“I have to start out by saying this place brings you back to your southern roots from the moment you walk in the door. Such a cool spot with local artists painting on the wall and some really old and neat decor. I have had their breakfast here several times and their Driver omelette is amazing. Today we went for lunch and heard that they are famous for their tomato pie. After trying it, I can definitely see why!!! It is a quiche baked into a flakey pie crust (like chicken pot pie) with sliced oven roasted homegrown tomatoes seasoned to perfection. This is the best thing I have ordered from here by far. I had Mac and cheese which was ok but their collared greens and sweet potato casserole were great! The servers are great with fast southern style service that makes you feel like you are part of the family. If you are wanting a great breakfast or lunch with amazing food and people, The Hungry Drover is the place to be! Make sure before you leave, you buy a homemade cinnamon roll that is so sweet and fresh and the size of a dinner plate. Highly recommend“

“I didn’t take a picture of what I had because honestly I was starving but GOD!!!! It was heaven on earth.I loved this place, all the employees were so nice and kind, even though the place was full all of them were attentive for everyone and also the food was ready in a few minutes.Won’t forget about the price. “Wow! The people are great here! Big smiles, greetings and I am a big fan of the newer dish called Hash. They allowed me to replace the bacon with tomatoes and it is so delicious. I also like a signature dish called The Squawking Goat that was featured on the Food Network many years ago. On a regular old day, their grits are great on their own. I would recommend this place and if you are a local, they have a Coffee Club for $35 for the year. The best value for me because sometimes on a busy morning I fly by and grab a coffee to go. The atmosphere here is lovely, older people, families, cultural diversity and a clear view of the kitchen and being able to watch the biscuits being made is always a nice moment to witness. I have been coming here for about three years now and probably tried everything by now, waffles, fritaffles, biscuits and gravy, vegetarian gravy, smash browns with salsa, Blue Grass grits bowl....just really good food.“

“Let me tell you this place is GREAT! We were greeted at the door with a very warm welcome and awesome customer service experience for first time customers! We didn't know what to expect. The cashier explained all the opinions and food very well. I ordered the Squaking Goat - it was simply amazing! The chicken was so delicious and the fried goat cheese on top was superb! It was all coverred in a delicious pepper jelly that was just a perfect tie in for everything! My wife got the Retro palte with eggs, bacon and smashbrowns. I tried the smashbrowns and must say they were very very good! When we go back i will ge an order of them myself. The drinks were self serve and the sitting was good, not many people were there when we were there. It is a little pricy but i will say it was worth every penny. I can't say that about a lot of breakfast/biscuit focused restaunts. We will be back and cannot wait!“

“I came down to see my sister 3 days after Christmas. The day that I was leaving to go back home, I wanted to find a place to eat breakfast. I used Google maps and it showed that this place was nearby. I went there and had a Texas farmhouse omelet with home fries. They added cheddar cheese onions and peppers to it for about 3 more dollars. The food and coffee was fantastic. I must say though what impress me the most was the service. My server was Katie. This is the kind of person that every restaurant wants to interact with customers. She greeted me when I walked in the door, sat me at a table and waited on me. She was very pleasant and smiled. And she was very competent at her job. Marvelous job Katie.“

“We go here about once a month for breakfast. Our food has been very good. Candy always waits on us and she is great! Another waitress (I call her "The Cackler" because she has a loud, disruptive, and cackling laugh) often stands around talking with clients, does not seems to do her job, has this horrible "cackle" of a laugh, and her personality takes over the restaurant. She is obnoxious and should be disciplined.“

“I will say my experience here wasn't bad at all and the food was pretty good, but I pd over $15.00 for it and my order was very simple, and there was nothing extra or special thrown in. Butter and sugar is all. I REALLY thought that was a bit much. Unless there's some steak thrown in somewhere there. Lol!“

“Had a great breakfast at Eggs Up Grill in Greenville, South Carolina. A very cute inviting restaurant. They had a really great breakfast and brunch menu with a few alcoholic options. The service was stellar. Everyone was super helpful and kept asking us if we needed anything. The coffee was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and grits omelet which was out of this world. It had shrimp and Swiss cheese with green pepper. Outrageous!! The home fries that came with it were perfectly seasoned. The chocolate chip pancakes were also delicious. Full of chocolate chips!! We also had the shrimp and grits bowl and that was to die for!! I wish I had a second stomach so I could’ve eaten more things. Will definitely go back!“

“Our waitress was amazing! It's sad to even see people of retired ages being forced to work. This sweet southern woman was so kind and so patient...I left her a large tip and she cried. You never know what someone is going through! I will return to sit in her section and continue to be her customer on Sundays. Bless her heart. If you go here, look for her. You can't miss her. “On our way home, my friend and I went out for breakfast at the waffle house. The location in Greenville was pretty busy. We had a nice little girl as our waitress. She came right then to get our order. I had the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs and ham. It was really tasty and good at the same time. My friend got pork chops, eggs, and a waffle. It looked so good. She said it was also tasty. It was the first time I have seen two cooks working at the same time in a while. I know now that is the best breakfast spot on that side of Greenville. “It is my understanding that they may be getting rid of the punch rewards card that allows customers to get a free meal after seven purchases. That may be a mistake as far as we are concerned. My wife and eat there more frequently because of the rewards card. If it is taken away, even though we love the food and the great service, we may not eat there as frequently. Thought you would want to know. We are frequent customers at Eggs Up in both the Moore and Greer restaurants.“

“We love this location in Taylors SC...the wait staff (especially Tyra) and even the cooks are friendly and work very hard. The food is always fantastic. The issue is they are ALWAYS understaffed. The manager or owner needs to do a better job of making sure there is more than one waiter or waitress there at all times. These folks work their tails off, but I've seen people get impatient with them. NOT THEIR FAULT. All of them are absolutely wonderful. So manager and or owner...do better. You have great people working for you, but they can always go down the street to any of the many other restaurants in town if you keep overworking them. And get the booths fixed...there are at least two where the seats have collapsed into a hole in the middle. I feel like a toddler sitting in those holes!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available.“
