The food portions are great. Kids size meals are more than enough for adults. Ordered french toast for my 5 year old from the kids menu and thought that would include only one slice of french toast and was pleasantly surprised to receive two slices. We have been coming to the Golden Egg for several years the reason why is simple. The staff. From the moment you walk in the door the hostess is friendly and welcoming. Now since we’ve been coming, they remember us and treat us like we are family. Our daughter has special needs and they are more than accommodating to her and our family. Dined here twice. First time, we tried the omelettes (just okay) but loved their home fries and cinnamon roll! Second time, tried the chipped beef and loved it. Our resort gave us a 10% off coupon (and the restaurant applied the 10% off to our free waters- we did question it & was told that's how it works?)! You definitely should order the cinnamon roll.
