This dish came with three sides from the left side of the menu excluding one dish which was explained. Long story short I ordered the $150.00 T-Bone with the three sides being the Brussell sprouts, the potatoes and the oysters. Our server c ame back to say there would be and up charge of $5 for the oysters, maybe $8, now mind you this appetizer WAS included with the offer. When the bill came there was a up charge of $10 for the oysters. So, we went from a $5 upcharge to $10 upcharge. The tip was $75.00 which is not a problem but misinformation is.”

“We waited in the bar for an hour while waiting on our table with was ok. The bartender best described as dazed and confused was on the struggle bus. Another employee gave us bread and she tried to take it and give it to someone else. The employee said I just asked if they wanted that and they said yes. Bartender was flustered and walked off. When she came back she said would you like another drink? My reply was, what I would really like is a napkin and silverware to slice and eat this bread. Ugh. Luckily our table was ready by that time within 30 minutes. The service at the table improved and food was great.”

“My husband found this place thanks to Facebook knowing our love for food. Absolutely delicious food, super good vibes in the space, and staff are sweet and kind. We had the mango chicken rice, cucmber salad, 2 hand pies (beef curry), botanical water, the Goodoo tropical milkshake, and the cowgirl cookie (cookie to go). Everything was amazing, full of flavor, and filled you up (physically and spiritually). We love small, local places like this and will definitely be back and recommend to others!”

“After a HORRIBLE experience at YeeHaw brewing we found Great Oak/Southern Craft. What a life saver! The staff was friendly and charming, all the ladies seemed to work hard and FAST. We got our food so quick, which was great after a cruddy experience. I wish I could remember our waitresses name but she had long light brunette hair in a ponytail and she couldn’t have been for efficient. Our water never ran out, the beers were great and the food EVEN BETTER! I think the manager stopped by too, and she was just as kind and helpful(: The portions were large, hot and tasty! Sauces weren’t half bad! Definitely suggest the wings (our waitress suggested the fire apple and she was right on the money) and my husband loved his half chicken. “This was one of our two “go to” restaurants when I visit Johnson City and have lunch with my mother weekly.
We started going to the other restaurant much more frequently, however, because this restaurant always feels dark inside. And with spring and summer coming up, it would be nice to have a little better lighting! I imagine it would be totally fine for dinner, but for lunch, sometimes it’s so dark inside that it feels a little odd in the middle of the day.
That said, the food is solid. I enjoy the fact they have sushi and other items for me, while still having standard fried-rice-type dishes with the creamy sauce for my mother.”

“We ordered the 32 bone-in wings with the 4 different flavors. The wings were so grossly over cooked and the flavors were so indistinguishable from each other that we ended up throwing them away!!! These were without a doubt the worst wings we have ever had!!! Totally unpalatable!!! The curly fries that were boxed with them were so soggy and oil laden along with being so overly seasoned...., for a company that says JUST WINGS, I can`t imagine that they could surprise anyone with greatness!! This experience was just plain awful! Hope the next customer has a better experience than what we had! Won`t be back!!!”

“Wonderful experience!! I placed an online order via Grubhub and then called the store to check on it. A male manager by the name of Nick was very friendly & happy to help. I live in Vegas and my Uncle lives in TN, about 15 miles away from Outback. Today was his birthday so I sent him a Grubhub surprise! All food arrived fresh & still hot! He said the steaks were juicy, cooked to perfection and everything was wonderful! Nick even through in a piece of cake for the birthday which was a big surprise! Really went above& beyond! Great job! “This is my FAVORITE local restaurant. The food is delicious and fresh. The owners (Shengul and Bulant) and staff (especially Cheyenne and Serena) are friendly and I always walk away smiling! I highly recommend Red Meze to anyone looking for a delicious meal! Updating to add to this review: I order from this place at least once a week! The food is healthy, it is delicious, it is healing, it is made with love for their patrons, and I absolutely love them, too. I've learned that they are adding a Tapas menu! I am so delighted by this, and will likely have to start ordering more than once a week now. Please, do yourself a favor and go visit Red Meze Downtown.”

“Great! I had pork BBQ tray, collard greens and BBQ beans. Everything was excellent. I tried just a little of the vinegar bbq sauce base because not usually my favorite but it was very good. I used the traditional sweet southern style sauce and it was my favorite. My husband had a brisket burger and loved it! Also the smoked Mac and cheese and cornbread pudding (think that is what they called it) very very good as well. We enjoyed banana pudding for dessert! We highly recommend!!”

“I've been wanting to try Fuji for a long time and tonight I went there for my birthday and I was impressed by the courteous and polite staff which was a good sign. I had seen the menu as had my girlfriend so we both knew what we wanted so we gave the waitperson, I don't know his name but he did the little bow with folded hands after taking our order which came very quickly I might add. I had a drink called Magic Peach which was very tasty and very strong, the Spring Roll which were good sized crunchy and delicious, the Veggie Gyozyas which were fried to perfection and yummy and lastly the Avocado Roll from the Classic Menu also as good as any I've had. So all in all it was great way to spend my birthday eve, I give Fuji 5 stars! I look forward to my next visit!”

“We were in this plaza and this restaurant caught our eye. We are so glad we went in for lunch. It was amazing. Steamed bagel sandwiches. Never had them before but they were so good. They have breakfast options that are available all day. I got the Reedy Reuben on an everything bagel. My husband got the Steamenstein on an Asiago bagel (corned beef, pastrami, Swiss & spicy mustard).
We then each got a Tiger Paw for dessert (plain cream cheese on a French toast bagel with cinammon sugar).
Everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. You order and pay at the counter and then they bring it out to your table. If you get a drink, you serve yourself at either the soda fountain, fresh coffee, or sweet or unsweetened iced tea.
We will definitely return often when in Johnson City.”

First of all you can't claim NY and be cheap on your toppings, sauce included. At $2.50 a topping | should be having toppings in every bite and this fell short. I wanted to like them because the crust what the right flavor and crispness, and the sauce when you had it on your bite was perfection. But this was like being a teenager getting teased by your bf or gf endlessly waiting for something to happen but never does. And you're left behind wanting more but with overwhelming disappointment at the same time. I know it sounds harsh but just claim it as what it is. Take the NY style off the door unless you want to be more consistent, add extra sauce to your pizza, and quit being cheap on the toppings and make that pie greasy with goodness and you'll have something.”

“The coffee is always pretty good but I don't like the atmosphere much. It's so loud with the music that gets overwhelming. But you're only in line a few minutes because they go pretty quick so I can deal with it. You can link your phone number and make points and get free drinks which is nice. But just like any other place where you get coffee if you pay with a card, it's always going to ask you the little question at the end and then the guilt trip tip solicitation. I always end up tipping even though I think tipping culture is way out of hand nowadays. I guess that kind of makes me seem like a jerk but I can think of a lot of jobs that should get a tip and don't like nurses policemen doctors correctional officers lol. Anyway the coffee's worth it.”

“On January 31st I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend of mine. Michael greeted us as soon as we walked in. He was also our waiter that night. He was very attentive and respectful. He made our first visit fun, exciting, and memorable. I enjoyed the food and service so much I even made another trip back for dinner the next night with another friend. The food is absolutely delicious. “We had never been here, but The Down Home was recommended to us a while back. Our party of five stopped in for the first half of an Alexis Wax concert/fundraiser for Erwin. The venue is quaint, but there are plenty of smaller booths and tables for four (we grabbed a spare chair to accommodate us), and a bar selling beer and wine, water is there for free. Food is also available, and everything is posted on their website. The sound was good, we all enjoyed our time, and we look forward to returning when we can stay longer. Definitely recommend The Down Home for live music in Johnson City.”

“I went to this restaurant today after realizing I had low blood sugar and nothing to try and get it up in the car with me. I was panicking a little, very clammy, nauseous and light headed which made me a little flustered. The lady taking my order was very patient with me, when I said my blood sugar was low she had someone bring me a drink and cookie right away and got my meal to me quickly with a little note as well. It was really sweet how caring the staff was. I’m extremely grateful for how they treated me.”

And the chicken soup is delicious, and that little bit of avocado in there makes it perfect, and there's also plenty to share with somebody if you wanted to! The Horchata and Mango drinks are amazing, definitely worth a try! I still need to try more things on the menu, but the Azada fries are so good, too. Chips and Guacamole, delicious! “We had lunch at this location today. The food is delicious but I have 2 comments. The penne with white clam sauce is more like Alfredo with clams in it. Delicious but not authentic. White clam sauce should just have olive oil, garlic, clams and clam juice. I cannot recommend the eggplant parmigiana at all. It was paper thin eggplant slices with a thick oily breadcrumb layer smothered in marinara and mozzarella cheese not parmesan. It was not appealing and I couldn’t eat it. But the garlic knots were the best I’ve ever had. Freshly baked and swimming in a very nice garlic butter. The salads were fresh and the calamari was perfect. So I recommend the place just not it’s authenticity and definitely not the eggplant dish!”

After I picked up a few things at the store, I ended up at Honeybaked Ham about ten minutes before they were open. As I was sitting, this guy came up to my car and asked if I would like to come on in. My first thought was ‘Look, buddy, I’m not going to Karen these people into opening early.’ But it turned out to be the owner, who was very cordial to me, and more importantly, was cordial to his staff. So I got my delicious ham, and I got home about ten minutes earlier than I would have. And when expecting 16 people for lunch when you’ve been at work all night, every minute counted.”

Since this happened I ordered 8 Strawberry Chipotle wings, and though they have no heat to me, they are amazingly tasty. I do wish though that you would bring back The Experience, because it was the best tasting hottest sauces you have. Luckily, I brought along my own ghost pepper powder to kick it up without sacrificing flavor.. I will be back.”
