Room is a bit noisy and some attention could be paid to noise abatement but the overall experience was wonderful. A defiant must try.”

Everything was so good. Thoroughly enjoyed the mimosas as well. Would recommend this place to anyone. Such a beautiful and comfortable restaurant. Great service.”
“Stopped by to sample the local whiskey and what a great experience. They have multiple offerings and not just whiskey. Gorgeous bar and excellent music! If you are looking for apparel or other retail items check out the Jonesborough location. The 90 proof Calhoun's is really smooth. Service was excellent. Cassidy was friendly and very helpful. High recommendations!”

“My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Sahib. He had the medium heat Chicken Tikka Masala and I had the mild Pineapple Chicken curry. We also shared Chur Chur Naan and finished with Gulab Jamun. Everything was delicious and perfectly spiced. Our waiter, Rocky, was so nice and helpful! He suggested things to try that we had never ordered before. We will definitely be back!”

“What a wonderful experience walking into Pike House Coffee. It's a vibe, from the customer service to the ambiance and decorations. We are driving through the city and needed a place to work at and get some coffee. I told my husband I wouldn't mind moving here just to come to this coffee shop. Truly a hidden gem. I am leaving a review in the hopes to return again the future.I had a white chocolate latte with 1/2 the sweetness and my husband had the nondairy vanilla latte. Both tasted spectacular 10/10. Thank you to our wonderful barista, he deserves to find a forgotten lottery ticket and retire on a hidden treasure island somewhere. ;)”
“We recently spent a few weeks in Thailand, with friends who had just come from Vietnam. We sought out “authentic, local” food for every meal. We ate in small towns, in small spaces - sometimes nothing more than the front room of someone’s house. And it was wonderful. But after coming back to the Southeast US we weren’t sure we’d be able to eat authentic Southeast Asian food again. But we found this place online, and it had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try, and drive an hour to check it out. SO WORTH IT! The staff were welcoming and kind, the food was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, and we will definitely be back. What an unexpected treasure in an unexpected location. Thank you!”
“I've been wanting to go here for a while and finally decided to make the trip up to Johnson City and try it out.I got the Beef Kebab, Beef and Lamb Gyro, Turkish Coffee, and the Baklava Cheesecake. Everything was incredibly delicious, and I was very genuinely impressed. I tried some the Red Pepper soup my mother got and it was *equally* incredible. I'll definitely be going back.One thing that really impressed me was that they're apparently rather non-compromising in offering authentic Turkish culinary. My Mother was curious about if you could get the Turkish Coffee with sugar or cream, which they said that would not be accurate to what the owners would like to serve. I admire this stance a lot, it shows a certain level of passion and confidence and belief in their product -- confidence which I believe is well earned.I simply cannot wait to go back and try more food!!”
“So hear me out…I have been wanting to try Calaveras for a while now. I went Thursday and they closed at 7:30 due to being sold out of everything (that should tell you something). So I said I’ll go Friday. Went Friday around 6:30 for the Esquite (Mexican street corn) and the Clasico (Three QuesaBirrias with an order of Consome-Birria Broth). They were sold out of both. My heart broke again. Learned the secret to calling ahead to order and finally got my hands on both today. I had to stop in the parking lot on the way out and try both. It was the most delicious Mexican cuisine I’ve had around here or in my life really! I was so busy eating I dipped my new dress sleeve in the broth without knowing because I was too busy eating. ? We tried a huge array of foods: Scallion pancakes, egg drop soup, custard buns, shrimp dumplings, Sesame tofu, beef with sezchuan spices, and even Thai teas to drink! Everything came out fresh and had amazing flavor.Marina was our server and she was very attentive and had a great personality. Everyone in our party said how delicious their meal was --cashew chicken, king pao, general tsos, and mine was the Pho Soup with beef. The broth in my pho was the best yet! If you don't like beef broth, then they perhaps prepare differently. To me, the broth was the best in this area, although i cannot tell you about authenticity. There was a plate of three sauces, with the traditional basil and the bean sprouts centered on the plate.We all boxed our leftovers to go. If you want a great lunch at a great price, don't forget this venue on Roan. The Days Inn is attached to the restaurant.”

Love this chain restaurant because it's pretty consistent on the quality of the food and service by all of the staff that work there. The go to order for the wife and I is the appetizer/starter of fried pickles with a side of their awesome ranch dressing. Our entree order was the smokehouse burger with fries that's big enough for us to split. Everything came out exactly as we ordered and left us knowing that we weren't going to be eating anything heavy that evening at home. Looking forward to our next visit at this restaurant already.”

We also got 2 of their desserts to go (haven’t eaten them yet but assuming they’re going to be great, too). Such a pleasant stop for our lunch. Wish we had this restaurant in our home town, too. Compared to McDonald's where I spent $16 on the same type of food, with a discount, and spent 20+ minutes in line the other day, it's a big difference.Kid-friendliness: Simplistic meals with a very generous and easily customized menu. While I don't personally have a kid, I bet it would be a winner with most families.”

My mom rates is as a 4. Now let’s get down to business, I thought the brown gravy was slightly pasty and the pancakes were missing something.The hash-browns were cooked with perfection and for sure if I go back I’ll just ask for them to make me a potato bowl. I had the gluten free rooster grill and it was the best sandwich I have ever had, even compared with sandwiches I had when I was not gluten free. Most gluten free bread ranges from kinda disgusting to tolerable but the bun here was amazing. It tastes like real bread and I had to check and make sure that I got the gluten free option. I will definitely eat here again and recommend it to all my gluten free friends.Dietary restrictions: There is a decent amount of gluten free options. You can also get most things dairy free if you take off the cheese. The staff are very accommodating and knowledgeable, so if you have other dietary restrictions you should definitely ask them.”

I wish I could remember our waitresses name but she had long light brunette hair in a ponytail and she couldn’t have been for efficient. We also shared Chur Chur Naan and finished with Gulab Jamun. Everything was delicious and perfectly spiced. Our waiter, Rocky, was so nice and helpful!
