“One of the first things I noticed was portions are a sensible size. The food is so good, it would seem a shame to eat it too quickly. The coffee was really good, the servers were friendly, respectful, and seemed to CARE about their food interactions with customers. These are the most important things to me. The coffee was excellent too, which is rare, you usually get one or the other. Highly recommend.“
“Had great service, and it was very clean and food was very good. Great place for Breakfast, Lunch, early dinner.Parking: They have lots of parking. It is located at the mall, but you don't go into the mall, really great location.Kid-friendliness: They have highchair for little onesWheelchair accessibility: They have parking for handicapped“
“Honestly a great Waffle House location. Been here twice within a couple of weeks because my Fiance and I have a habit of having breakfast/brunch out on our days off together. Had the idea to do Waffle House since it had been a long time for either of us, and it hit the spot! So much so that we came back again the following week. It's simple food but always good. Employees have been nice each time so far. I'm sure we'll be back again soon!“
“While I'm going to keep this short, it's only because I'm tired! But Ashley our waitress was amazing! She helped relay what I was after perfectly when it came to cooking my bacon.. and Chirs cooked it all to perfection, litterally my top waffle house experience.. coming from someone who eats WH 3x a week.. wish I lived here just to come back tomorrow!I'd like to add that litterally everything was perfect! Even the waffle that seems to always been undercooked elsewhere was litterally perfect ?“
“Staff was incredibly friendly, food was quick and hot. I think my waiters name was Amber, for sure an A name, but she had really good lashes and blonde hair and she was incredible- the cook with her was also very friendly. My friend and I had a great time.“
“Three of us ate here. We were greeted immediately, and the manager and staff were all very friendly. Two of us ordered Colorado omelets with pancakes, and one ordered the chicken fried steak (which was huge) and eggs. The food arrived quickly, was the right temperature, and tasted really good. The staff worked very well together, with various people checking on us, delivering food, and making sure our drinks were filled. The restaurant was busy, but we never felt like we were left wanting for anything. One of our group ordered the Blueberry Pancakes, and we were impressed to see that they actually liked like the picture on the menu. We all enjoyed our food and would be happy to eat here again.“
“Food is great! However to have a restaurant so cold your shivering while eating is not acceptable. We asked waitress multiple times for heat and was told they aren’t allowed to adjust it. Then when I was paying was asked “how was everything?” I said it woulda been great with some heat in the building! Winter months ppl won’t return if it’s warmer outside in 40 degrees vs inside the building.Turn on/up the heat so customers can enjoy the food they are paying for“
“Me and my littles went here on my day off. They have good food it was alittle busy but not too bad. The servers were okay could be a little more welcoming but not everyone is cheery all the time I suppose. Some kind person paid for our meal and that was such a blessing so thankyou.“
“Maple Street Biscuit Company in Johnson City, TN, presents itself as a cozy breakfast joint with a distinctive atmosphere that adds to its appeal. While the food was satisfying overall, it fell short of being outstanding. I recently visited and ordered the Five & Dime with mushroom gravy, which was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. The mushroom gravy was a standout, boasting a rich and delightful flavor that elevated the dish.Accompanying sides like hash browns and biscuit gravy were decent but didn't quite reach the same level as the standout mushroom gravy. They were enjoyable enough but lacked the wow factor that the main dish provided. What truly sets Maple Street Biscuit Company apart is its charming atmosphere. The absence of wait staff adds a unique twist to the dining experience. Instead of traditional table service, customers order at the counter and then await their turn to retrieve their meals. A delightful touch is the inclusion of a cute question during the ordering process, which becomes the identifier for picking up the order. It's these small, quirky details that make dining here memorable and enjoyable. However, if you're considering Maple Street Biscuit Company for a brunch outing, it's worth noting that while they offer mimosas, priced at $10 each, it may not be the most budget-friendly option for those seeking a leisurely brunch experience. Despite this, for a casual breakfast or quick bite, Maple Street Biscuit Company remains a charming choice with reasonable prices, particularly given the portion sizes. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the inviting atmosphere and tasty offerings ensure a pleasant breakfast experience at Maple Street Biscuit Company.Vegetarian options: Mushroom gravy is a mustParking: Lots of parking“
