“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!“

“Farm to table restaurant that doesn't disappoint!! This was our first time here and it was fantastic. The server took the time to describe how they operate and gave recommendations. The pork chop was cooked to perfection. The catch of the day was swordfish and it too, was great. If you can also try the biscuits for an appetizer (LT Bread Service). One dish we had was a lobster roll - could've been bigger for the price, but it was tasty for being in the middle of the US. Alcohol is available for purchase. “I love Creve Hall bagels they are just outstanding and I love their smears as well but I went into buy four bagels and two 8 oz containers and they ring me up as a build your own sandwich basically and so it really got expensive because I was charged basically for four sandwiches. This meal will put any other burger to shame! We were greeted with a very spirited and young man that took our order…. I don’t like coleslaw, but they make it in house and it was far superior to the normal mayo or vinegar based BBQ side option that most people pass on. Even how the chips were fried tasted better than most fries, as did the the in-house made tartar sauce. It was served warm with toasted rounds. It was so delicious! Then we ordered an Entree of Falafel cakes on rice with a red cabbage slaw, tzatziki sauce, and pita bread. The falafel cakes were so good, we ordered more to go, the red cabbage was seasoned perfectly for a salad. We will be returning to try other dishes, as it was our first time.
