“So being from STL where the Chinese food is the bomb and coming to nashville and the Japanese food is pretty good was hard but the is the ONLY place I will get my Asian experience from.i always order ahead and my order is ALWAYS correct and very tasty. You can watch your sushi being made. The establishment is clean and the workers are so nice. Definitely give them a try if you aren't happy with the current choices here.Vegetarian options: You can get anything on the menu without meat. Sushi has veggie options as well.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp or a spot on the sidewalk you can enter.“
“Jeff Ruby’s Nashville was exceptional. I have been to other Ruby’s and could trust their service coming in from out of town that it was going to be top notch for an important night. Corridan our server got the notes from the host that we were in a rush was he and the servers assistant Corbin kept us on time to make a show across town. The touch points were just enough to share the marvelous service but allow us the space to talk.I highly recommend JR’s; Alissa, Corridan, & Corbin, I appreciate the moment and memory you created for me more than you’ll realize.Parking: Valet out front was great. They were fast and terrific to chat with during the short wait.“
“I've been to numerous sushi places in Murfreesboro and a few in Nashville. This is by far the best sushi I've had in the area. It may be the best I've ever had. You can just tell the ingredients are so fresh and superior to what I've had elsewhere. Amazing!“
“Delicious!!!& the customer service is incredible, I will definitely come back here again, food is delicious but including the service you get in there… prefect!?Plenty of food for the price you pay, & it’s fresh, you can tell! The place is very clean & the area where they have the toppings for each bowl is very clean too, I added a picture of the workers from there, they are very nice & they made sure you get everything you need?Highly, highly recommend!“
“I have been to this place many times and they do NOT disappoint. The sushi/food is super fresh , the cooks are just amazing , the best , with said a culinary experience you want to taste. I’m Big on sushi and this place should be put on the map of one of the best sushi places to eat at.I have been so disappointed in the last several years with sushi and said I’m done eating it until I gave this place a try .The atmosphere is a vibe of its own loved it ! Took me back in the day 60s 70s 80s 90s rock and roll playing. The service was also was Great, fast , friendly, just great .So what are you waiting for go !!!!“
“One of my go to places for dinner. Great food and a very nice staff. The atmosphere is nice, and it's a perfect option for quick takeout. I'm not sure why some people mention the portion size. Perhaps it depends on the dish, but I always get Pad Thai and easily get two meals out of it.“
“My husband and I had a pre honeymoon get away to Nashville. We love sushi and were highly reccomended this restaurant… It was an amazing experience. Best sushi we’ve ever had and atmosphere/server was incredible!! We will be back ♥️“
“This place deserves its perfect 5 star rating! The panang curry at a level 3 was one of the best I’ve had, and the presentation is so good! The Thai tea was nice and strong, and the crab rangoons are nice and heartyVegetarian options: Lots of tofu options for nearly every dish“
“This is the freshest salmon I've ever had. The service was amazing (They were so nice). It was so clean. My daughter said to the server "This is The best Sushi I've ever had, and I would know because sushi is my absolute favorite food." This was hands down the best sushi place in Nashville for a reasonable price.“
“If you dare to venture way down Nolensville Pike you'll be rewarded with this locals-favorite. The shopping center has all kinds of international markets and restaurants so we are excited to go back and try other places as well. The interior is cozy with a sushi bar and small tables. There were a lot of families here because it's casual and the portion sizes are good. They have a robust menu with Japanese and Korean entrees and sushi. I ordered the Jap Chae which is a Korean dish of glass noodles, sauteed peppers and beef. This comes with all the amazing Korean sides of kimchi and other accoutrements. My favorite was a spiced cold potato and I also devoured the cucumbers. The serving size is unreal--I had to get a to-go box and ate this for like 3 days after! My husband ordered the chicken katsu which was also a good portion and he didn't eat all of it too. The women who were working there were so kind and came over to check on us several times. We would come back here since everything was great.“
“This is almost as perfect as a lounge could be. Excellent service with sweeping views of the city. Layout was elegant with upbeat background music that was noticeable but permitting conversation. I had my trusty old fashioned which gave me the expected satisfaction. I ventured to have the disco inferno cocktail which had a presentation as potent as its smoky flavor and strength. I would recommend slow easy sips on this one!“
“This place may not be in a great location, the decor is still under construction, and it’s a very simple set up but when I say it’s good…it is GOOD!! I will definitely be back. The employees were so friendly and quick to get our order together.“
“Surprisingly amazing food. I've been in the hunt for great Asian/ Thai food since moving here and this place didn't disappoint. And they arent far from where i reside. The customer service was standard. My lamb chops weren't seasoned/cooked great but everything else was delightful. Noodle dishes were good as well as the appetizers. Will try the sushi bar soon.“
“Not only was the food excellent, but so was the service. The staff was so understanding when I asked then to if the music could be turned down a little when the noise was over stimulating my son. I can’t say enough good things about this place.“
“What an outstanding restaurant. We went for my wife's Birthday and everyone from the host to the bus staff were outstanding. Everyone stopping by saying happy birthday ?. Great atmosphere, outstanding food and service just an all around must visit. Can't wait to come back next year.“
“O-Ku is my absolute favorite restaurant EVER! I take all my friends and family and it’s the best spot for a romantic date! The food is always so delicious and beautifully presented. The whole atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is the best service I’ve ever had. Everyone is so nice, helpful, and genuinely friendly. My favorite servers all work here and I’m not the only regular who would say the same. I love you O-Ku Nashville! Shout out to some great servers I’ve had and highly recommend: Leah (the cool environmental enthusiast), Chance (the jokester with the biggest smile), and Ally (the crafty gal with the coolest handmade earrings and the sweetest heart). Food recommendations: PLEASE try the omokase. It is a 6 course tasting meal that is different every time you come in. I’ve had the best dishes from this meal and the nigiri are always so delicious. But honestly, I recommend anything and EVERYTHING. To start- king pao Cauliflower. Hot dish- get the Tokyo chicken bowl. Sashimi- the usuzukari or hamachi carpachio. From the robata grill- kamo negi (duck breast). A sushi roll- the playboy. Also the have O-toro, Uni, and so many specialty fishes like kin medai and shima aji!!!!“
“Fantastic food! We went twice during our trip. The hibachi chefs were highly entertaining. We have young kids, and worked hard to entertain them, but not scare them with too much “fire”Highly recommend their filet mignon and their salmon on their entrees. (Their “yum yum” sauce with the red “hot” paste was delicious.”We also got some sushi rolls, which were also really good.Next visit to Nashville- would stop by again“
“awesome place. atmosphere was hip but not snooty. portions were large. food was exceptional, not to mention our waitress Shayla. she was fantastic! explained the whole menu and was very attentive. also the menu has lots of variety to choose from. definitely going back“
“I came across T3 on Facebook and have been craving sushi so badly and decided to take the 20 minute drive for an early dinner and I’m so happy I did! I ordered the salmon sushi donut and the TN Roll. The portions are great, the fish is very fresh and the crab salad is sooooo sooooo good, I could eat it like a bowl of cereal! Looking forward to going back and trying a poke bowl next. My theory of “the best sushi places are in strip malls” lives on!“
“We had the Kamayan Feast, and while it looks expensive, it's the best value on the menu. Adobo Pork belly, Crispy Pata Pork shank, Lumpia, Chicken Inasal - all of it was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that the early 2000's pop they played the whole time we were there was so loud we had trouble talking over it.“
“Just tried them for the first time and ordered the Beef Ramen Bowl, it was really good and they listened to my changes I made to the order. The beef was tasty just melts in your mouth, the dumplings were good too. I recommend for some good ramen.“
“Great food and great service. Some of the best KBBQ I’ve had. Expensive but definitely worth it and everyone left very full. Sundubu jiggae was almost as good as mom makes, Korean fried chicken was perfectly crispy, and the quality of the Korean bbq was fantastic.Go. Eat. Embrace the food coma.“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Joe Muer's. Everyone we came in contact with was personable and accommodating. We ordered the Raw Bar Plateau for two and it was superb! My entree was the scallops and it was divine - a very generous portion, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. My husband had the Airline Chicken, also delicious! I had to try the tomato cobbler out of curiosity, and while it was so good, I almost had too much food. Next time I will skip the side and save room for the coconut cake. I can't forget to mention how wonderful Hileen was! 10/10 would recommend Joe Muer's when you want to treat yourself.“
“Great menu with rolls we have never seen or had. Prices were pretty good for sushi and the Ramen bowl sushi combo seems like a great deal for $20. A bit disappointed by the draft Sapporo. We normally get a can and was looking forward to draft but is was not very carbonated and was not very cold. I'd rather have received the can. Rolls were good size, well made and fresh tasting. I would recommend the ahi seared tuna salad as you get good amount of tuna that way and was delicious with ginger dressing. Conveniently located near our hotel and just down the road is a great ice cream parlor for dessert! Note: we were going to have the fried brownie dessert but they were out of ice cream (? Pssst..younext door to a grocery store). Overall was great place to check out if you like sushi. Next time I'll try the Ramen as they did look great and you can choose type of broth, protein which is cool.“
“OMG THIS PLACE WAS SO GOOD! I stopped here for a family dinner with my parents and we were absolutely blown away by the quality of the dishes, as well as the staff. It was quick, delicious, and an amazing experience all-in-all. I love the ambience as well, it felt very high class for a relatively cheap sushi bar.“
“I know I was really hungry, but everything tasted really good tonight. I started eating before taking my pictures of the food, LOL. The calamari was perfectly cooked and was a great appetizer. I got the chicken pad Thai bento, which came with some california roll sushi which was great! The rice was moist enough, which many places don't get it right. Most other places the rice is too dry. Maybe a bit more vinegar flavor, but now I'm just getting picky. The spring roll was nice, the chicken pad Thai was outstanding with a lot of flavor. It may have been a bit more "wet" than I am used to, but it was really good. Staff was really friendly and attentive with their service. Will definitely be back if I am in the area again.“
“We’ve ordered takeout here an embarrassing number of times in the last few months! Their massaman curry and pad Thai are both excellent. The roti that comes with the massaman is tasty too. We’ve eaten at a lot of Thai places over the years but never had that. I did get the red curry once, but wouldn’t recommend that dish—it was very tomato-y.“
“Best Korean Food in the Southeast! The Bulgogi was absolutely delicious! Fresh and flavorful ingredients prepared to perfection in generous portions. The KFC is out of this world and will change your life. The Atmosphere and Team members also 5 Star and give great recommendations! Most importantly, this is definitely a child friendly dining option!!“
“In spite of a shady looking character or two in the parking lot, this place has a pleasant aesthetic on the inside, new, clean, thematically portrays a nice Thai restaurant. The Tom kha soup looks inexpensive, but the bowl is small. They also didn't have any lime juice in it, so I got the server to bring me a couple of wedges and after I squeezed one off into it, the soup was perfect. Also, spice level 2 was very hot ?. Good food overall though.“
