“I have been coming here for around a year now and this is by far the best BBQ I've had in Nashville!!! Service is great and everyone is Friendly , Hard to come by in these times. The yummy BBQ aroma smells up the entire parking lot making it a great environment!!“
“First time eating Venezuelan food, and I couldn't pronounce anything I ordered, but it was damn good! a bit pricey, could have been my unfamiliarity with the menu. $22 for the pictured meal but I'm not crying, nothing went to waste and I'm sure if I ever get out this way again I'm going to try other menu items just not all in one sitting ?“
“Hands down my fav food truck in Antioch. I eat here once a week. It's right beside the Dollar General and they take cards not just cash. Try the beef street tacos and the Horchata. Very affordable and fast! They never miss! They also have a few different locations. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try! Can't love it more!“
“Lots of food for a very fair price. Ribs were decent, pulled pork and fries were great, but the stars of the show for me personally were the bbq sauce, and the smoked sausage. Both were fantastic that I would consider near top of all bbq in Nashville. Can't wait to try more.“
“We’re staying 15-20 minutes outside of Nashville and wanted to try some hot chicken. We came into town just to try Red’s, and it was incredible. First bite was so good, I had to close my eyes just to take it all in. Some of the best chicken I’ve ever had. Even the smell was so good, I had to pause to savor it. Two adults and two kids loved every bite. Got three orders of tenders—southern, mild, and medium heat, and a chicken sandwich, all with fries. All was amazing.“
“Fresh, hot (spicy and temperature), delicious. I went for spicy level: hot and it did not disappoint. The heat was strong without any agony. The sandwich was rich in sauciness without falling apart. Pleasant folks behind the window. So glad this was the place we stopped at for lunch on our road trip.“
“The beef birria tacos and consommé are simply out of this world! Best tacos I’ve ever eaten. Nothing in Los Angeles even comes close! MDLV will be my must-have meal every time I’m in Nashville from here on out! Thank you for your amazing food and much respect to your chefs and staff.“
“This place is kind of hidden in the back of a strip of buildings right off of Nolensville Pike and I am sad that I've driven by it so many times without having tried it. In the last month I've been 3 times, as I was super impressed with the food quality. I'm a vegetarian and the falafel is top notch. I've had both the falafel plate and the falafel sandwich and they were crispy on the outside, yet moist and flavorful on the outside. The staff was super friendly and the place has a nice chill vibe. I plan on stopping by more often now that I know what I've been missing.Vegetarian options: There were several vegan options too.Parking: I'd say there are 25-30 spots in this lot.“
“Hands down the nicest owners! They kindly gave us advice on places to go while visiting. They also gifted our daughters a children’s book of theirs for a souvenir. Lastly, they make the best cobbler (the Nashville one) we have ever had with a slight spin off of the usual and a little kick. So good and we will be back! Five stars“
“I love this food truck! My favorite thing to get is the al pastor burrito and a couple chicken tacos.. I’m a hungry guy so you may not need all that. But prices are very reasonable, meat is flavorful and hot sauce is nice and spicy. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop.“
“I haven't had much experience with birria tacos but my significant other insisted we try birria babe and I'm extremely glad we did. We tried several things on the menu and there isn't a single food item that we tried that didn't taste absolutely amazing. The staff and owner were really nice as well! I wholly recommend this food to anyone who finds themselves in the Nashville area.“
“The reviews don't lie! Very quirky restaurant in a small strip center. Smooth jazz and judge Judy playing in the background. Service was quick and attentive. Food was piping hot and fresh. Great flavor. Attractive plating. I wish this place was in Nashville.“
“We are from out of town and wanted to eat Jamaican food but the farmer's market one was closed and we wanted to try this one but it did not disappoint. Good and generous portion and food was out of this world good. This is our new spot when in “
“Visited this place today and it was so good!! The food is made fresh and I love the fact that you can actually taste what you’re eating. Also the carrots - I don’t know the brine or pickling method they use buts it’s amazing! I can just have a bowl of those. Will definitely be returning. Also, everyone was super nice! I even learned some Spanish today.“
“Been missing Peruvian food for a while and this place does not disappoint! The lomo saltado, pan de chicharrón, and arroz chaufa were all stellar and this is definitely a food truck I will try to seek out on a weekly basis. The staff were very friendly and food was good value, with tons of flavor. As someone from Peruvian background, I can't wait to bring my brother next time he is town to try this place out!“
“We come from New Orleans, we were looking for great tacos. Our favorite was Taqueria El Dolar #2! The best service, very tasty, and the best prices. We went twice, in one day. We will definitely return to Taqueria el Dolar when we return to Nashville. My favorites were the sopes!!“
“Nestled in the heart of the capitol of country music is a nice little gyro shop. Everyone that walked in was greeted and served promptly and most were greeted by name. The gyro was very good and the fries about as good as fries get but the rice was amazing! I wound up filling up on the rice and saving the gyros for later. The deep house tunes made for a great atmosphere. I will definitely be here every time I come to Nash-Vegas!“
“As a new transplant from San Diego to Nashville, this little taco truck has been the closest we've gotten to the true street taco experience that is so abundant in San Diego. Back home there are literally dozens of places that serve great tacos, my experience has not been anywhere near the same here in Nashville, not even on Nolensville Pike/Antioch before you grab your pitch fork. Highly recommend Alvaro and his staff. They are friendly and serve a very very good product. The birria burrito is one of my favorites and the mulitas are awesome.“
“I hosted an event at their new downtown Clarksville location. the venue is beautiful with an amazing view. Everybody loved their wings and couldn't get enough of the catfish sliders. The service was exceptional!!! We highly recommend them.“
“I have been to almost every taco truck in the greater Nashville area, and this place is my favorite! Their birria is leaps and bounds above most anywhere else around. My whole family loves their food, and we get it usually a few times a month. They are also super friendly, and their prices are as good as any other. But the food, the food is stellar!“
“Boyfriend and I came to Nashville for the first time for an airsoft tournament and only had the day, so this place checked all the boxes when it came to deciding what to eat and make the best of it. Was not a major fast food chain, their East truck happened to be close to where we were attending, offers low prices, and delicious food! After experiencing I’d note there’s also easy parking, a welcoming environment, fresh ingredients; I had carne asada fries and two chorizo tacos. 100 out of 10 would recommend.“
“Coming from Texas visiting this area. Food ordering was so different. You walk in there’s a kiosk to order your food from a choice of restaurants. From a kiosk. A big surprise to me. I didn’t expect that. Anyhow I didn’t know how to order from the kiosk smh shame on me. Anyhow I contacted the restaurant my choice of course was Hatian food .. I contacted the restaurant for hatian cuisine. The gentleman came out just to help me use the kiosk & order my food . I also didn’t know no cash is acceptable so he took my cash. I was a little worried about that . But he was honest made our delicious food and brought it out to us. He was so polite. His name was Lawa . A big big thank you. If I ever visit the area again I would definitely return… 10 starsParking: Parking is a little sketchy for me . But I guess okay because you’re just picking up your food & leaving!!“
“While the food was really good, customer service needs an overhaul. Stopped in at 11am with only one customer ahead of us, and it took almost 15-20 mins. For someone to take our order. There were 6 people “working” at a snail’s pace. There was no sense of urgency when the line to order reached the door. It was almost like no one working knew what to do.“
“Stepped out on a limb and stopped here for lunch one day. It did not disappoint! Great prices and good tacos! I like the added grilled onion slices, grilled jalapeno, and hot carrots they add on the side with the tacos. Have stopped here several times since and will in the future anytime I'm in the area“
“I liked the atmosphere, it feels like home ?? the trails are all very nice. But they have to improve the food. If I rated the empanadas and the cakes from 1 to 10, I would give them 3 points.Hey, the empanada dough is very hard and very thick, the shredded meat is very salty, and the cheesecake with potatoes ? it's as if you were eating mashed potatoes with flour. They really need to improve here, our food is very expensive compared to other nationalities. But improve that food from the heart ♥️“
“If you're from California and spending a weekend in Nashville, this is the best place to eat in the downtown/Broadway region of Nashville. Try the pastor or Pollo Rojo for some delicious and authentic tacos and burritos. The service is quick. Will return here for the remainder of the weekend without a doubt.“
“Best snow cone I've had since moving from Hawaii. They are huge and they are delicious. The flavor combos are out of this world. Their system must be super efficient cause the wait goes fast. Super cute little truck. I wish they did more in Franklin-Brentwood areas.“
“Can a food truck have ambiance? There is no website, check their FB for schedule or Black Abbey Brewery's site for days and hours. It is easy to pull in and pull out of the lot during slow hours for the brewery or when it is closed and ther are pinic tables outside if you don't want to eat in your car or take it to go. I havd the birria ramen which comes with 1 birria taco and a large container of ramen that I beleve is 2 packs of ramen that comes in the black package. This is comfort and convenience food, not a groumet food truck experince. I do not mean that as a insult because my taco was piping hot, well made, tastey, and was not sopping wet and falling to pieces. The ramen was good but I liked the peices of beef the best. I do not really eat instant Ramen much anymore since college and I struggled to finish the container but I think if you want something heavy after a night of drinking, this will work for you fine.“
“The food was flavorful and hot. Te service was nice and the food came out in no time. I got a chicken and beef empanada with their version of plantains. The chicken was my favorite. I can't wait to some back! It's located in a school bus cute set up for easy pickup.“
“Forget all the other taco places, this one is the best. The only one that can hold a candle to this place is Cheap Charlie's, and it's the same family. The fried avocado at mas taco are amazing, but this place has it all.All the meats are flavorful, never dry, consistent as fack.Jalapeno sauce is always on point, papusas rule, mulitas are stacked. The garlic papusas are phenomenal. They also just started serving beer . The best kept taco secret in Nashville. Slammed for lunch (although they crank the food out, hardly a wait), and dead for dinner. You cannot get better food, or better service, and a more consistent experience anywhere else.10/10, I love you forever. Been going here for at least two years, and its always been the same amazing experience.“
“These were some good tacos I’ve had in a while. My absolute favorite was the BBQ taco, it was packed with so much flavor and so juicy! The steak taco (tender) was good as well as the pollo (it was ok) but the BBQ taco was the highlight of the meal. I also ordered a asada quesadilla and it was delicious with the green sauce.I wish I was given more limes. The tortillas was dry but when you top it with the sauce everything came together.Very clean food truck! Was impressed on the cleanliness for it to be located outside a gas station. 9.2/10“
“Wow very very good food. The mulitas are a must. They are 2 mini corn tortillas semi crispy with meat, onion, cheese, cilantro and avocado inside, a cross between a taco and a quesadilla. The pastor, carnitas and lengua we soooo flavorful. Pricing is a tad high for a taco truck but worth it.“
“Thi s place is one of the greatest on earth real food from real people. The area its located in is very diverse. You know people nfrom all walks of life . This is my naba hood and always will be. Please come check them out . Ima stamp them certified. The heart of LA.Lower Antioch.“
“Absolutely incredible food here. I had the Lomo Saltado, very delicious. The meat & vegetables were seasoned & cooked to perfection. And their rice is quality. Good selection of drinks. I will be eating here regularly for my lunch breaks.“
“I hate how great this place was. If I could, i would rate them higher. Customer service was fantastic. The food was amazing. I'm already planning to drive the hour to come back soon. Totally recommend l. The spicy pork was amazing and not spicy at all ended up eating three of them and the barbecue was amazing at “
“The prices are really confusing and theyusually don’t have someone who speaks English fluently working, so ordering is hard and I always end up paying more than I think I will cause it’s hard to communicate. I paid $12.49 for chips and guac, two tiny barbacoa tacos, and horchata. The portion sizes of the tacos and the guac is so small that I can’t really say I feel like I got my money’s worth. Everything also needed more salt, the food lacked flavor. The horchata is ok but a little watered down. Because it seems like the prices are going up while the food quality stays the same I probably won’t be back, but give it a try if you’re craving mexican fast food in lavergne, the drive thru is very convenient.“

“The food is one of the best authentic Mexican in Nashville. The flavoring, & taste are delicious, the preparation & portions are very good especially for a street taco truck stand. I believe they're better than the brick & mortar sit down full fledged restaurants.“
“Craving GOOD authentic street tacos and birria and this place DID NOT disappoint. The food was so good I couldn’t even get a pic before inhaling it. Birria burrito surprised us with rice and beans in it and it was packed! Birria tacos were good portions that filled me up and the consomé was DELICIOUS. Best I’ve ever tried. I ordered 1 steak taco to try it since it was my first time here, and it was full of flavor as well. Will 100% come back!“
