“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!“
“We really enjoyed our meal. Went with a girlfriend before a play. Our server was very attentive. The noise level was a little loud for us, but the other patrons didn't seem to mind. Let me say, we are boomers and the crowd was somewhat younger.“
“I hate to share any more details as I want to keep it secret in my neighborhood. But, that should say all. Need to say. Keep playing live acoustic music. Keep the Grateful Dead on the patio! Faithful customer since they opened during Covid. They could onlyDo take out. And now it’s packed. Because it’s awesome. The vibe. The local vibe. No need to go downtown. What are you waiting on ? For me to get up from my table?“
“This was our first time going some super fancy. The atmosphere was absolutely breathtaking and the skyline view of Nashville! The service was fantastic and our server was so helpful with helping us decide what to get!! Lastly the food was HEAVENLY, will definitely go back again“
“Curated cocktails working with the patron to develop a real visceral experience. And it’s off Broadway which is why it took me so long to find as I don’t do the touristy things. Learned that they’ve been here 15 years crafting true cocktails. Sad it took me so long to find! Sam and Brandy - amazing bartenders. Cocktail creation is stellar and that’s where this place shines - not off the beaten path just for fun, but truly putting thought and science behind creating an EXPERIENCE.So Sam worked with me to find my tastes - sampling products along the way to dial in to ensure I would enjoy his creations. And enjoy I did… spectacular experience! While sad that Fable closed, happy to find this gem. It’s strange to me that there are so many tourist bars around here so not sure who will find this review but if you have a developed palette and care about your drink, go to Patterson House and just enjoy the ride…“
“I celebrated my 40th birthday in Nashville last weekend and the highlight was Harper’s! The food is incredible but the service almost tops the food. Our server William was so attentive to every need and made our dining experience one of the best we’ve had! Thank you Harper’s we’ll be back!“
“We ordered fried chicken and hamburgers.Very good food, well seasoned.Their cornbread is delicious!Cost for 2 people around 34 dollars to dine there. It's worth it, we'll be back more often.Ps: arrive early on Saturdays (before 7pm) as we arrived at 8pm and weren't able to eat the ribs.“
“Exceptionally tasty food offered at this stylish restaurant. We got cauliflower wings, nachos, and a delicious soup. Everything was outstanding including the drinks that had a beautiful presentation.Last, but not least our server was great (I wish I remembered her name!). She really made our day. We gave her some tips of vegan options in Austin, TX (Nori - vegan Japanese restaurant) and New York.If you are in Nashville, Avo is a must place to dine.Note: there is a public parking 100 feet away that allows one to park for free for the first 2 hours.“
“This was the best restaurant we visited in Nashville. The food was really really incredible. Every dish was executed at a very high level, but not too "over the top". Our server was absolutely great.Again, back to the food. It was stunning. The steak was epic. The chicharrones were to die for. The tartare was on point and the Kentuckyaki lettuce wraps, yum. The drinks were equally well done. The atmosphere was a bit odd to me, but this isn't the fault of the restaurant. Being from Toronto Im used to being in a room that's very multicultural no matter where I go - this was (perhaps by chance only) an extremely homogeneous room of just middle aged white people like me, and then my Indian wife - I didn't think I'd ever notice that but I did, and that was weird. It was like I went back in time. Hard to describe it - again I'm certain it's maybe just by chance, or the area, but odd.“
“Amazing service and super good coffee! We got the goo-goo cluster inspired one and it was so unique! I love the vibe and also free street parking. Would come back for sure! The barista was so sweet and went the extra mile for us. We are on a coffee crawl today sharing drinks and she portioned it out for us evenly without even being asked.“
“I may have had the best meal of my 55-year life! I had the scallops (off-menu special) and my husband had the pork chops. What an amazing explosion of flavors in both dishes! Lobster bisque was subtle (not too salty) and rich - so good! And the service was off the charts fantastic! Props to Max and Andrew! Delicious wines and great live music, which wasn't too loud. We could still talk easily. The only cons were the Brussels sprouts, which are brought out as a complementary extra, but they were just steamed and lightly seasoned. I like Brussels sprouts, but these were simply not great (like why bother?). And the seating was not super comfortable. Bench seat was hard - per my husband - and my chair was really low and the table had a large pedestal bottom, so between those two and my long legs, I had to sit sideways. But it won't stop us from coming back. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Excellent meal and lovely evening!“
“My friend took me to Urban Grub today and I highly recommend it.Sorry for the less than normal review. We were chatting too much for me to give you a deep analysis of the service or atmosphere. We haven't seen each other in a bit and had a lot to catch up on, but:Our oysters were amazingly fresh, and they have a few options to choose from. They come with excellent accompaniments, too.The crab beignets weren't exactly as we'd hoped, but they were alright. They were really wet in the middle, and with the name we were expecting more dough. I brought a few home and actually think they might be better reheated to dry them out just a little bit. The flavor was good.We shared the dry aged burger, med-rare, and it was absolutely delicious. That was definitely the highlight of the meal!I'm glad we split it (and after hearing we were splitting it, they brought it to the table on two plates cut in half!) because I would be more ridiculously full then I am now.If you get the chance to go, do it!“
“Absolutely loved this place for our date night! I searched for a date night restaurant bc we are from NC & this place surpassed all my expectations! Our waiter was Alejandro, who was super knowledgeable & so very kind! The manager came over and thanked us for dining with them & was also very kind. I would absolutely come here again & definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!! We had such a lovely, romantic dinner! Thank you, Red Pony!!“
“I had a very tasty breakfast here on a Sunday morning. I would recommend getting there early because by the time I left, it was packed! I sat at the bar and it was packed too! I ordered the country breakfast with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, and a biscuit. I subbed the pork options for a piece of fried chicken breast (there is a $4 upcharge for this I believe). I also ordered a latte which was sooooo tasty. I nearly ordered two but decided against that. My meal came out promptly and everything looked great. The chicken was seasoned and tender with a nice crispy skin. The biscuit was small but fluffy and buttery. The hashbrowns were way too oily, so I pretty much skipped those. I would definitely come back here. The decor was nice and the staff was even better. There is a lot of parking in this area so you shouldn't have to worry about that part. They also have mimosas!“
“Had a GREAT time at the drag brunch! It’s a bit off the beaten track - especially if you are making your own way there, like I did (vs the excursion buses). Initially we thought we had the wrong place because it looked like a virtually empty bar with pool tables, but that was just the bar area before you get taken through to the adjacent venue for the brunch. The performers were engaging, funny and actually very talented. Super funny and great energy. No regrets here, I’m glad we were able to go and check it out. Recommend!“
“Hands down the best all around dinner experience in Nashville. Presentation was off the charts! This was our first time visiting, they had a “Christmas Eve” menu which looked delicious but we came with our hearts set on the steak; no questions asked the kitchen was happy to adjust, we received the best steak we have tasted yet! The staff was beyond wonderful, the atmosphere was perfect. Love love loved Yolan; this will be a must have every time we visit Nashville! Thank you Yolan for the perfect Christmas Eve experience!“
“Hannah H was AMAZING!!! She was speedy and friendly and knowledgeable (especially on the gluten free options). She had patience for our friend that took forever in ordering. And didn’t judge our other friend for being picky and asking for everything to be taken off. Thanks Hannah H!Dietary restrictions: They had good options for people with celiacs.“
“The food was amazing! I love my katzu iberico ham and the sauce it was served on was such a good complement! The Japanese fried chicken was mouth watering. Lots of very cool cocktails, my favorite was the Andorra. All of the staff was very nice and they all remembered us when we came back a second night for drinks!“
“Our waitress was beyond friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable with options. Great suggestions and the food was incredible. She also suggested the smoked option for our old fashioned drinks, and we thought the Sidecar with the experience of adding the smoke right by our table was a great add on. We sat right in front of the stage and the live music was fantastic. I celebrated my 39 birthday and couldn’t have been happier with choosing the Supper Club! Can’t wait to come back again when we are in town again.“
“You don’t feel like you are in the business direct of Nashville. The vibe in this place is amazing. The service is 5⭐️ from the moment you walk in to the Black Rabbit. The rabbit rolls are incredible. Really any of their bread is a must order. The cherry glazed tuna was a stat in itself. We complimented it with the spiced tomato polenta which was very nice. For our mains, we had the half roast chicken and the ribeye. The chicken is one you’d ask for as your last meal. Tommy’s attention to detail is incredible. He was not happy with our steak and had it redone. It gave us more time with the chicken and the steak was worth the wait. The flavor the wood fire gives it is one of the best flavors ever. If you haven’t been here you need to try it for date night.Bonus: the live music is very good and not an intrusion to your dinner experience.“
“We tried the sampler with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. It comes with a half rack of ribs, which is about 6. Four family sized (pint) sides plus 4 slices of toasted cornbread, which felt generous. We had double mac n cheese, grits (which I had to try because they sounded amazing, and they were), and baked beans. We also added 2 pulled pork sandwiches and our tab was just under $100. There 5 in our party including two teen boys and it was more food than we could comfortably finish. I can honestly say that every single item was beyond delicious. We picked Edley's because we looked at the top 3 bbq recs for Nashville, and we had already tried one (it was good, but not our fave bc the ribs were dry rub / dry) and the other one had menu prices quite a bit steeper than Edley's. Although we ended up ordering a sampler that was definitely pricy, it was worth it. We showed up at 9 pm on a Friday & there was no wait. You order at the counter on arrival, drinks are self serve, and they deliver your food. I ended up skipping the tip at the register and leaving a cash tip - I hate being asked to tip before service is rendered. We will be back!“
“Fabulous!! Waitress was tremendous, good balance of being available yet letting us talk and enjoy each other's company. Food was outstanding. Had perfectly seared and prepared scallops. Atmosphere was very elegant but comfortable.Marsh House is attached to the Thompson Nashville by Hyatt, great property and great location in the Gulch. We will definitely be back when we visit Nashville.“
“I had such a great experience here, what a great place to stop in and check out if you’re traveling alone. The bartender I had named Eric was so nice and friendly. Eric helped create a drink catered to my taste preferences which was impressive seeing that this bar did not have a menu for cocktails but had their employees asked what your drink preferences were instead and made a cocktail based on what you liked which I thought was so cool! Very memorable and Eric also gave me some great suggestions on what to do as a tourist visiting the city. The experience overall felt very personable and inclusive. I will most definitely be back here the next time I visit Nashville.“
“Met amazing people out here from visiting from out of town and some really incredible volleyball. 2 Courts are awesome with lights. If you have your own ball you can typically come and play earlier than the opening time. Overall loved it. Right beside our hotel.“
“This place’s Birria Tacos are to die for! Genuinely think it’s the only place in Nashville that’s gotten the birria taco trend down correct. The hot chicken tacos are also simply delicious. Really good twist on the hot chicken trend that actually turn out delicious. Add in the different flavored margaritas, especially during happy hour, and this is such a delicious fun spot to spend a couple hours! Even the salsa served is top quality, it’s not just a simple bland salsa a lot of places may serve. The price point is solid for some really good quick food.Been to the other location a couple times, but stumbled on this one recently and this one is a lot better. Our waitress/bartender was so personable and made the whole experience so enjoyable!Parking: The only downside is probably the parking. You have to pull immediately off the main road into a diagonal parking spot, so when backing out you’ll be backing out into traffic. Theres very limited spots and if you can’t get one into front of the restaurant you’ll have to park down further or a road behind and walk.“
“This place is outstanding! I go to edley’s at least once a week if not twice. Where else can you go get a kids meal that includes a drink for $5? No where! Their sweet tea is sweet but not too sweet. And the people are great! I came in one evening and the place was crowded. But not one person was rude. And I know they had to be frustrated but they didn’t let it show. I could keep going but I’ll stop.“
“If I could give the service six stars, I would!! My friend has an onion allergy, and chef Mike went out of his way to accommodate her allergy. He even mashed up avocados for her and brought the food out personally. Our waitress Courtney was amazing, as well. She gave recommendations and was so quick and personable. Best place we’ve been to in Nashville, by far. Also, the food is AMAZING.“
“I liked the atmosphere. My baby back ribs were tender, and the taste was really good. The fries had a satisfying crunch to them.I didn't care for the Mac and chesse, at all, needed way more cheese to take the bland out of them. Knocked the food score down a star.My son had the brisket and mashed potatoes. They were good, but not on the level of the ribs.“
“Wow Pullman, this was the perfect place to celebrate a very special occasion. You can truly feel the love and attention in every detail from the decor to the menu. The drinks were absolutely fabulous, and big thanks to the mixologist for helping us choose from the extensive list. Still thinking about the cheerful Sleeping Car cocktail (and the wallpaper.) Don't miss the onion dip and General Tso Cauliflower. Thank you thank you for such an incredible experience!!“
“We come here all the time and love it. The food is impeccable every time, and the cocktails are delicious. We prefer to wait for a seat at the expansive bar top instead of making a reservation. At the bar top, you will be well taken care of by Lex and Logan. We also can’t speak highly enough of Victoria, one of the owners. She is always present, supporting her staff, and has an amazing memory for faces / names. Thank you for being a neighborhood gem!“
“Great service. We had a large group & the staff were kind enough to place several tables togther for my mom's birthday #74. The food was delicious and so many choices!! Thank you #edleysbbq y'all Rock!!♡Vegetarian options: My nephew was surprised & delighted at his choices at a bbq joint. He said he'd be back with his girlfriend .“
“Everything from the moment you check in to the moment you leave is fantastic. We started with drinks at the little bar, and every cocktail was delicious. The service is impeccable; everyone is so personable and welcoming. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. We are super excited to come back and try another menu.“
“This is almost as perfect as a lounge could be. Excellent service with sweeping views of the city. Layout was elegant with upbeat background music that was noticeable but permitting conversation. I had my trusty old fashioned which gave me the expected satisfaction. I ventured to have the disco inferno cocktail which had a presentation as potent as its smoky flavor and strength. I would recommend slow easy sips on this one!“
“I wasn't feeling very well , but I was hungry so I had the chicken quesadilla.it was delicious!!the dip for the chips was great! ,not too spicy. My server was great too. I don't remember his name, but when I go back there I will Ask for him to be my server again.“
“What a great spot! The owners and the staff were really attentive and hospitable, recommending dishes and drinks. The vibe was great, not too packed, and the music was really good too!We can't wait for the weather to get nicer so we can enjoy some time out back in their patio area!“
“DATE OF VISIT : 2.22.24I was thinking about this place for days after eating here. I just moved to KY from AZ and was really needing a taste of good sushi like back home. Took a weekend trip to Nashville and this spot did NOT disappoint. This place exceeded expectations. Not only did it satisfy the craving, but It made me excited to visit Nashville again! Service was wonderful and the atmosphere was laid back. Very enjoyable dinner.“
“The breakfast tacos & beignets were incredible. My friend also had eggs benedict & raved about it. Our server Chyler was SO amazing. She was personable, attentive & so sweet. We will definitely be requesting her next time we visit!“
“Harriet's Rooftop Bar in Nashville is a true gem with stunning views and a vibrant atmosphere. Nikki's warm and personable service made my experience exceptional. The cocktails are delicious, the food is fantastic, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable night out.“
“Good spot for cocktails in the Gulch. Gertie’s has one of the largest spirit selections in Nashville! The cocktails are very good and the service is also very good. Sometimes it gets crowded and the bar staff falls a little behind, but to me it’s a great way to have conversation and enjoy the atmosphere while we wait for our drinks to arrive. I recommend this place for before or after dinner drinks.Did you find this review helpful? If so, hit the like button below!“
“super cool spot! unassumingly chill considered its on 12S but they have excellent service, reasonable prices, and great food! get a bloody mary, bleu potato wedges, and blackened tilapia tacos!! also keep an eye out for the daily drink specials like 2 for 1 beers on tuesday, $5 mules on wednesday, and $5 mimosas / $7 bloodys on sunday! worth noting that they have an extensive vegan / gluten free menu as well“
“I love this distillery. We took a tour with Amanda. She was awesome. We were heading out to another distillery or so we thought. Ended up drinking here after the tour and never left.Staff is great, drinks were delicious, and the tour was fun. This is a short tour as it is very small, but samples are plentiful. My favorite was the rye whiskey. We will return on our next visit.“
“THE BEST COFFEE IN FRANKLIN. I haven't tried the whiskey yet but I can only presume it is JUST AS GREAT!!! I come here 2-3 times a week. Such a great multifaceted environment to work, hang with friends, or chat with the barista's or bartenders. I can't imagine someone walking in here without leaving happier and better than they were before they came in... that is... unless you walk in after they've finished serving coffee... BUT they still serve pour overs into the night!!!Grateful for this place and the memories I've made here over the past year. Thank you Stable Reserve, Cami, Tyler, Brodie, and the rest of the amazing team.-Darrick Landreneauinsta: @Darrick“
“The other cocktails here (non absinthe based) are AMAZING!! 10 out of 10. You can tell the guys (Jordan & Jeremy) running this bar are incredible at what they do. They make REAL CRAFT cocktails.I think the owner isn't doing any favors to their business by labeling it an absinthe bar. This cocktail bar is one of the best in the city, ...unfortunately too much business gets pushed away by the "absinthe" label. We almost didn't come. I'm SO thankful we came, I was in shock at the untapped potential of this place.“
“Found this cute little place on a pub tour. Great vibe and cozy. Perfect place to go for a drink to get away from all the chaos of lower broadway. Plus they have these amazing frozen shots. Highly recommend you visiting this lost gem. Staff and owner were very welcoming!“
“Took the tour here and it was really fun. Short and sweet, but you have a great tasting experience at the end where you can try some of Corsair's Mainstays as well as some other unique experimental spirits. The staff was friendly and it was something cool to do at the old Marathon Auto building.“
“We visited this rooftop bar twice while staying at The Noelle. Typical drinks, and I had a very good Old Fashioned. Decent food, although not an extensive menu. Service was decent. One night had a good guitar player singing and taking requests. Good view of the Batman building.“
“Had the chance to celebrate a friend's party here, and I must say, we really liked this place. We arrived comparatively early, which was good for catching the place before it got too crowded. One of the highlights was definitely the live music; it seems there are groups performing from time to time, adding a great touch to the atmosphere. The drinks weren't bad, though if I had one critique, it would be that the drinks are pre-made rather than freshly prepared. While convenient, I personally prefer my drinks mixed on the spot for that extra freshness. The unique atmosphere is another point worth mentioning. Knowing that this spot was an old laundromat before being transformed into a bar adds a cool, quirky element to the whole experience. It's not something you find everywhere, and it gives the place a unique character and a story to tell.Overall, if you're looking for a spot with a great vibe, some live music, and a bit of history, this bar is definitely worth checking out. Just keep in mind the note about the drinks if you're particular about them being mixed fresh.“
“One of the best experiences I have ever had with bourbon. From getting in and the knowledge of the bartender Matt and the waitress Serena it was amazing. This place is a must to go to simply for the experience. There is a dress code but they do provide a jacket if you aren’t wearing a collard shirt. Still very laid back and enjoyable.Try the Old Fashion and the Brown Derby.“
“This is one of my favorite little overlooked spots in Nashville. Pitcher margaritas, the best cheese enchiladas in Nashville and incredibly attentive and friendly service! It’s affordable, family friendly, delicious and fast. The bathrooms are always clean, they keep the high-chairs wiped down (you know what I’m talking about parents) and there’s a nice little patio seating area as well!Seriously get the enchiladas, they’re so good I have at least one every time I’m there and I had them delivered to me at the maternity ward in the hospital :)Dietary restrictions: If you have celiac disease or you’re gluten-free there are lots of options for you! Tacos, fajitas, enchiladas etc.Parking: There is a huge lot with plenty of spaces!Kid-friendliness: This place is great for kids. There are big booths for the whole family, clean high-chairs and kid-approved menu options.“
“Del Frisco's is our favorite spot in Brentwood! Tahj, our waiter, was not just attentive but incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful in providing recommendations. The food was exceptional! Del Frisco's, with Tahj's excellent service, is definitely a top pick for anyone looking for a crowd-pleaser lunch or dinner location.“
