“I received a call from the manager shortly after my review appeared. He was very apologetic that I was not pleased with my order. He offered to replace it and expedite its delivery. I received the the replacement In 20 minutes. It was delicious. The chicken and vegetables were cooked well and the amounts of curry in the sauce was just right. I commend Asian Star for being so responsive to its customers. I highly recommend Asian Star...my new go-to restaurant for Chinese food.“
“Sekisui Pacific Rim is an east Memphis sushi scene, from the food to the ambiance to the service!FOODI can't help but rave about their Redbirds Roll - it's my absolute favorite for 18 years now. It's a meal all in itself. Imagine a California roll with crispy crab inside and cooked shrimp on the top. I also like that is pays homage to our baseball team, the Memphis Redbirds. And the Cucumber Rolls? The freshness and flavor burst in your mouth, truly a refreshing treat, and you feel very light after eating it. Oh, and don't forget have some green tea; it's the ideal way to round off a fantastic dining experience and help you digest the meal. It's not just the food that makes this place special; Sekisui Pacific Rim goes the extra mile by using eco-friendly paper straws, demonstrating their commitment to the environment and, of course, saving those adorable turtles.AMBIANCEThe ambiance at Sekisui Pacific Rim is hip and chic. In the back of the restaurant, they have an aquarium that serves as mood lighting along with a massive art centerpiece that adds to the overall charm. The art features throughout the restaurant really set the mood for a unique dining experience. When it comes to the seating arrangement, their artsy tables and layout also contribute to the cool and contemporary atmosphere. And if you're looking for a more intimate experience, I highly recommend the cozy sushi bar off to the side - it's the perfect spot to watch the talented chefs work their magic.SERVICEThe staff makes everyone feel like they're at home. I love them and they love people and understand true customer service! If you like sushi, it's a great date place, a place for a small friend group or even a work meeting.“
“We went for the dinner and it was late in night, almost close to their closing time. The place was not much packed obviously. The server was sweet. He hurried up as the kitchen was closing but never rushed us. We started with some pan fried dumplings. They were hot, steamy, and good. My husband got some tofu with veggies and I got myself kung pao chicken. Both the dishes were served with steamed rice. The portion size was decent for a single person and the food was hot and fresh. I would return surely.“
“I ordered my meal on DoorDash. Overall I was happy with the delivery just a little soy sauce spilled so the restaurant may want to take that into consideration that sauces may shift during deliveries. As for the quality of food it turned out as I expected, this dish is a Japanese style fried rice with added basil leaves and peppers. I was hoping for a more authentic basil fried rice but overall still flavorful and hot when it arrived. I think their portion size is comparable to the price. I did not dine into this location to give an accurate service and vibe of the restaurant. I hope to stop in one day to experience their restaurant.“
“For the hungry and want it fast crowd this place will do the job. Mostly Chinese dishes with some American thrown in. Most of their business is take out but they have seating for 32. We showed up about 1 ish and we were the only ones eating in but saw a steady stream of phone in orders being picked up. My partner got the chicken fried rice and I agreed with her it should have had more chicken in it. I selected the steak and shrimp sub and the meat was ground up, not hamburger but certainly not sirloin. Few shrimp in it. On the edge of Tiger Town for what it is, it’s not bad.Parking: Lots of roomWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room in the dining area. Restrooms are ADA compliant“
“I know this resturant used to be Chang's Bubble Tea, and a lot has changed since then, but it still has the same spirit. There's bubble tea, milk tea, fruit smoothies, etc. They have the usual lo mein, ramen, and fried rice varieties. To order, you have lots of options. You can order take out through their app, website, or phone. To dine in, you can order through a QR code at your table, the kiosk by the register, or at the register if you have cash.“
“We ate here on March 8, 2024. Our teriyaki tofu was delicious! It came to us hot and just as ordered. We also added spring rolls which were scrumptious. This restaurant never disappoints us. We return often and it’s always clean snd the service is never slow.Vegetarian options: Tofu is an option“
“The sushi was excellent. Some of the best I've had, plus I am a fan of the spicy mayo. The service was ok and seems slow. It was kinda hot, not sure if it was on purpose or what. 84 degrees is hot. It is definitely on the pricey side. Spicy tuna roll is $12 and this is a basic roll. I would most likely get sushi to go or delivered. I recommend the sushi.“
“Food was not authentic, but not horrible…was not great either (overly salty). Staff was friendly, but extremely slow even though they weren’t very busy. Great atmosphere. Probably won’t go back again, but won’t tell others not to try it. Maybe you’ll like it more than me.“
“One of the few buffets our fussy family will go to. I was amazed at the low price - there was a lot of variety and few things had an upcharge. Between our group of 5, I think we tried a pretty good percentage the offerings. We found most to be tasty and fresh.“
“The restaurant is under new management who is in the process of getting their alcohol and liquor licenses, so there were no drinks. The food was awesome. We hope the new owners remodel the inside and get rid of that awful boat in the middle of the room.“
“This was a hard 4 especially for how steep the pricing is. Started off I asked for a Dragon Tea which was unavailable, but showed on the online menu (I like to plan ahead) and then went with something much easier The Mulan Martini on the rocks and she insisted on flavor so rather than pushing the point across that I enjoy the taste of Liquor without fruit I just said Cranberry and accepted the drink. The Beef Lo Mein was unusually good and not your typical "noodles and slop" plus the Miso Soup was hot and had good flavor with copious amounts of both Kale and Tofu. However simple a Spring Roll is for a side item these topped every buffet. Crispy outside and not soggy inside. With a Sweet and Sour that hit the palate just right. I wish I would've noticed the nice open patio area before I picked a seat rather than running into it by exiting the wrong door on the way out. Looked like it would've been a nice place to sit and enjoy the bustle of the area. I will also say that even though the cocktail wasn't made exactly right it was decent. Judging how to tip was stressful because there was 2 of three people involved that did great and one that partially ruined my meal. q“
“Have dined in this restaurant twice and had a great experience both times! Very friendly and caring waiters/waitresses, great food, and very reasonably priced! The dining room is very well decorated which makes the whole experience even better!“
“Just had lunch with friends at the Asian Eatery. It was absolutely delicious!! The food was fresh and excellent quality, portions were generous, service was prompt and friendly, and prices were very reasonable! They have lunch specials even! Can't recommend this enough! I'll definitely be back!“
“This restaurant is in the food court of Wolfchase Mall. The food is great and tasty. The employees were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The portion sizes are great. They give you enough for two meals. The bourbon chicken and Mongolian chicken were tasty, and the string beans were cooked to perfection.Parking: Mall parking lot. The lot near the food court stays full. May have to park far off.Wheelchair accessibility: They have about 12 handicap parking spaces wheelchair entrances, and elevators to get to the food court“
“I just moved to the area last year I have been trying to find a good takeout spot for Chinese. I decided to try this one after trying 3 others ones that were not that great. I’m so glad I did the food was fresh and hot, and was exactly what I’ve been looking for . I definitely will continue to use them for my Chinese take out.“
