“Dined here for the first time. Husband and his brother had Scallops. I had the 50oz T-Bone, $150.00 with a great bottle of wine. Very nicely done. This dish came with three sides from the left side of the menu excluding one dish which was explained. Long story short I ordered the $150.00 T-Bone with the three sides being the Brussell sprouts, the potatoes and the oysters. Our server c ame back to say there would be and up charge of $5 for the oysters, maybe $8, now mind you this appetizer WAS included with the offer. When the bill came there was a up charge of $10 for the oysters. So, we went from a $5 upcharge to $10 upcharge. The tip was $75.00 which is not a problem but misinformation is.”

“I haven't been to Carrabba's in a while so had lunch there today. I had the 11.99 trio small plate choosing 1 entree, a salad, and type of soup plus yummy crusty bread with a dipping sauce that they make fresh every day. I can't say enough about the food. Everything was delicious! And generous portions. I couldn't finish it all so the waittress insisted so nicely that she prepare the leftovers for me to take home. I will definitely be go back there again. Great experience!”

“Where do I start? As first-timers, we were mortified to see the perfect view of the kitchen from half the tables in the dining room. We felt fortunate that we were NOT seated at those tables.

We were again surprised at the menus printed on plain colored paper and the paper napkins, given what we had read about the restaurant and its offerings. I had already made up my mind and mentioned to my husband that, no matter how good the food was, I did not expect to want to come back.

But then we tasted the food! I'll be updating this post when I get home, but suffice it to say that the food was worth every penny and then some, as was the incredible service. More pix, more deets coming when I get to a real keyboard.

“This was one of our two “go to” restaurants when I visit Johnson City and have lunch with my mother weekly.
We started going to the other restaurant much more frequently, however, because this restaurant always feels dark inside. And with spring and summer coming up, it would be nice to have a little better lighting! I imagine it would be totally fine for dinner, but for lunch, sometimes it’s so dark inside that it feels a little odd in the middle of the day.
That said, the food is solid. I enjoy the fact they have sushi and other items for me, while still having standard fried-rice-type dishes with the creamy sauce for my mother.”

These were without a doubt the worst wings we have ever had!!! Totally unpalatable!!! The curly fries that were boxed with them were so soggy and oil laden along with being so overly seasoned...., for a company that says JUST WINGS, I can`t imagine that they could surprise anyone with greatness!! This experience was just plain awful! Hope the next customer has a better experience than what we had! Won`t be back!!!”

“My girlfriend and I had Valentine's Day dinner here. It was our first time eating here. I had the salmon and she had beef tips. Both meals were delicious. We finished with dessert. I had cheesecake and she had had bananas foster. Again both were scrumptious. The server was studious and cheerful. The ambiance was cheerful. We will definitely return.”

“Today I ordered the three for twenty at my local Outback establishment. It was an entre with a side, a salad and a piece of cheesecake for twenty dollars. I got the 6oz sirloin and it was so incredibly tender and delicious. I got a wedge salad instead of a half salad and I got a premium side for an additional 3$, the chocolate thunder down under. How amazingly sinfully delicious. This Outback rarely disappoints.”

“We have gotten food to go from here several times now and we just love it. It is FRESH. They pack it very well (sometimes too well! Once my noodles kept cooking on the ride home!) And the flavors are consistently delicious. One of my favorites is the panang curry. It is perfection. The crab rangoons actually have flavor and aren't just cream cheese rangoons like so many other places. My husband favors the Pad Thai and it is also really good. Sometimes I sneak a bite (or three) while plating the food - the flavor of it is straight up addicting. Don't sleep on this place! It's our new favorite food for date night and a movie at home!”

“Great! I had pork BBQ tray, collard greens and BBQ beans. Everything was excellent. I tried just a little of the vinegar bbq sauce base because not usually my favorite but it was very good. I used the traditional sweet southern style sauce and it was my favorite. My husband had a brisket burger and loved it! Also the smoked Mac and cheese and cornbread pudding (think that is what they called it) very very good as well. We enjoyed banana pudding for dessert! We highly recommend!!”

She is kind, informative and just has a great personality. The young gentlemen who cooked our food, gave me great recommendations for a new sandwich. I will also note I observed their shift handoffs and it was seamless. If you haven't tried their sandwiches - do it! You won't be disappointed! And this location is my favorite now. “I've been wanting to try Fuji for a long time and tonight I went there for my birthday and I was impressed by the courteous and polite staff which was a good sign. I had seen the menu as had my girlfriend so we both knew what we wanted so we gave the waitperson, I don't know his name but he did the little bow with folded hands after taking our order which came very quickly I might add. I had a drink called Magic Peach which was very tasty and very strong, the Spring Roll which were good sized crunchy and delicious, the Veggie Gyozyas which were fried to perfection and yummy and lastly the Avocado Roll from the Classic Menu also as good as any I've had. So all in all it was great way to spend my birthday eve, I give Fuji 5 stars! I look forward to my next visit!”

First of all you can't claim NY and be cheap on your toppings, sauce included. At $2.50 a topping | should be having toppings in every bite and this fell short. I wanted to like them because the crust what the right flavor and crispness, and the sauce when you had it on your bite was perfection. But this was like being a teenager getting teased by your bf or gf endlessly waiting for something to happen but never does. And you're left behind wanting more but with overwhelming disappointment at the same time. I know it sounds harsh but just claim it as what it is. Take the NY style off the door unless you want to be more consistent, add extra sauce to your pizza, and quit being cheap on the toppings and make that pie greasy with goodness and you'll have something.”

“We had never been here, but The Down Home was recommended to us a while back. Our party of five stopped in for the first half of an Alexis Wax concert/fundraiser for Erwin. The venue is quaint, but there are plenty of smaller booths and tables for four (we grabbed a spare chair to accommodate us), and a bar selling beer and wine, water is there for free. Food is also available, and everything is posted on their website. The sound was good, we all enjoyed our time, and we look forward to returning when we can stay longer. Definitely recommend The Down Home for live music in Johnson City.”

We ordered a crispy cauliflower appetizer, rack of lamb, pesto penne pasta. The entrees came with a soup or salad. The soup of the day was asparagus soup - it was very tasty. The food was so flavorful, really want to go back and try everything on the menu. Met with Chef Mo too, very friendly and fun to talk to. “My wife and I were in the middle of another contract and traveling. The hotel that her company put us up at was directly across the street from a waffle House. It had been nearly 2 and 1/2 years since the last time I had waffle House and this place was exactly what I wanted it to be. Smothered and covered hash browns, sausage biscuits, and two delicious chicken biscuits. The counter lady was so sweet, everyone in there was just a breath of fresh air.”

“We had lunch at this location today. The food is delicious but I have 2 comments. The penne with white clam sauce is more like Alfredo with clams in it. Delicious but not authentic. White clam sauce should just have olive oil, garlic, clams and clam juice. I cannot recommend the eggplant parmigiana at all. It was paper thin eggplant slices with a thick oily breadcrumb layer smothered in marinara and mozzarella cheese not parmesan. It was not appealing and I couldn’t eat it. But the garlic knots were the best I’ve ever had. Freshly baked and swimming in a very nice garlic butter. The salads were fresh and the calamari was perfect. So I recommend the place just not it’s authenticity and definitely not the eggplant dish!”

“I’ve had two dishes here, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. The Pad Thai was good, the Drunken Noodles will have me coming back again and again! In addition to wonderful food, the employees are very attentive and helpful. I will say, I’ll take quality over quantity, but Tomy Thai has both! I can’t believe the amount of food I’ve gotten. And their mild spice truly is mild, I may try medium next time. Highly recommended!”

“I just had the Philly Egg Rolls and Sweet potato waffle fries and both were absolutely delicious. This place is a great little restaurant that gets it right. If you want amazing food with great service hands down this is the place to come, you won't be disappointed.

I have about 3 favorite smoothies, but many of the others are sub par. The store could use an ambiance upgrade. Unfortunately, the store hours are not conducive to morning hours. A smoothie is something often desired in the morning and opening after 9 AM is not helpful for working folks. I will continue to support the business occasionally, and hope that improvements are recognized and acted upon. Thank you.”
