“The atmosphere and service were excellent. I ordered the prime rib and lots of blubber. Hardly any meat to eat. My horseradish sauce seemed very weak in flavor. Sweet potato fries were awesome. Hubby had pork ribs with mash potatoes and gravy. His ribs were awesome. His mash & gravy was tasteless. He shared his dinner with me and I brought back food for my doggie. My birthday is today and we were going back for dinner tonight but the food seems iffy on what will taste good.”
“Best way to end the day at Mount Rushmore! Who knew the Mount Rushmore carvers had a baseball team? Somehow I missed seeing their uniforms, but the ice cream is a real treat! Flavors are fairly limited, how about some additions, like"carvers' favorite" with chunks to look like granite? Great price: two dips for $6.”
“Cheeseburger and fries for $14 which included lettuce, tomato and pickles, bison burgers, chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, chili, subs, salads, ice cream and beverages available. Burger was pretty good and we were hungry.”
“They were really short staffed, but they worked hard to get my togo order ready. The food was ready on time and was hot and delicious.Didn't even have to ask for plates, etc she brought them with the food knowing most people are staying in hotels.”
“Usually a fast food place is 2/3 star tops. This subway actually makes the sandwich like they were made 20 years ago. The chicken was fresh, they didn't short me on cheese, veggies, or dressing. They marked all my sandwiches without asking. The place was well staffed and clean. Keep in mind this was all during Sturgis when they were slammed with customers.”
“Stopped in here for a couple coffees. Awesome little Fudge and Coffee shop. They have all the sweets, fudge, taffy, ice cream, etc. The staff are awesome and are really knowledgeable about different types of coffee. Definitely stop in and support this small business.”
“I got the steak dinner was perfectly seasoned. People crying about the price it's good quality steak.Vegetarian options: My wife got the veggie boat and loved it perfectly seasoned.”
“Great comfort food with amazing service. Extensive menu. This is the kind of place you remember when you stopped at a small town diner and found food as good as your grandma or mom made at home.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Kids welcomed and made to feel comfortable.”
“Great beer and company on a very pretty property! Lots of different brews, which a breath of fresh air from the many places in the hills that 'specialize' in IPAs or ambers. They have a starfruit seltzer on tap that is great for any fan of the fruit (and honestly, quite unique!). Mango creme ale is their flagship brew, so definitely give that a try when you're here.”
“They have great wines and serve a good lunch. They offer free tastings, so you'll find something you like unless you're too cool for non-grape wines. We ended up buying quite a few bottles. For lunch we each had the half sandwich and soup. Menu rotates but we both got the tortilla soup. My wife had the grilled cheese sandwich and I had the chicken pesto. It's worth the stop.”
“I’m absolutely furious at this place. I got the best chi latte ever here… and there is a sign on the door that says they are closing March 2024. Why would you do that to me? They set the standard for an amazing drink and then just yank it away.”
“It's beautiful, and very well kept. The camping is closed for the winter.Still, it's Perfect for RV stays year around. The cabins look amazing too.Noteworthy details: This is not a hotel this is a campgrounds mostly for RVs also has cabins. It's a beautiful area”
“After traveling most of the country, this brewery/winery is hands down the coolest! In terms of atmosphere and service as well as quality and variety of their offerings, we were so impressed! We shared a delicious made to order pizza to accompany our drinks; it was such a fun evening! ?”
“We got there an hour before closing in the off season and they were gracious and stayed open later because other places were closed and they knew a basketball tournament had just gotten finished and many hungry people were looking for a place to eat.Parking: Not many spaces and it's rocks and dirt.Kid-friendliness: 3 kids meal options grilled cheese, chicken strips, and Mac n cheese.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a porch that has stairs st the main doors but you could get in on the far left front the front door.”
“We stopped here during our family vacation to Mount Rushmore and loved it! Our spring break in IL is off-season for Rushmore tourism so we were thrilled Cruizzers was open. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and the food exceeded our expectations! If we visit the area again we will certainly make a point to have a second visit to Cruizzers!”
