“We were the first customers in. I had 3 guests from out of state. We checked goggle maps for seafood, and you were our first pick. The food was amazing. Fish and chips, the hermit ( fish sandwich, cod I think), shrimp poboy and the old shrimp appetizer. Fast for sure, flavor amazing, service w a s great. They are tucked away in a corner. You are not likely to wonder across this gem just driving down the street. When in Summerville, I will return and bring others with me! Thank you for the experience. “Very laid back atmosphere. Food was great and service was very good. I had a burger and battered fries. I was definitely not disappointed. The burger was juicy and well cooked. Also, the fried mushrooms were delicious, and the serving size was very ample. The beignets were yummy, too.I will definitely return whenever I am in the area.“
“I am a couch potato old lady and dislike exercise. Therefore, I was shocked at how much fun I had learning how to play pickle ball! The instructor was helpful and full of enthusiasm. I enjoyed the clinic for beginners, the beer, and food. They make their own pickles!The bathroom was sparkly clean with soft paper towels. I recommend The Pickle Bar for everyone, the game is so easy to learn and play.“
“Went here for a friend that is a barista back home… I was able to find something to eat for all of us and the blueberry lemonade was delicious! The Nutella muffin was a huge hit for my toddler. There is outside as well as inside seating. Everyone was friendly, too! The salad portion is large and filling and delicious! Definitely a must go.“
“We love this place! The ice cream is delicious and the customer service is usually pretty good. Tonight we showed up at 7:30pm (they close at 8) and the tables were already packed up for the night. I asked the staff and they said the seating was already closed for the night. Which normally wouldn’t be a big deal but it’s very hard for our two year old to eat her ice cream in her car seat. I get wrapping things up 5-10 minutes before closing but 30 minutes before?? Great ice cream if you’re looking for something to go.“
“I was very impressed with Bakers BBQ! My wife and I tried it for the first time tonight and everything was amazing. They were closing down a few minutes early because they had been slow however they were more than willing to serve us and allow us to eat in the dining room. The Food was great! I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, rice and hash, and Mac and cheese. My wife had the pulled pork plate with Mac and beans. I am so glad we finally tried this awesome place! “Erica, Josie and Alex are extraordinary. We don't get by there hardly ever anymore, but we went on a 90 mile trip today to get Matzo ball soup for my wife's employers, who are under the weather. The team at the deli always goes above and beyond to facilitate the needs of the customer and the food is always top notch.“
“This is my honest review after taking a chance on this place. The bad reviews had me scared, but I'm glad we came. We had a sweet waitress who kept our glasses full and kept checking on us. I got the pbj burger and macaroni salad and it was delicious! My husband got the yeti burger and tater tots and was pleasantly surprised. I would come again.“

“It is an old ice house and a very comfortable feeling inside. The hamburgers are the best we have ever gotten here. Waitress was attentive and personable. “Was here last Friday. I totally enjoyed the ambiance. The food was really good. My sis had a hiccup, due to her own tastebuds…?, and ownership was quick, helpful, and accommodating.I will say that the fried rice didn’t seem like the fried rice I traditionally expect at an Asian restaurant, but it had flavor and I was able to reheat it well the next day.Plus, I was singing along to sooo many 70’s, 80’s , and 90’s music. “This is absolutely the best welcome home after living in Austin for 3 years to taste the brisket coming out of this restaurant literally had my tongue on fiesta. Louise was there I couldn't have asked for a better experience and one of the things that I have to tell you about service and restaurants is the time they take to make sure you get a great experience come check out the margaritas and the atmosphere I will tell you the casa vera was off the chain! Thank God this is right near the house I will be having this at least once a week!“

Aaron came over to check on us and he was super friendly and professional. We had shrimp and grits and chicken and waffle. The food was fresh and tasted AMAZING and it was clean. I highly recommend.“
