“Typically eat here 2-3 times a month..It's hit or miss on the flavors and freshness..Like last week ordered spiceyhoney garlic strips meal and for whatever reason there was little to no sauce or flavor on the strips...The fries however were so crispy and deliciously seasoned... 2 weeks prior the strips were deliciously sauced and the fries were soggy & cold and hardly seasoned...Consistency seems to be an issue I'm guessing...The potato salad is good too..“

“Love this place! All I can say tho is I was flabbergasted when I went in and they sat us with strangers and didn’t let me use my phone but I loved the experience and the food was great! Loved the fried chicken for breakfast! I just wish their was signs that were clear! I saw the “come as strangers leave as friends” but I thought it was just a cute welcome lol. I would just be scared if I had young children and sat around a bunch of strangers so probably not for young children but for social kids this would be a paradise!“
“Excellent food; kim chi had good flavor balance and fermentation, and most of the other sides were also good, kim chi pajeon was very tasty, meats were good (grilled at the table). Also too-easy-to-drink soju selection. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.“
“Had to stop at the "original" source of nashville hot chicken and phew, am I glad I did. Definitely a different taste from some of the others! I've had some spots that have sweeter spice, some with spicey spice, but this was perfectly balanced. I didn't even have a chance to take a photo it was so good. As soon as thay first bite of medium level heat hit my lips, it was over! The whole half bird order was gone before I even knew what happened. And them greens!!!! I've been twice in one week already so I'm very convinced that this is by far the best soul food establishment we have in Nashville. Hands down... I got the chicken & dressing with mashed potatoes and green beans the first time, then came back later in the week and got hot lemon pepper fried chicken wings with macaroni and cheese and greens. Both plates were excellent and now I have my new favorite spot for home cooking! Just when I thought we didn't have anymore good meat & 3 restaurants.“

“First time checking out this Hai Woon Dai expansion and I took away a star because I felt that some of the food wasn't as good as the prime location. That said I had a great experience and really enjoyed my evening and the food is still absolutely terrific. The waitress was fabulous and we were peppering her with questions while she was cooking our meats. I'll say it we were annoying and she dealt with it admirably.“
“I was driving thru Nashville and stopped here for a sandwich to go. The restaurant itself is typical of most fast food places, but it was fine. The sandwich and sides were ready and bagged up in about 5 minutes. I ordered the 2nd hottest, I think it was called capsicum. The sandwich had good flavor, a solid spicy burn and the sides were really good (potato salad and cole slaw). Good stuff!“
