“Sekisui Pacific Rim is an east Memphis sushi scene, from the food to the ambiance to the service!FOODI can't help but rave about their Redbirds Roll - it's my absolute favorite for 18 years now. It's a meal all in itself. Imagine a California roll with crispy crab inside and cooked shrimp on the top. I also like that is pays homage to our baseball team, the Memphis Redbirds. And the Cucumber Rolls? The freshness and flavor burst in your mouth, truly a refreshing treat, and you feel very light after eating it. Oh, and don't forget have some green tea; it's the ideal way to round off a fantastic dining experience and help you digest the meal. It's not just the food that makes this place special; Sekisui Pacific Rim goes the extra mile by using eco-friendly paper straws, demonstrating their commitment to the environment and, of course, saving those adorable turtles.AMBIANCEThe ambiance at Sekisui Pacific Rim is hip and chic. In the back of the restaurant, they have an aquarium that serves as mood lighting along with a massive art centerpiece that adds to the overall charm. The art features throughout the restaurant really set the mood for a unique dining experience. When it comes to the seating arrangement, their artsy tables and layout also contribute to the cool and contemporary atmosphere. And if you're looking for a more intimate experience, I highly recommend the cozy sushi bar off to the side - it's the perfect spot to watch the talented chefs work their magic.SERVICEThe staff makes everyone feel like they're at home. I love them and they love people and understand true customer service! If you like sushi, it's a great date place, a place for a small friend group or even a work meeting.“
“We went for the dinner and it was late in night, almost close to their closing time. The place was not much packed obviously. The server was sweet. He hurried up as the kitchen was closing but never rushed us. We started with some pan fried dumplings. They were hot, steamy, and good. My husband got some tofu with veggies and I got myself kung pao chicken. Both the dishes were served with steamed rice. The portion size was decent for a single person and the food was hot and fresh. I would return surely.“
“For the hungry and want it fast crowd this place will do the job. Mostly Chinese dishes with some American thrown in. Most of their business is take out but they have seating for 32. We showed up about 1 ish and we were the only ones eating in but saw a steady stream of phone in orders being picked up. My partner got the chicken fried rice and I agreed with her it should have had more chicken in it. I selected the steak and shrimp sub and the meat was ground up, not hamburger but certainly not sirloin. Few shrimp in it. On the edge of Tiger Town for what it is, it’s not bad.Parking: Lots of roomWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room in the dining area. Restrooms are ADA compliant“
“First time and the food was ok. The meat was a little tuff but manageable. I love how they give you alot of food so your money is well spent. I got the mixed fried rice with no shrimp. The rice itself was not over cooked but the meat could've been better. Two people can eat off one plate so be prepared. It comes with everything in it so you dont have to ask for extra. My hubby loves this place tho so his review will be different. Me, i may go back lol“
“The sushi was excellent. Some of the best I've had, plus I am a fan of the spicy mayo. The service was ok and seems slow. It was kinda hot, not sure if it was on purpose or what. 84 degrees is hot. It is definitely on the pricey side. Spicy tuna roll is $12 and this is a basic roll. I would most likely get sushi to go or delivered. I recommend the sushi.“
“I love the food here, the atmosphere is nice, relaxing, not to busy. Me and my partner loved it, we tried the spicy drunken noodles & the yum yum shrimp which were reallyy good and filling! The servings are a good size for two as well and the service was amazing. Thank you!!“
“The food was amazing!! We went for dinner and absolutely loved. it The steak in the hibachi was perfectly seasoned. The sushi was so good. The asian buns were delicious too. I definitely recommend getting those if you’re looking to try something new. The service was above and beyond! Everyone was friendly and they took the time to write a list of things for us to do in town that night when we mentioned we were tourists. Anyone in Memphis should definitely stop by stix!!“
“This restaurant is in the food court of Wolfchase Mall. The food is great and tasty. The employees were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The portion sizes are great. They give you enough for two meals. The bourbon chicken and Mongolian chicken were tasty, and the string beans were cooked to perfection.Parking: Mall parking lot. The lot near the food court stays full. May have to park far off.Wheelchair accessibility: They have about 12 handicap parking spaces wheelchair entrances, and elevators to get to the food court“
“Mulan Asian Bistro. Where to start? Everything was excellent about this place. The food was amazing, I had Hunan Bandit Duck with steamed rice and Steamed Buns (aka Baozi or Mantou) as an appetizer. The duck was crisp on the outside while being juicy and perfectly done on the inside. The sauce was just the right amount of spicy, and the buns complimented the dishes perfectly. They added just the right amount of sweet and soft while taking the pepper oils out of my mouth. The vegetables were perfect as well, having just the right amount of crisp left to them. Delicious all the way around. The service was also expedient, friendly, and helpful. Plenty of space to park, plenty of dining room, and overall everything was excellent. The pricing was reasonable if one considers the portion size, I ate twice off the same meal. Overall, hats off to the folks at Mulan Asian Bistro, keep up the excellent work.“
“One of the better experiences I've had in a while. I've grown pretty tired of seeing menus with things like mashed potatoes with gochujang, or croque madams with chili crispy on top...so I was happy to see western flavors in dumplings, etc.Cocktails were amazing. Great flavors, well balanced. Their take on an old fashioned with pandan really stood out.As for the food, didn't try any noodles, but everything else we had was very satisfying.“
