in this town it's always tough to find somewhere to feel at home and loved. There are so many options to choose from and so many places don't care about customer relations. Kudu is not one of them. They all smile when i walk in, greet me with a hello and even better i can tell they all like and appreciate one another. It does feel like home and i do feel loved.“
“I love Bad Bunnies. It's more than just a coffee shop in our neighborhood--they're our family! It's so clear that Mrs. Carol and Mr. Rick care deeply for their people and this community. And the boys' hospitality toward each and every person who comes in is just astounding. They make everyone's drinks quickly and with care, making sure that their customers get to drink their coffee exactly how they like it. I move away in August and have found myself increasingly thankful for Bad Bunnies' radical hospitality. You guys never fail to make us feel at home. xxxxx“
“I thought I knew what a good breakfast biscuit tasted like, until I came here for the first time. The breakfast here puts all others to shame! Not only is the food delicious (especially the vicious biscuit itself), but the service was fast and considerate. If you are in the area this is the best place you could get breakfast from!“
“Cute place. Very packed. Went by myself and waited 40 minutes after being told it would be a 15 minute wait. I guess it took longer because I told them I had a preference to sit outside. They were very nice ladies, but the place is just overwhelmed by a lot of people on a Saturday (understandable). The hostesses prioritize larger groups first as they said they don't have single-top tables and they are usually seated at the bar, and she stressed that I could take my food to go (I really wanted to dine in). So if you come here, bring a larger group because if it's just you, you'll be waiting a bit. Another two strangers and I actually joined forces and became a party of 3 and were seated shortly after. The coffee was great! The bloody Mary was a watery pre-mix and it was mediocre but did the job. I ordered the eggs Benedict which would've been 10 out of 10, but the fried green tomatoes were pretty tough to cut through so 8:10. Otherwise, I highly recommend the dish. The fruits were really fresh. It's definitely a good stop, but don't go there during peak times or if you're looking for quick service. This is a place to relax and take your time. Skip the cocktails and go for the coffees- the barista made a d*mn good chai latte“
“We are tourist this week. We're tagging along on my husband's work trip. My daughter wanted an iced coffee. We came across the shop in our morning adventuring. We ordered an iced coffee make with almond milk and vanilla syrup. She would not stop going on how good her drink was! Thanks for thr great coffee!“
“The best place to get coffee in Charleston. The coffee is obviously outstanding, but the atmosphere, retail (the coziest sweater I own is from Sightsee!), community events, and super kind owners and staff all make this a truly special place.“
“What a WONDERFUL Restaurant!! We enjoyed a Delicious Brunch recently at East Bay Meeting House. Food was OUTSTANDING, Staff was ENGAGING, HELPFUL and FRIENDLY. This restaurant is truly a Great Experience for all, we look forward to returning in the near future.“
“Simple, counter order cafe with some seriously delicious food. The breakfast tacos were some of the best we’ve ever had, the burrito is great with the hot sauce, and the pancakes are a must (ask them to warm up the syrup though no one wants cold syrup). The menu is extensive and had tons of great options, it was hard for us to narrow down to three choices. Highly recommend!“
“The best ice cream in Charleston!! We eat here once a week (at least) and it never misses. They constantly rotate the flavors so there’s always something new to try. Friendly staff and great vibes. Just be prepared to stand in lines, especially when the weather warms up.“
“Had to wait in a short line, but the owner let us know right away. I loved the transparency. It was a cool spot to hangout in and watch the nitrogen ice cream being made right in front of our eyes. The ice cream was to die for! I can’t wait to come back!“
“Can't beat a double espresso for under $3. $2.50, in fact, which is why we went (and why we went a second time later that day) . Staff is friendly and unpretentious, along with the rest of the vibe. Bagel sandwiches looked amazing. Clean bathrooms and great outdoor seating, too. An amazing find! I hope they keep it real.“
“The only issue was the parking. The inside is bigger than it looks from the outside. There inside and outside seating. The smoothie bowl had a different taste because of the natural ingredients. My order was incorrect, and I did not say anything because I was rushing. The staff was friendly. I would go back to try more items when I am not rushing. This place is definitely a gem.“
“I loved everything about our experience at this coffee shop. Their coffee and treats were delicious and the service was outstanding! Our barista was celebrating 5 years with the coffee shop!!! I stumbled on this coffee shop thanks to the high Yelp reviews, little did I know I would have a wonderful story to tell and business to recommend to others!! I whole heartedly believe in their mission and can't wait to be back in Charleston to get more coffee and merchandise!! Best coffee shop experience in my lifetime!!!“
“I love The Daily! I have tried the breakfast sandwich, avocado toast and latte so far and all have been excellent. You order at the counter and find a seat (or take it to go). It is a small place so there is not a ton of seating inside. They do have some outside seating when the weather is nice. Definitely recommend for breakfast or lunch!“
“Delicious drive through specialty coffee drinks with lots of options. Tried their sugar cookie latte and hazelnut sweet cream cold brew and loved both. Husband got the cold pressed orange juice and loved it. We’ve been really impressed with the service. They were so friendly and welcoming both times we visited. The first time we ordered the giant chocolate croissant which normally they heat but their oven was down and they gave us a discount without asking- it was still delicious cold. Also they weren’t lying when they said it was gigantic. It is. The next time they were out of the juice my husband wanted so the gave him another and comped it again without asking. The service is truly stellar and just not something you see very often. If we lived here I would love to continue supporting this business as they not only have great products but the rare quality service that really sets them apart.“
“Thrilled with our experience at this Mt Pleasant coffee haven! The baristas go above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. We were visiting from out of town and found a local gem! The barista provided great recommendations for our iced coffees.“
“The ambiance afforded @ Blum compliments the vibe this location has! They've curated an incredible collection of wines and hand-crafted coffee drinks. Their sommelier possesses much knowledge about the wines they serve and relishes sharing that knowledge to educate clientele. The coffee bar has so many flavors & concoctions that I've never found elsewhere.Blum is not your ordinary wine/cofee bar. This is a great space, comfortable enough to pop in to do work, yet trendy enough to entertain. It is now my favorite downtown coffee shop and unofficially my 2nd office.Do yourself a favor and visit ~ you're welcome!!!Parking: This is one of the few places downtown where parking is always a non-issue!Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome here, there were 2 families with children present while we were there.“
“I was so excited to visit this bagel shop but a bit disappointed in the fact that they had zero gf options. This eliminates many ppl from being able to enjoy this location. Toby’s bagel shop it is for me. It’s nice to have a gf option for those in our family that cannot have gluten. The place was nice and smelled amazing ! Awesome that they cook on a fire! I did like my sea salt Carmel late!#holycityfitblonde on instagramDietary restrictions: This is NOT the place to visit if you have allergies, they offer zero accommodations.“
“Best coffee shop around. First of all, the coffee is high quality and tasty, & the size of the large, medium, and small actuality is that. So many local places offer a medium/large and its tiny as can be or they only have one size and it's small but the price reflects a large size (Huriyali etc) It's nice during these days of shrinkflation to actually get what you pay for and on point in taste/quality. The staff is always friendly and efficient. ❤️“
“I absolutely love every experience that I’ve had at vintage coffee in Mount Pleasant! The avocado toast is beyond incredible, sweet, salty, and definitely unique, it’s a masterpiece of flavor. Coupled with a great service that makes for a fantastic place to meet friends, family and clients. Awesome place to have coffee outside and enjoy the sunny weather..“
“I come here as often as I can to either get the chai or matcha tea. It is amazing along with their customer service, they always make you feel welcomed. I don't even like most vegetables but their Veggie Panini changed my mind. Maccaro is also a great place to sit down and study, they encourage it!“
“Five stars are handed out pretty easily on Google Reviews (I'm guilty myself sometimes), but this place deserves it. My wife and I ordered lattes and breakfast sandwiches. The lattes were good and what you would expect, but the breakfast sandwiches were OUTSTANDING! It has been over a week and we are still talking about it. Our kids ordered croissants and one of the workers even brought out two extra mini croissants for them to try. Totally unexpected, but very thoughtful.“
“Really liked the relaxed atmosphere of the cafe. Service was pretty quick. Bit confusing where to order because people were standing around waiting for their order. I ordered sticky bun pastry and a latte. The sticky bun had lots of pecans. Really buttery and flaky. Very large so I had a hard time eating it all but I powered through because it was so delicious! Latte was as I expected. This is a great place to stop while checking out the museums in downtown Charleston. Cafe is attached to Mills House Hotel.“
“I drank the coffee and ascended to heaven, all jokes aside this coffee shop is great me and my daughter had the chai and they turned out great and tasted lovely. They have a variety of choices of drinks and the food looked good too. The atmosphere is nice I thought that the red that i saw from the photos wouldn’t look that good but when I went there in person it had a really productive vibe to it. The boys that were attending the register and making drinks were great and did a great job with our drinks. REMEMBER TO SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES. Would choose this over Starbucks any day. ALSO THEIR DOG FRIENDLY ?“
“Pastries are delightful! Cute assortment of desserts that are indulgent and not too sweet. One star off bc seating is tight so you have to hover and wait for ppl to leave a table. We went at 5pm when Google said it was "less busy than usual" and we still had to wait about 15 mins on line to order, another 5 mins to get our food and drinks, and the whole time there were no extra seats. We then had to hover around holding hot coffee and tea mugs with a plate & fork of dessert.“
“Solid coffee at a reasonable price which was surprising given it is located in Charleston Place. The iced latte was smooth and creamy and very enjoyable. My wife enjoyed the iced americano which I noticed they topped off with bottled Fiji water (wow). Service can be a bit slow but it's to be expected when your coffee is well made.“
“My roommates and I got our nails done around the corner and when we were walking by, we decided to head in… Although they closed 15 minutes prior to us coming in, they were more than happy to serve us! They gave us a free box of donuts to try each flavor… I will definitely be back! everyone was so nice and welcoming. We are so excited to try it again!!! Everything was amazing and fresh ?“
“The best coffee and light cafe style breakfast on James Island without a doubt. The only reviews below 5 stars are people who were expecting gross fast food drip but got excellent pour over instead.Parking: Plenty of parking in the grocery store strip mall lot.Kid-friendliness: The staff was lovely to my kids and I feel 100% comfortable sending my kids in there to order alone.“
“I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Second State Coffee in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The vanilla latte was a delightful treat, and the overall atmosphere, combined with excellent service, made it a five-star visit. Highly recommended for coffee lovers!“
“A friend recommended this coffee shop and I’m so glad she did! The flavors are delicious and not overbearing at all. The lavender flavor is something that often is too strong or tastes artificial but that was NOT the case here! I got white chocolate and peppermint, my friend got lavender and white chocolate, and our other friend got toasted marshmallows and banana. All three were amazing, seriously!! We will be back.“
“Seabiscuit Cafe is a favorite of mine when I'm in the Isle of Palms area. Due to the smallee size of the cafe and limited tables chances are you'll have to submit your name for the waitlist but service is swift and efficient. There is outdoor seating and benches for those waiting for their tables so not to worry. Drink in the salt air as you are yards away from the Atlantic Ocean. Soups, salads, burgers are on the menu of course so everyone will be happy. By the way~ breakfast all day here for those who find themselves craving midday egg plate and hash brown plate! I love the ambience of the place too~ like a little coastal cottage that fits in perfectly with the beachy atmosphere that is uniquely Isle of Palms. Nautical items and mermaids dot the walls-- adding to the rustic "beach cafe" setting. A great pre- beach day stop if you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast and you'll find yourself retuning every time!“
“The front porch is my absolute favorite!I am there every morning , as are my husband and my team.We love the great coffees and lattes accompanied by warm and soft breakfast bagels . It is always extremely clean ? and cozy. The dine in mugs are definitely making you feel at home. Employees are always smiling and making us feel welcome ?“
“This may be the best coffee around. The iced cold brew latte is perfection with smooth and strong coffee, coffee ice cubes!!, and perfect amount of sweetness (not overly sweet :)Not to mention the breakfast bagel sandwich, which is deeelishhhh!!“
“Get the Hans special coffee don't know how he makes it he won't tell but it's chocolatyVegetarian options: Get the tomato and fresh mozzarella with pesto on foccacciaDietary restrictions: Locally sourced as much as possibleKid-friendliness: They employ half of WandoWheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp“
“Vegetarian options: A lot of options for vegetarians. Vegan cookies are insanely good. Cashew icing is amazing. Very filling.Dietary restrictions: Most options than I've found in Charleston for vegan goodies. Vegan cookies are insanely good. Cashew icing is amazing. Very filling.“
“I want to start this off by letting anyone reading this know, I loveeeeeee the taste of Mudhouse coffee. The mocha latte I get with oat milk is PHENOMENAL every time!I had just one issue coming in today. When I was handed the 16oz latte (which is pretty pricey at $8.88 but I knew what I was paying especially on King st) my coffee didn’t feel like a “glass half full” at all…This photo is before I even took a sip…With how expensive the coffees are here, I just hope next time it’s filled up in the 16oz cup. I still love coming here, but a little disappointed this round:(“
“I’ve been in many coffee shops around my life, but there’s something about Clerks that just makes it THE place to go for coffee in Charleston.Baristas are super nice! Specially Haley, that day I couldn’t tip (money’s running low) but she was still so nice! Came the next month to tip her double for the same incredible coffee!Cannot recommend this place enough! 10/10“
“This place is great! It's colorful and whimsical outside and inside! They have a room upstairs available for parties. The donuts are made to order so nice and warm when you eat them. There's several to choose from and can create your own! They also participate in food delivery service. Check them out!“
“What a great little find. Extremely friendly and courteous and the coffee was delicious. The decor is very comfortable and has a very nice 'soft' 'calm' feeling about it. It took me by surprise actually as it's in a strip mall and I was expecting just a generic coffee shop. Whoever designed it and runs it....well done!“
“Ran over the other day right before close, had no idea what to order and couldn’t read menu, the print was a tad small. Young man working the register ran through all their offerings and welcomed us to sit and eat inside even after their business hours. Absolutely recommend if you are around the hospital area.“
“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The drinks, food, service and overall vibe were as welcoming and down-to-earth as I’ve always had in NY. Our server Leah was patient, suggested great drinks, and the owner (Bryn) herself was running with the team. I had to let her know how amazing everything was and that I can’t wait to become a regular! The decor and creative ambiance will keep you entertained as well as the upbeat and dynamic music selection. We tasted about half the menu, but held back in anticipation of our next visit. Don’t miss this gem of the city…you won’t forget it!Parking: Adjacent to the restaurant. Perfect location!“
“Love this place! I come to get a treat haha. I've had the chocolate & crème croissant and the apple croissant. The chocolate was very good. I'm a chocoholic so I just wish there was more inside! The apple croissant was so so good! The apple filling was just the right amount of sweet and the croissant was so buttery and flaky. The service is great, it's very calm and welcoming inside with the French music softly playing. It's a great place to hang out or do work.“
“This authentic French bakery is the real deal! As soon as I walked in this bakery I felt like I was transported into another country. The pastries are truly a work of art! The almond croissant was hands down the best pastry I have ever had… so good I’m still left day dreaming about it. The Le Chambertin bakery was one of the top highlights of our trip to Charleston! If you are in the area it is a must! Thank you for an unforgettable experience, we will be back! :)“
“Such a great idea! So happy there’s an amazing cafe and wine bar out there with cats from shelters to give love to and adopt! The staff are very friendly and nice to talk to, great place overall! We need more places like this around to help cats find their home and to have a space to roam and be loved onin replacement to them being in a small kennel at a animal shelter“
“Let me verse this by saying….this was my first ever time trying Co-Op which was super random being that it was through Uber Eats. I ordered the Italian with a side of red wine vinegar chips. Ordered it at around 1130 am and it didn’t show up until close to 1:00 pm. I don’t fault Co Op at all for this. I totally get it. Uber Eats was behind in drop offs and ditched out $5 bucks for their lateness. Those Holy City red wine vinegar chips didn’t come with either….just to note. Again, mistakes happen. We’re all human.However…..That Sammie. Holy moly. ? It was late, cheese cooled and sandwich barely warm but dang….she was delectable AF! ?? Totally amazing and deliciously prepared. The flavors were top notch. Panini bread….Italian meats, on point. I honestly expected a soggy less than palatable sandwich. It was an experience worth mentioning. ps. can’t wait to come back for the frose! ?? Y’all are doing amazing things!! Keep up the incredible work ?“
“My wife found this awesome little place on Sullivans island and we absolutely loved it. Very coastal and very pink with lots of delicous options on the menu. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito which tasted fresh and filled me up. And my wife had the avocado toast. This place is famous for frosè, which we didn’t get to try since we were traveling but look forward to trying soon when we return! Highly recommend their coffee to.“
