“Great variety of well-seasoned & cooked food all day long. The service is great, accommodating & attentive friendly staff. The ambience is casual almost family-like and very welcoming at all times of the day. Our go-to for breakfast a couple of times a week, and lunch for groups of friends.“
“We came to Greenville for a group 60th birthday celebration. Sassafras was our dinner choice. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and we got a free birthday dessert! We will definitely return here if we are back in Greenville!“
“I love Sobys and always have a great time and enjoy the food . Everything went great , we had reservations for 4 , the food was excellent as always, I had the fried chicken with honey sauce and it was so tender and cooked perfectly and I tried a fried green tomato and a crab cake and they were delicious too and for desert I shared a white chocolate banana cream pie , so good !“
“I have to start out by saying this place brings you back to your southern roots from the moment you walk in the door. Such a cool spot with local artists painting on the wall and some really old and neat decor. I have had their breakfast here several times and their Driver omelette is amazing. Today we went for lunch and heard that they are famous for their tomato pie. After trying it, I can definitely see why!!! It is a quiche baked into a flakey pie crust (like chicken pot pie) with sliced oven roasted homegrown tomatoes seasoned to perfection. This is the best thing I have ordered from here by far. I had Mac and cheese which was ok but their collared greens and sweet potato casserole were great! The servers are great with fast southern style service that makes you feel like you are part of the family. If you are wanting a great breakfast or lunch with amazing food and people, The Hungry Drover is the place to be! Make sure before you leave, you buy a homemade cinnamon roll that is so sweet and fresh and the size of a dinner plate. Highly recommend“
“Simply said: outstanding EVERYTHING. 3 totally different types of guests around, all of us enjoying the EVERYTHING. There was the group of 3 couples having a blast. Behind us 3 German business men totally in their zone apparently discussing business. And us in a romantic birthday celebration. BRAVO PATTERSON KITCHEN.“
“One of the best restaurants for chicken of any kind; it's always tender and juicy. Sides are also delicious. And the staff is very helpful and attentive. The Chicken Pot Pie is one of my favorites -- and I usually take one home for another meal.“
“I cannot believe I've been enjoying this place for so long and haven't written a review. The food is uniformly outstanding with daily entrees. The price beats most meat and threes. Breakfast is excellent and you really can't beat the service.“
“We have lunch about one time per week at A & P. The food is always great, hot, and tasty. My favorite is the marinated chicken with collard greens. The service is consistently good. The same girls and cooks are there everyday. This tells me that the working owner/manager that we see during every visit knows how to treat his employees. His employees' loyalty and good service are a testimony to him.We also like the new menu with the new items. We highly recommend A & P Restaurant in Greer for lunch.Vegetarian options: Salads and vegetables are on the menu.“
“On Friday April 5,2024 we were honored to be graced with a special new friend at Sticky Fingers in Greenville SC. The SBS “Sandbox Sisters from Charlotte NC were vacationing, it was late and we were hungry. 9 beautiful sisters met Daniel. He was courteous, professional, friendly, an overall amazing gentleman. Service with a beautiful smile. Shaking margaritas and giving the absolute best customer service we experienced that night. He’s our “NEW BEST FRIEND “ Daniel thank you for being you????“
“Wow! The people are great here! Big smiles, greetings and I am a big fan of the newer dish called Hash. They allowed me to replace the bacon with tomatoes and it is so delicious. I also like a signature dish called The Squawking Goat that was featured on the Food Network many years ago. On a regular old day, their grits are great on their own. I would recommend this place and if you are a local, they have a Coffee Club for $35 for the year. The best value for me because sometimes on a busy morning I fly by and grab a coffee to go. The atmosphere here is lovely, older people, families, cultural diversity and a clear view of the kitchen and being able to watch the biscuits being made is always a nice moment to witness. I have been coming here for about three years now and probably tried everything by now, waffles, fritaffles, biscuits and gravy, vegetarian gravy, smash browns with salsa, Blue Grass grits bowl....just really good food.“
“Let me tell you this place is GREAT! We were greeted at the door with a very warm welcome and awesome customer service experience for first time customers! We didn't know what to expect. The cashier explained all the opinions and food very well. I ordered the Squaking Goat - it was simply amazing! The chicken was so delicious and the fried goat cheese on top was superb! It was all coverred in a delicious pepper jelly that was just a perfect tie in for everything! My wife got the Retro palte with eggs, bacon and smashbrowns. I tried the smashbrowns and must say they were very very good! When we go back i will ge an order of them myself. The drinks were self serve and the sitting was good, not many people were there when we were there. It is a little pricy but i will say it was worth every penny. I can't say that about a lot of breakfast/biscuit focused restaunts. We will be back and cannot wait!“
“Wonderful Easter Brunch, from service to cuisine. Best Strawberry Basil Mimosa, She-Crab Soup and Shrimp & Grits...and special end to meal with Peanut Butter Pie and Strawberry Shortcake, a la Stella's?❤️. Special thanks to Ella for the great attention.“
“Dietary restrictions: Had beef stew with carrots and potatoes, and Mac and cheese. Nothing was spicy or greasy it did not bother my stomach. Peach cobbler was just the right serving. Loved it all. Took cheeseburger plate home to husband, he enjoyed.“
“Nate was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He definitely made us feel at home once we told him it was our first time. “You come to Stax for the nostalgia and history. Servers are great. Food is good, not great. But you meet your friends here on a weekend morning to share laughs and memories, that's why you go to Stax. Stax is a welcome throwback to a previous time and experience.“
“We’ve used OJ’s for several large orders for repast, graduation parties, & anniversary parties. Mr. Elliott has always been courteous, professional, and prompt when taking our orders and delivering to our car. We Appreciate OJ’s for their service and Awesome Soul Food!“
“Greetings! Tupelo Honey stands out to me as an amazing slice of modern southern cooking in the heart of Greenville, SC. I found my way here via hotel front desk recommendation, and I am happy, and surprised, to share I've taken my three breakfasts/brunches this weekend at this location. It was worth EVERY meal, and I don't regret the opportunity cost of what I might have missed going to other places. When it's this good, the next places could be a let down...I'm sustaining success and I loved every bite. Here's the breakdown: First of all- space is immaculate, cozy, and welcoming. First Win- The coffee- rich, full of flavor, hint of smoke, and a reason alone to come if you, like me, take coffee seriously. Second Win- Smothered Chicken...simply stunning dish featuring their fried boneless chicken thighs, perfect gravy, and amazing sides. Second only to Michie Tavern in Charlotte, VA. Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Grilled Broccolini, and Parmesan rosemary potatoes sublime. Third Win- Had to have the smothered chicken again came back the next day. Did not disappoint at all! Fourth Win- I asked an Uber drive for local food leads and he recommends the Shrimp and Grits, the dish I wanted the second day but couldn't get past the smothered chicken. The first bite confirmed I was in food Nirvana...and so glad I came back for the third time...and I'm charmed! Behind great food, are the great people. Hats off to Bo, Clay, and Alyssa...they're pros and you'll love their on point service, genuine smiles, and charm. Until next time...tk“
“I visited Brick Street Cafe this past Friday while in Greenville,SC for lunch. I had the vegetable quiche and it was fair. It had been over baked and almost cool when served. They are known for their cakes and tried their sweet potato cupcake. It was delicious. So yes for the cake!Parking: Park behind the building!“
“Denise and her team did a wonderful job at our daughter's wedding this past weekend. They are professional and experienced not just at running a top shelf experience with a nice presentation, but having the flexibility to meet unique dietary needs of guests. Oh yes, and the food was yummy!“

“I ended up here with a coworker recently. Last minute, she wanted to change our lunch date to here. I'm glad we did. We got there before the lunch crowd really kicked in.The staff was very kind and friendly. I was able to sample a little of the salad I was interested in before making my decision. I already had my options in mind before arriving.I ended up getting one scoop of Kickin' Kay Lynne, and one scoop of Sassy Scotty. After tasting both, next time I will opt for two of the Kickin' Kay Lynne. It was delicious, tasty, and fresh. As we ate lunch, the staff walked around and continued to be wonderful. Our visit was such a pleasant experience.“
“I truly LOVE chicken salad. Having choices was great. We tried two types and the original was best.. It's not cheap but doesn't need to be. The food is good. We git our threw a drive thru, so I can't comment on the service. 100% try it.“
“The food is very good. I was in the dining area during a extremely busy time. My server did his utmost to make sure that everybody was taken care of. He was very efficient.. I also love to shop in the lobby. I am especially fond of the snow globes.“
“The Mason Jar came highly recommended to us by friends who visit frequently. We ventured here on a Friday evening and instantly fell in love. The atmosphere was great, service was great, and the food was incredible! We got the shrimp and grits, chicken tenders, and a patty melt. Oh, and we started with fried pickles. Amazing!“

“Chicken salad in many flavors, always fresh and delicious. The have soups of the day and different options for bread choices. I’d give five stars, but sometimes the fruit leaves a little to be desired in terms of freshness.Vegetarian options: Salad, some soups, Mac and cheese, fruit salad.Dietary restrictions: The chicken salad is easy to identify for allergens. They have a chart, and are happy to help.Parking: It’s crowded at lunch, but I can always find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly and they have a kid menu and high chairs.“
“Holiday Inn Express & Suites Greenville-I-85 & Woodruff Rd, an IHG Hotel on Woodruff Road in Greenville is a great place to go for a quality stay. I have been impressed with their level of customer service. Good overall experience every time I have been here.“
“The food was delicious and well-prepared, and the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The ambiance of the restaurant was also very nice, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The menu had a good variety of options, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at this hotel restaurant and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.“
“All stars filled! This place is immaculate for starters! The owner and staff were very attentive. And if you're wondering.. yes, they fry all the egg rolls in the same oil! This does not alter the taste!! To my surprise! I also ordered the shrimp bowl which comes with rice and broccoli.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Inside is great! The to go shop needs improvement, or just more workers manning the front. Waited about 10 minutes before anyone even came out to acknowledge we were even there. I don't recommend ordering to go if you're in a hurry.“
“This was my 1st visit , it was great ! I love going to a buffet 'cause i dont have to decide and order i can look around and try a lil of everything ! The fried chicken livers were the bomb ! The sweet potato soufflé with marshmallows was soo good ! Green tomato buffet is gona be one of my once a week stops , thats how good it was , my waitress was super nice and she kept my tea w/lemon topped off ! Thats always a plus ! “Friendly place, good food, and good service. This is a homey Southern "meat and three," but you can choose how many sides you want. The sides include not only vegetables but nice rich macaroni & cheese as well as the dessert of the day, such as banana pudding. The servings are generous; for example, my husband had plenty of turkey with his turkey and dressing.Parking: We arrived at a busy time, a little after noon. We found nearby parking, but we might not have if we had been much later--not sure.“
