“First time here, but it won’t be the last! We had the lunch specials of Fried Shrimp Basket & Crawfish Etouffee & both were delicious! The Large shrimp & breading were probably the best I’ve ever eaten…ever, and Cajun fries, too! Jon’Monique was our very nice & attentive waitress. We’ll be back!”

Vegetarian options: They need more options, bring back pasta with no meat options, shrimp pasta, green bean crisps, anything but the crap they have now that or at least lower the prices some 2 for 20 was great but the options are less and the price is more”

“My mom and I ate here after a day of shopping. The prices were decent and our food was made to order. I would say specify how you want you food cooked because my mom’s fish was a little overcooked but she was still willing to keep it, but coco checked on us and made sure we were satisfied and replaced the fish with no problem.”

“I placed an online order for take out. Right when it was ready to be picked up we had an emergency situation arise, they said they understood and would keep our pizza warm for us. An hour or so later they called me and asked if they could just deliver it free of charge. They brought it to us even though we live at the edge of their delivery area. Everyone I dealt with was extremely kind and professional. Wether you like the food or not those people deserve the business just for being good humans and caring about others.”

“Some of the best sushi you will find in Memphis area. I’ve eaten at both restaurants within this week and both excellent. Man who complained about slow service evidently doesn’t know we are in a pandemic and expect service to be the same as before. Patience is key. I will say service was fast both times. Depends on time you go maybe? Worth the wait. Go try it 😉”

“The food was hot, fresh, and it got to me relatively quickly. However, the person working the window wasn't the friendliest. He read off a total, which I didn't fully hear, and after I handed him my card, I realized he was handing me the wrong order before I grabbed it. No big deal, he hadn't run my card yet. I let him know it wasn't the right thing, and his response, sarcastically, was "So you were just going to let me charge you $12 for a $5 order..." and just stared at me instead of just letting it be an oops and back to business. I acknowledged it was partially my fault and apologized, but he took no accountability for the fact that he wasn't paying attention. Again, it wasn't a big deal. I just wasn't a fan of being spoken to like that.”

“I normally love eating here. We’ve Ben eating here for years. We only had one problem this last Friday. My husband is lactose intolerant (absolutely NO milk sugars). We reminded the server but when the Cole Slaw came it had been made with milk. The reason this is so important is my husband gets extremely sick. Just be sure if you have dietary restrictions that the staff adheres to it.”

“I came here from instagram because of a review kingbee did and JD’s did not disappoint! The food was delicious and customer service was amazing too. I ordered catfish and wings dipped in buffalo with a lemon pepper drizzle, okra, seasoned fries, catfish basket and threw in some strawberry, lemon and orange cream cookies! Everything was amazing and they now have another loyal customer. The food was cooked to order and piping hot and seasoned to the gawds! This is my new go to spot for fast food! The prices are also very reasonable! The owner is also a sweetheart and very pleasant to talk with. 10 out of 10 will definitely recommend and go again!”

“Ate Ty's barbeque yesterday for lunch! Brother & friend had eaten there the day before & bought some to bring home to eat later. Wow! Ty's is the best! From all the rest! Great smoky flavor, no fat, good mix of some burnt ends with lean meat....so so good! Also potato salad was delicious too! Like my brother said, if he's driving by there, he's stopping in! You should too! Never disappoints!”

“My 2.5 year old and I went into this location today after an appointment she had at a local hospital. We live over an hour away and I haven’t had Gus’s in over 2 years. I was so excited to come. The service is very friendly. The food of course is excellent and super fresh! It was raining before we left so I went into the restroom to get my daughter ready to leave. She made the comment that the “toilet was really nice.” which I chuckled so told the staff about it as we were heading out. One of the employees, Lucas, let my daughter hug him at her own will unpromted and gave her a small bear he had attached to his phone. It made her day! If you’re deciding where you want to get some Cajun chicken, please go see them. The chicken is the best and the staff is very kind!”

“Ordered at 5:30 on Halloween. 3 pizzas and 2 pizzoli’s. Order was ready for pick up in just 15 minutes. The food was really hot and good and new pizzoli’s were delicious!! We have never had a bad experience at this location.”

“I don’t know why I’ve been sleeping on HBH! After a friend brought my son a sandwich from this store a few months back, he had been anxious to eat here. A few Saturdays ago I relented and stopped by to dine in for lunch. The staff was friendly and patient. We took a while to figure out what we wanted because the menu was more diverse than we expected. We both settled on the club. I got the Mac and cheese. He got chips. The sandwiches were really. Too big for me to finish. The macaroni only needed pepper, which they provide. Overall, it was a great experience. I will definitely go back again. I’m also thinking of getting my next holiday meal catered by them. Of course I’ll say I cooked it all. ?”

“People of Memphis you need to eat here!! Driving through town and we’re lucky enough to find this authentic Thai restaurant. The food is fantastic. We had the grilled steak/shrimp Papaya salad and the Ginger salmon. Both dishes were delicious with generous portions and a beautiful presentation. The cook and waitress are very friendly and gave us excellent service. Highly recommend.”

“2nd time, I ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables meal. Fantastically tender generous amount chicken with nice selection of veggies that are not overcooked. If I want to spice it up, I mix 1 hot mustard packet w 2 soy sauce packets. We ordered our food to go at 5:30 and it was fresh and ready to go in 20 min. I don't eat the rice as I try to low carb but hubby and mom loved the rice, egg rolls, and crab rangoons. Husband loves the fried General Tso. We always lucky to have leftovers.”

The margaritas were great make sure you ask what all the sizes look like bc the large was like a 32oz which I'm not complaining but definitely got my attention when it was brought to the table.”

“Went here recently, and so glad I did. Most places I've gotten chocolate eclairs only do whipped cream filling, which is gross. This place has custard filled ones, though they're called 'Long Johns' instead? My granny used to buy custard filled chocolate eclairs in the morning for me whenever I was at her house. These reminded me of those. I've looked for YEARS to find another place that does the custard filled ones. SO happy to have found this place, it was perfect and delicious. My only complaint was that I got there a bit early and they didn't have any biscuits. But, hopefully next time I will get to try the biscuits as well. Will definitely be going back for more of those custard filled eclairs, or 'Long Johns'. <3”

Yes, everyone tried it and said the same thing and yes, we already know that it is seafood but literally, they just took it out of the bag and mixed its stinky juice with chilies and that's it. It doesn't have avocado either and for $18.
So I ordered a quesadilla with vegetables and beans. The beans tasted like a can but I'll pass them by. Nothing like home, right? Ha ha. But the vegetables were like a bag too and to finish it off, the cabbage with ice. My dad anyway left a good tip for the refrigerator because ps it's not her fault. And if I write this it is because that's how it was...”
