“The employee Bob at the Smoothie King in Hixson, TN definitely deserves a large appreciation/raise for his customer service. This was mt first time I have been to Smoothie King so of course I was confused. He took his time to explain all of my options with what I was looking for. He even had me park in the front of the building so he could provide me samples so I could get the perfect smoothie for myself! He also kindly went inside without saying anything and made my son a smoothie. This was the best experience I have ever had as far as customer service! I recommend 1000/10”

I have had several favorite Mexican restaurants in the Chattanooga area, from La Bamba to El Fogon...but there's very little chance that any place would displace my newest and "bestest" favorite, Spanglish (previously Las Morelianas). I went there yesterday with three friends, we all had completely different dishes, and we were all 100% completely satisfied. Although the tastes of each dish (we all had a bite of each other's) were all perfectly appreciated by all, the big kicker for me was that the manager came around, after my other three friends had been served their entrees, and explained that he was sorry that mine was delayed, but that it had come out of the kitchen on time, but he was not pleased with the way it looked, so he sent it back and had it remade. THAT is customer service, and THAT is what makes a restaurant a cut above the rest. I am sorry that I can't remember our lovely waitress's name, but her attention to our need (including refilling our drinks before we even asked) was top notch. I can't say enough good things about this place; everything was not only a cut above the rest, it was all simply perfection, and all four of us agreed on that. Eat Here! You won't ever regret it.”

“I moved here 2 years ago and this was the first place I stop for dinner and since the first day they treated me like a local. The bartender asked me : You are not from here don’t you? And I said, No, I just moved with my family, and from there she started suggesting what to get from the menu, put me up to date with the area, and not only she introduced me to some of their regular customers she even recommended other restaurants, schools and even a good church. The staff has always been nice, but yes sometimes they are a little busy, what is understandable. Coming from FL I had to wait at least 45 min minimum just to get a table. In some occasions the owner has stopped by my table to say hi and to ask about how the service was going and once he even give me and my cousin to try for free the loaded nachos before they put them in the menu. In my opinion, not only the food has been great, (and I have tried most of the menu), but the staff has been extremely helpful and nice taking in consideration that I was new in the area. So for me this has been a great place so far, service is great, food is good and they try to at least make a personal connection with you which most of the places don’t even care. NYPD is a great place and Im happy we have it here in town.”

“Warning: If you are on a diet, please avoid this place. If you want a moment of, "I don't care!" this is the place. Try to limit yourself to one. Of each. No seconds. Well, except for the really good stuff. Go ahead and get a dozen of the little ones. Have them pick a random selection for you. Be sure to tell them your dislikes, "Nothing with onions or pickles!" for example. You'll find that "little" is not a very good description. But you can tell yourself you haven't been that bad, "I only ate one little cookie" or two. And you won't be lying, they did it for you. I recommend putting each cookie in a separate baggie and putting them in the freezer if you did buy them for yourself. The 10 you didn't eat right away. Or the 12 with a bite in each. For a different experience, break off little pieces of a frozen cookie and pop one in your mouth. As you chew and it defrosts...uh, just trust me on this one. I wonder who on earth would pay so much for a cookie. It turns out I would! You may noticed I have not tried to tell you about the taste. There is a candy bar that claims it is "indescribably delicious". I feel that could be applied to Crumbl cookies.”

She obviously did not have to do any of that and I am so grateful she did because the line was long and it allowed me to wait in line without a screaming baby. Every time I’ve gone to the Wichita Falls location I’ve always had above and beyond customer service.”

“I never write reviews, but I am so enamored by El Jinete that I’m making an exception! I highly recommend this restaurant, which is in the old O’Charley’s on Hixson Pike. I might not call it authentic Mexican food, per se, but the quality is amazing! Their health department cleanliness scores were 100, the AC was rocking, and the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I am a margarita snob, and theirs are very good. My husband is a tough audience, but he was happy with the fajitas. My kids (being kids) were thrilled with the queso. I’m also a tortilla chip snob, and theirs are very good. Personally, I’m in LOVE with the Hawaiian burrito (again, not fully authentic, but that’s what I like about it: a good mix of traditional and new takes on old favorites). They are not stingy with the meat (steak, chicken, and shrimp), and the shrimp isn’t the gross kind with the veins still included. The presentation is also lovely — I wish I could include a picture with this review, but it is clear they take great pride in their establishment, their food, and taking care of their guests. My family has been twice now, so I feel I can confidently say our experiences were not just a fluke and this is a consistently solid addition to the Chattanooga restaurant scape. Again, highly recommend!”

“Choo choo BBQ is a good spot to stop when in a hurry or to take a break from the speed of life. When you want something tasty but without the hefty price tag, pull in or hit the drive through. The pulled pork is a favorite go-to, just be sure to get slaw directly on the sandwich. Their killer baked potatoes are also delicious! If you can handle some heat try everything with spicy barbecue sauce! It's one of a kind!

Parking: Easy to pull in and pull out and the driveway circles the building.”

“The chicken and biscuits from Raise the Roost inside the 7-Eleven on Newtown Road and Providence are, by far, the worst I've ever had. The chicken was either overcooked and dry, with burnt outsides and —likely due to improper fryer temperatures or incorrect timer settings. The coating was thick and cakey, indicating poor preparation. Even the green beans had no seasoning or taste. I recommend not using salt if you decide to season. To top it off, the bathrooms were in horrible and smelly condition. I would've returned the food if I had time. Thumbs down! I took pictures but you cannot upload”

“We had a pleasant experience at Applebee's in Hixson, thanks to our server Gary, who provided quick service. The food arrived promptly, and although the queso was a bit runnier than we prefer, it still tasted okay. The Tex-Mex shrimp bowl and chicken quesadilla salad were both tasty, and the triple chocolate melt was a delightful dessert. Just a friendly tip for servers: if you smoke, please make sure not to smell like it when serving customers.”

“This was my first time eating at Chicken Salad Chick on 7/15/24 Hamilton Place Mall area. The employees were patient and nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere inside of the restaurant. The newspaper article of the company was very informative. I enjoyed the seasonal salad, s'more rice crispy treat, watermelon tea, and strawberry lemonade. They had quality service and cleaned the areas when the customers left.”

“I wrote a bad review about a Starbucks in the Atlanta area some time ago, but I have to also report good service where I get it.

This is by far the best and the friendliest Starbucks I've been to. Right from the store manager Jay to all the baristas, they know your name, they're happy to crack jokes, they know what you want ahead of time and ask you if that's what you want.. they make you feel welcome.
