“Our service and food were excellent. Salad bar was fresh and delicious with multiple selections. Waitress was attentive to us, and our order was correct and refills on drinks.I had the ribeye and was cooked properly, and she had the fried shrimp basket, and they crispy and fresh. We can't wait for our next opportunity to visit here.“
“I passed a BBQ called "Pit Stop" in town that was jam-packed with the lunch crowd, and a few miles farther on I rolled past this spot. The smoker out back was billowing, and the parking lot was pretty full...so I turned around and headed back.It's an "order at the counter and come get it" place - no waitresses. The menu is chalked on the wall to the right, with prices listed including the tax which is kinda cool. Good selection including the obligatory pulled pork (known simply as BBQ hereabouts), tenderloin, shoulder, chicken breast, pork chops, and burgers and hotdogs.They have mayo slaw AND vinegar slaw - more about them in a minute, as well as the other usual side suspects. No fries, no baked potatoes.I ordered the tenderloin and both kinds of slaw - I do love slaw and the other sides were pretty standard fare.I also ordered "medium" sauce, which was delivered on the side. It was a half full coffee cup with a lid, loosely wrapped in aluminum foil and was plenty. BBQ sauce in this region seems pretty localized. Here it was a vinegar-base sauce that is a really thin consistency. There was a bottle of Mild Sauce on the table already, labeled "Shake Well Before Each Use." The medium looked like they just added some cayenne to the mild for a little kick. Both sauces were good and complemented the tenderloin wellThe tenderloin was a bit dry - as are pretty much every one of 'em I've ever had - but had a great texture and flavor. The sauce kind of soaked in to the meat and made it even better.The slaw on the left is the mayo slaw - it was a tiny bit sweet with a slightly nutty flavor, and not quite as crunchy as the other.The vinegar slaw was a little more crispy (may have just been a bit fresher?) and had a great sweet/sour flavor. The dressing on this type of slaw is watery and if it's not sweetened too much, I love it! (This was just right!)The plate was topped off with a couple slices of white bread and made for a great lunch. The only thing that would have improved it for me was a couple slices of onion and a couple dill pickle spears...but that's probably just the Okie in me.All in all, I recommend this place as a great spot to stop off for lunch. The "unusual" sauce (to me) and the two kinds of slaw alone made it worth a try.Parking: Plenty of parking, there are spots next to the building, in front closer to the road, and along the sides of the lot.“
“The Lafayette Sonic has got better. The service is super nice. Its delivered in good time. I work at the Pig, next lot down, i can have 5 mins left before i got to clock back in from lunch and ill order a large drink. Theyll have it out to me fast enough for me to get back and parked and walk in and clock in. The food is much better than westmoreland. I love Sonic its a great place to take the kiddos. Plus its the only place you can get a chili frito pie. ?“
“Me & my Boyfriend always order our food made to order, and they acctually do make it to order per request instead of saying yes but throwing in old food anyways. which is much appriciated.. as i love my food fresh. Also the manager i dont know her name but bless her heart for dealing with me always asking her to make me fresh chicken fries! Shes amazing. She runs a Great staff . Very impressed.“
“Nothing wrong with the food but the last few times I ordered biscuit and gravy with a side order of bacon once I get home no bacon but was charged for it. I have ordered the same twice since and made sure to check the order before leaving the drive-thru and both times still no side order of bacon.“

“Restroom was clean, the lady that took our order was very nice & made sure she had everything correct. She seemed like she really enjoyed her job and wanted to do it right ?%. So hard to find these days. I wish I could remember her name. I get a quarter pounder hamburger because I like the taste of it better than the others, no cheese and dressed like a Big Mac. My grandson taught me that when he worked for them. It's wonderful ?“
“The young lady there was EXTREMELY HELPFUL! I'm allergic to cheese products. After me telling her I didn't want any cheese, she carefully told about any item that had cheese like items without me saying anything else about it. She even helped me pick the best matched items or modified my order.“
“Very kind, respectful, and polite at the drive-through. The food was fresh and hot. The second trip around for icecream cones was great as well.We are from out of town (Chesapeake, Virginia) visiting family. We have been to many DQ's and this one is very clean with hard workers. Hats off to the staff!“
