“You wouldn't believe how good the food is here! Locals know...whenever we eat here people are coming in and out for the regular stuff. It is fast food but with a wider range of options. Plus there is food in coolers and freezers that you can buy to take home or take to feed a large crowd. The burgers are the best in town. They also have amazing chicken. Lots of good options for a quick lunch break. Lots of options for a meal with the kids. A bunch of amazing, unique, homemade desserts (cookies, bars, cheesecake, pie, kuchen...)”

“This place is one of the few "mom & pop / neighborhood bar and grill" places left. It remains one of the hallmarks of our hometown small businesses.When I came back to visit my dad, he asked if I'd like to go out for lunch, and have the best burgers in town. Of course I thought he was mildly exaggerating. Well you guessed it, I was wrong and dad was right."I should have listened to him more often".That day not only did I have a great burger, but I had a great memory with my dad.”

Parking: This location has limited parking but it's in the perfect position for drive-thru and they are quick and friendly in their drive-thru I use it often.”

“I am usually a Starbucks regular but, as we were passing here on a road trip, we decided to park and visit. Inside there is plenty of comfortable seating. The service was friendly and prompt and the coffee was good. I will use this chain again.”

“Absolute best pizza I've ever had! We came in when it wasn't so busy so they were able to make us a chicago style pizza. It takes longer to prepare so it seems they usually only do them certain days of the week. Very kind and helpful service, nice waiting/dining area and very clean. I think I'd make a trip to Aberdeen again just for this pizza. They are masterminds back there! Highly recommend stopping in for it, maybe next time we will try some of the sides that looked just as appetizing”

“The Flame has been a family go-to for years and years! From birthdays to New Years, it's the best place to celebrate and have a fantastic meal! I have NEVER had a bad experience there. The steaks are always done to perfection and SO tasty! (Pass on Mavericks if it's steak you want! ) The side items that come with the meal are always great. (If you're a fan-have the French dressing on your salad--it's the BEST!) Freshly baked bread always accompanies your meal.

The wait staff is fabulous. They take orders quickly, and are always willing to answer questions. The food usually arrives very quickly, and it's very hot and fresh.

Another nice amenity is the full service bar! They are always accurate and quick with recommendations.

My only 3 complaints: their prices have gone up significantly since Covid; you no longer get the complimentary onion ring with your steak; and they took shrimp cocktail off the menu! Grrrrr.

Overall, for a great meal, check out The Flame! It's a true local gem.

Btw, the take out service is just as good as dining in. They include everything you would get at the table, minus the silverware! Down to the butter even!

Parking: If you're lucky enough to get a parking spot in front, or off to the side of the restaurant, you've struck gold! Also, there's only 1 disabled parking spot next to the restaurant. Much more parking can be found across the street in the old train depot parking lot!”

“Pizzas are good, hit and miss with being to greasy or dry. Pizzas from Godfather's Express are made on time and consistent amounts of toppings. I reccomend.”

“Walked in with a table of 6, they seated us quickly for hibachi during a busy time. We were visiting from out of state, and wanted a nice dinner. Atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Service was great. Our server was so attentive and kind. Our chef was wonderful, and his food was exceptional. Oh my we have a place similar back home but there was so much flavor in our food, the rice was soo good. I was very impressed. Will definitely return when we come back.”

“Love the Staff !! ...and the sandwiches. Amanda was "listening" on my 1st visit to this JJ's. I was on my half hr lunch break, new to this city, & had to circle around JJ's building twice because of construction.I was frustrated & mumbled so, as I ordered...No sooner had I ordered & paid & Amanda "handed" me my sandwich !! My jaw dropped !! She was INSTANTLY MY HERO.I called that store later - off work - to ask her name to mention her specifically in a JJ's Survey I received.The 2 male employees were chuckling about my "pleasant grumpiness" & that instantly elevated my entire mood !! All 3 of these employees are STARS in my book. Kind, caring, COOL people working & helping others. It's WHAT WE DO !! (P.S. I'm an RN)”

“Haven't been to a Taco Johns in years. Food was very tasty, service was professional and other than prices being somewhat marginal value wise, was probably the best fast food in recent months.
