“Delicious food with friendly service in a down home atmosphere that is exactly what you hope for. Service was slow but that was partly due to us eating dinner early. Definitely a place we will return as the menu is full of great selections we look forward to trying.“
“Beautiful views from inside the windows. The food was average. I had a vegetable plate and there was little seasoning and only meh in taste. Presentation was definitely lacking. Mostly old folks who appear to be regulars were eating. Lunch was $12.00 for three veggies and tea. They do include cornbread with every meal. There is a gift shop within the restaurant that was nice. I would not eat there again.“
“Hubby and I have been missing Waffle House since we've been in states where there wasn't one. I don't know if it's because we have been away. But this was the best meal we've ever had at one. This location was packed. But yet they were ontop of cleaning off tables, friendly attitudes. We will definitely be back before we leave Tennessee.“
“After riding the atv trails all day we were all extremely hungry and decided to give Harrisons a try. There were 3 adults and 4 children and we all absolutely loved our food. The steaks were delicious, the bread excellent and sides equally as good. The chicken sandwhich, steal pasta and chicken pasta were fantastic as well. The waitress was kind and attentive and the price was reasonable. We would 100% recommend and will go back.Parking: Large easy to manuever parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options for kids and plenty of spacious tables.“
“WELL I SURE WONT BELIEVE SOME OF THESE REVIEWS. I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE EVERY WEEK AFTER VISITING THE MONT IN WILLIAMSBURG THIS STORE HAS GREAT CHILI DOGS FRIENDLY STAFF ESPECIALLY DAVID AT DRIVE THROUG AND IN STORE EASY TO GET GAS. FAR FROM THE NEGATIVE ONES THAT ARE WRONG AND NOT ACCURATE“
“Not a bad buffet overall. The beef and short ribs were overcooked, but most everything else was good. The catfish was good and the green beans were seasoned perfectly. The shining star of our visit was our server, Jordan! She was sweet and so attentive, checking on us several times to see if we needed anything. She is an asset to the restaurant!“
“My son and I went for lunch today for the first time. The food was great with good prices, great service, sweet tea was so good and they kept our cups full without even asking. Servers were very nice. We will for sure go back and recommend to family and friends.“
“Had a delicious dinner of generous portions. Service was great and the food - even better! We had the Rueben, the Lil Woody cheeseburger and the Down South Pork Bowl. Thank you for a tasty dinner that was delivered quickly - we'll be back!“
“We were a group of 20+ individuals in town for an event and everybody was very happy with their dining experience at Fire & Salt. Gabriel was fantastic to work with at time of booking, including when we had to make alterations to our reservation on two separate occasions. Brittany and Whitney, our wait staff, were quick, charming, and very personable people that made our whole group feel very welcome. Last but certainly not least, the cuisine and drinks were superb - excellent price for the amazing quality and presentation. Highly recommended to anybody local or coming in to visit from out of town!Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of space.“
“What a Rueben! Their sandwiches, panini, and pizza are always so good! The outdoor patio with live music is fun. We don't drink, and we still love going there for the food and occasional music. It's a fun atmosphere, almost like being on a beach vaca. Music is hit or miss, but the food is always yummy - and you can always sit inside the restaurant as well.“
“This place is wonderful! The food is delicious and they have something for everyone here. We love D&B!Kid-friendliness: They gave my little girl 3 sheets of stickers to keep her busy while eating. She ended up spilling her drink and before I even had a chance to get up one of the staff was at our side moving our food to another table and cleaning the mess up.“
“Friday April 12,20241:00 p.m.Last week we were in the area for a Funeral and we had a Family of 19 wanted to go to AUBREY'S(They don't take reservations we were told) But Their Staff WAS AMAZING!!?We had to wait only like 10 minutes to get enough tables for us all. AND they did so awesome ?I was so impressed with them all!!! ? After we all got seated Our Waiter and Waitress ask who wanted water's and went to get them, the ask us our Drink orders, from Mixed drinks to beer to Sodas. Then served those, then to Food orders... It didn't take long at all to receive our food and boy let me tell you, I personally got the Catfish,(very generous portions) Mac and cheese and sweet tea. It was so YUMMYOLA... ?Not over cooked, no thick breading on it, it was perfect.? My Nephew ordered the Turkey Club and it was very good he said, Others got Chicken Fingers, Steak, Burgers, to Salads... Everyone loved their meals!!? Even my Aunt loved their Hard Cider from the bar... ?So if ya wanna get away from the hustle in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge take a ride to Knoxville/ Powell Tennessee..I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this establishment....10 stars from us!!??????????Aubrey's Powell214 E Emory Rd, Powell, TN 37849Parking: Great parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“A clean restaurant. The server was really nice and attentive. The food is good. Try the elk burger and rosemary fries! They have a decent beer selection. Unfortunately, the beer on tap wasn't cold enough. Minus the beer not being cold enough, it was an above average dining experience.“
“My Wife and I had been wanting to try Fox's Diner for a while and today we was in the area and we stopped and I am sooo glad that we did.I had the catfish dinner and I don't have one bad thing to say about it. The fish was thick and cooked to perfection, the dish came with crinkle cut fries, cole slaw and hush puppies. The sides was just as good as the fish too ! My Wife had the 6 pc. chicken tenders plate and it came with crinkle cut fries also. The pieces of chicken was big and juicey and she could not finish her meal so she got a to-go box for her things. Now to the wait staff, We had a young man waiting on us and he had to be the most polite and professional young man that I have seen in a long time and I later found out the he was the owners son. Mom and Pop should be proud of their son and their business because me and my wife will be returning. Fox's Diner is a family owned restaurant with a comfortable feeling about it and our opinion of this Diner is very high and we will enjoy food with them again. I will rate this visit as 5 star experience.“
“First time at this diner and it was very pleasant. Not what we expected. Being called vols diner we thought tvs would be on sports and music playing. Nope. The atmosphere is actually what you would expect at any roadside diner...sounds of dishes being carried back and forth to the tables and conversation. We both ordered the vols burger with fries and it was so amazing! Very friendly people. We will go back.“
“I love Lulu's. The menu is full of delightful, delicious, and delectable foods. I've probably been here at least a dozen times with different friends over the 5 years we've lived here. It's a go-to for all of us. Lunch with the ladies always feels fancy but never fussy. The atmosphere is absolutely charming, the staff is so kind, and the food is always fresh and tasty. - My husband says, "We should go some time!" I've told him, "Men aren't allowed." ? You will so enjoy Lulu's.“
“Having never experienced Calhoun's resturant before, I was so impressed with the service, food...the entire atmosphere of this amazing place. They where very accommodating to us from the time we entered....especially to my being handicapped (using a walker) making several trips to our table to see if everything was ok & was there anything else they could get for us. Truely my family, as well as myself, felt very welcomed & accommodated. I would love you to thank our server(s) for us.We highly recommend anyone living in or visiting Tennessee, definitely stop at Calhoun's for great food, service, & welcoming atmosphere. Many thanks to you all!!✔️?♥️?Wheelchair accessibility: Very accommodating, in every way...seating, (in or outside) great parking, right up front✔️♥️“
“Great food for a good price. Staff is always very nice. The cheesesteaks are good and hot for 10 to 20 minutes. There is not seating inside, which is fine, so you have to find a spot to eat. There is a public park right across the street. Bring some extra paper towels and wet hand wipes. Drive to a park or any spot and enjoy.“
“We didn't eat but we drank and had a good time!! Ridge Runners was holding a fundraiser for FORAS. There was a good turnout and fun vibe. The place is huge. I had never been inside before. There is plenty of seating and a nice stage for bands. The prices were good. I will definitely be back!“
“Most good hotels have a restaurant attached. Burchfield's is a restaurant with a hotel attached. Been there several times for Sunday night jazz. This year for St Paddy Day. Special Irish menu and 2 Guinness for $8. Shepard's Pie was outstanding. Luke, our waiter was great as usual. We had him other times. Jazz night is Sunday. Call for a schedule. Can't figure if it is once or twice a month. Near as I can tell the "house band" is a group of local jazz musicians who are happy for visitors to sit in. Talent ranges from "pretty good" to "amazing." Bring your ax if you play. For St Patrick's day the gang was hot. Three sax, a bone, two guitars, trumpet, keyboard, drums, vocals. At least three people sat in on the drums. Great food. Reasonable prices. No cover. Fun to watch jazz talent improvise and play off each other. Don't for get to tip the band too!“
“This isn't my normal Waffle House. Walking in no one said or anything. I said hello to one of the girls & got no reply. The women who waited on me was very nice, friendly, refilled my coffee ect. If it wasn't for her my scores would of been lower! Not likely I'll go back to this one!“
“We've never had a bad meal here! Highly recommend the salmon! I had the cesar salad with wild salmon tonight and it was delicious!! Hubby said his burger was cooked perfectly, and it was tender, juicy and delicious. If you haven't tried 201 Cafe and Wine Bar, please do .... it's a local gem! (nope, no affiliation whatsoever to the establishment)“
“Nice locally owned deli with fresh Craft Style bread made daily. The deli is conveniently located in Powell. Their whole sandwich size is big enough to feed two people. Southern Kitchen has a nice variety of classic and specialty sandwiches also tasty salads. Their current hours are only during the week...closed Saturday and Sunday. The staff is friendly and helpful with both dine in and take out service.“
“Amended review. While wait staff was excellent our waitress was awesome she is like no bill and we are so sorry. The food left something to be desired. It was disgusting posting a picture of the big nasty hair in my dumplings! I know it wasn't mine as I have Bright red hair. This hair was black, be warned looking at the picture if you have a weak stomach will make you puke! I saw it looked across the table my mom panicked she said," it isn't a hair is it?" She knew by the look on my face that yes in fact it was a big old greasy hair. Laws help me I was so disgusted I could have puked up my toenails. The windows were filthy in fact mom said, "they need to get a local company to clean the windows." She cracks me up. Anywho unless you ask for a side of hair, look at your food thoroughly and the kitchen crew need to clean up their act. It was MCNASTY! It's sad Cracker Barrel used to be my most fave place to eat. I have been so disappointed in them recently. @CrackerBarrel do better!Update: The store manager got in touch with me apologized, and offered two free meals. That was kind! I appreciate it. I am thankful his staff were so kind. So will I go again yes! If you show me kindness I will show you kindness. So for the staff I would give a hundred stars.“
“I came during Oak Ridge's annual Lavender Festival, and saw that this shop made lavender ice cream. I am not typically adventurous with my palate, but *everyone* was getting that flavor, so how bad could it be? Spoiler: It was AMAZING. It had a subtle berry type of flavor, and was very refreshing. It was also pretty cheap compared to most ice cream shops. The line was long due to the Lavender Festival, but it was well worth the wait. 10/10 I'd come here again.“
“This is a great buffet. There are so many delicious options to choose. The sushi is the best I have had at a buffet. I would like to see the beef at the Mongolian grill to be sliced instead of cubed. I think it would be much easier to eat.“
“Exceptional waitress. Everything I expected for a breakfast bar. Was refreshed constantly. And what I wanted, Tennessee country ham. Arrived before lunch and my uncle enjoyed the switch to the lunch menu. Biscuits and gravy potatoes yes. Definitely would recommend“
“Just like most eateries, Aubrey's over cooks salmon, which should be slightly pink inside so it is still more tender than it is "done". Other than this I like Aubrey's very much, we eat there often as a family. The service is good as well as the drinks.“
“4th time we've eaten there and it will be our last. After a 5-7 wait, a waitress came over to take our drink order. I ordered a coke and my spouse ordered unsweetened tea. After our drinks were brought,@ least 10 minutes went by before another waitress came by. She apologized for the 1st waitress not coming back to take or food order.I ordered a vegetable plate and my husband ordered a fried shrimp dinner. In the meanwhile, the restaurant was emptying out of diners. We watched people all around us being served and eating it, getting up, paying and leaving and we hadn't even gotten our food.My husband flagged our original waitress down and asked her if we should just pay for our drinks and forget about the food order. She just shrugged her shoulders and walked off.Long story a little shorter, after a 45 minute wait, we finally got our food. It was not good @ all. I wanted to leave within the first 10 minutes, but hubby kept saying, let's just give them a few more minutes.Again, we won't be back.“
“Their sweet tea is the fluid of the soul! I absolutely LOVED the deep fried zucchini and highly suggest it. I loved the down home atmosphere, and brought back strong memories shared with My Grandparents, Northern girl raised southern. The roast beef and gravy needed some salt and pepper, but I wasn't unsatisfied. I had to stop myself from taking a third sweet tea ! If you are driving through Clinton, be sure to stop here and nowhere else! The waitress was amazing, and I loved her character.“
