“After reading many positive reviews, we decided to try it for ourselves tonight. We were not disappointed! We both got the catfish plate, one with fries and coleslaw, and the other with fries and baked beans. The catfish filet was huge! Everything was hot and fresh. The baked beans and coleslaw had an amazing flavor. The fries were hot and crispy, as requested. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a delicious meal.”

“This was my first time having dinner here. It was a lot of food and delicious! I had the country fried steak with white gravy, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, Mac and cheese and a delicious dinner roll. I wanted to try the peach cobbler that the friendly other diners recommended, but I couldn't even eat all my food and had to get a to go box. I'll try it next time with coffee. I highly recommend trying this place! I'll be back for sure. Five stars for a job well done ?”

“Been going there for 2 years now. I am new in town and thank full that somebody knows how to cook in covington tenn. Nancy is always coming up with new menu items. Her kind nature is genuine. Brought lunch to our home recently, knowing that I was ill from a medical procedure. Angles like this are hard to find.”

“Not all champs chicken locations are equal. This one was ran well when we stopped by. The chicken was fresh, recently made, and the oil was not old. Old oil makes the food darker and have a burntish aftertaste to it. This was a light brown color and no bad aftertaste. The staff was friendly. The sink in mens restroom had too high of pressure. Be very careful when turning it on.”

“There are new owners at this location and I must say the food was great. I ordered the seafood broil with the ginger seasoning the first go around it was more than enough for the price that was paid I enjoyed it very much. Then I went back 2 days ago and ordered the gyro family combo the gyro was really big with a lot of meat in it and they fixed it how I asked great customer service. Keep up the good work”

“I was pleased to experience fine southern hospitality when I went to the new Waffle House in Covington, Tennessee. I was immediately greeted at 3am by two lovely young women who were so authentic that it was unmistakable. And what I noticed, being formerly in the food service industry, was how the two young ladies immediately brought awareness of the menu to me, seeing I looked like a deer in the headlights. They knew how to address everyone's needs without even making it look like a job. They were so bright and optimistic that these two ladies shaped my experience in such a pleasant way that I return often now. I went over the top about quality customer service because after almost 8 years, a transplanted New Yorker felt back home with such extraordinary service. In my 8 years in Tennessee, these ladies left an impression I'm certainly not gonna forget. And compliments to the cook. The food was amazing! Overall amazing experience.”
