“Let me just say that this place doesn’t look like much but, boy does it pack a punch!! Honestly, one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve ever had! Fresh and made to order. I was afraid of a frozen patty soaking in a crockpot of water but, no!! It was soooo good! The fries are also addicting! I grabbed a strawberry milkshake and it was slapping my tongue with delicious goodness! This is a MUST STOP for anyone visiting the area! Our 4 year old absolutely loved it too!! Outdoor dining and a mom and pop atmosphere. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and professional. We will definitely be back!!!“
“Mobile orders are supposed to make your life easier, but I find that those that are ordering their food AT the restaurant get their food before I do, almost ALWAYS.... It should at the very least be an equal/comparable amount of time...my orders are small and easy, it would be different if it was a huge amount of food.“

“This is some of the best ice cream I've ever had! The atmosphere was great, and there was a play area for the kids. The ice cream comes with sauces and one other topping. I had the strawberry cheesecake ice cream, and it was absolutely fantastic. The workers were also very friendly and cheery even though we came close to closing time.“

“I came during Oak Ridge's annual Lavender Festival, and saw that this shop made lavender ice cream. I am not typically adventurous with my palate, but *everyone* was getting that flavor, so how bad could it be? Spoiler: It was AMAZING. It had a subtle berry type of flavor, and was very refreshing. It was also pretty cheap compared to most ice cream shops. The line was long due to the Lavender Festival, but it was well worth the wait. 10/10 I'd come here again.“
“I went there at 730 on 12/22/23 and I was looking in the cooler for prepackaged pints and I didn't see what I wanted. I was willing to grab my second choice but the young man working at that time had recognized that I was lookin for something and was struggling to find it. “Delicious hamburgers. They are smash burgers so if you're looking for something that's giant and juicy this may not be up your alley. Food takes a little long to get to you but that is because they cook it there fresh for you when you order. Shoestring fries were deliciously crispy and warm. Hot dog was great and service was amazing. Did not try the custard yet but when I definitely go back I will be trying that too.Edit: After some time, Freddy's has grown on me so much. If I'm ever out here my mother always asks for me to bring home a pint or two of the brownie custard. The service here is always top notch and the food is the absolute best! I'm lucky it's not closer to me because I'd lose all my money eating here nonstop. Can not recommend highly enough!“
“It's a classic dessert shack. They have an excellent selection of snow cones, milk shakes, soft serve and smoothies. I take my family there many times during the spring and summer. I don't mind waiting a little while for my order if they are busy. My only disappointment is that they are closed on Sundays because that is the best day to relax with a frozen dessert.“
