“Great place to grab snacks or food. It’s been years since I’ve traveled to Japan and it was cool seeing drinks, snacks and ramen that I was eating in Japan. I ordered some food here it was great. I ordered the Gyu Don and Mackerel Bento. Average plate is $8 great price’s. I highly recommend this place. Prices for the snack might be a little elevated but they are legit snacks from Japan. “Celebrated our 1st year anniversary and it was a lovely experience. Calvin and Veronica made sure we had a good time here. We set a reservation and anticipated the sushi chef per the pictures to be there, but we were informed due to COVID, he was required to retire. It appeared that there were college students rolling sushi instead. However, the sushi was rolled well and LOVED that the nigiri included the little dab of wasabi under the fish, which is the correct way to roll sushi. Another fact that made me really happy to hear is they cut and prepare the fish in house, that's cool! Calvin brought out this white soy sauce for the sushi and that paired so well! My only complaint was they do not sell beer or liquor at this time as they were in the process of updating their license. Green tea is just fine though. If you want ACTUAL authentic Japanese sushi cuisine, you have to come here!!“

He was right beside us at another table-grill. I would recommend it, it you have money to spend. It's a different atmosphere there.“

Friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome right away.The spicy teriyaki chicken and orange chicken are each tasty, and I’m looking forward to trying a spicy orange chicken in a future visit. Brown rice (often dry or bland at other restaurants) was cooked perfectly and provided a soft, flavorful contrast to the orange chicken. Yakisoba noodles covered with spicy teriyaki chicken was equally good. These folks know how to make food! The teriyaki sauce is truly something special — sweet and savory perfectly balanced.We look forward to more teriyaki meals from this spot in future!“

“A small group of us went in and the food was very good and hot, however I don’t like being made pay a gratitude before service is rendered. We were charged a $20 gratuity and I don’t feel that one refill and removing a few plates was worth $20. The staff was friendly but other customers were NOT! Some very rude. Won’t be returning simply because I don’t like paying for I don’t receive! Earn it, don’t just take it!!! I was a server for over 25 years and I tip good service very good! I also tip sorry service with 2 pennies!“
