First time here and the employees were great and patient with me. My cousins used to go there all the time and they told me about the place. We were in the area so, we stopped in. The sauce they have to put on the BBQ really enhanced it. I really enjoyed the whole meal. Had the small BBQ plate which includes, hash, rice, BBQ and corn dodgers(hush puppies). Looking forward to going back.
Ward's BBQ is one of my top 5 BBQ restaurants. The to go plates are large and certainly give you your money's worth. I love the meat, cole slaw is very good and the hush puppies are some of my favorites. The hash served over rice is good, but not my favorite. Overall a good place when you need some comfort food.
