“Water into Wine is a lovely bistro, with excellent live music, great service, and a wonderful ambience. Our server, Kimmie, was super nice and attentive! The wine was excellent, with a large selection of unique options. The food was also great. We got the meatballs (super yummy), the chicken tacos (also great), and two cheese boards which had great cheese, super yummy candies nuts, and fresh fruit. The best thing we ordered was the chocolate board, which had a delicious selection of white, dark, and milk chocolate. The white chocolate was Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavored and it was SOO GOOD. I would highly recommended coming here, it was fantastic!“
“We went to Van Edoms for happy hour and sat outside. Our server, Casey, was excellent. She was attentive and had a great personality. The owner came out to chat with us as well.As for the food, we had the most amazing stuffed mushrooms that were stuffed with goat cheese, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes. That was followed by an order of crispy calamari served with a wonderful garlic aïoli. Since it was happy hour, the 6 oz. wines were half off and the wine list was excellent. We'll be going back frequently.“
“LOVE this place. Sooooo many self pour options (not just beer!), events, outdoor seating, board games, etc. They give you a bracelet that you put up to the spot just below the label/screen (above the tap), and it will measure how much you pour, which will then calculate how much you owe - i.e. you won’t be overcharged, and it’s a fun aspect of it all. It’s in such a hip area of Knoxville; checking out this corner of downtown can’t be beat.“
“My Fiancée and I set out to celebrate our birthdays, we are not from this area so we browsed all around for a romantic dinner spot. We actually left Gatlinburg/Pigeonforge and came here.I couldn't of been more impressed. The atmosphere was so beautiful and intimate, tucked away in a booth with low lighting and it truly was an amazing experience. The staff, the food, the ambience it all felt as if it was catered to us and they truly made the evening such a remarkable one.The cuisine served was absolutely second to none, their kitchen was impeccable with their presentations and flavor profiles. I make no small statement by saying this was by far one of the best meals we have ever shared together.Highly reccomened!!!“
“The atmosphere is Cataleya Cantina is amazing! Our server was also very accommodating, and the food was great. My brunch burrito bowl was good, but the food my friends got was better.Parking: PlentyKid-friendliness: As a kid i found plenty of options.“
“this was a very fun and unexpected find, stumbled upon it, and glad we did. the decor is lively, the staff is charming and the food was delicious. really enjoyed the pesto gnocchi...the pesto was rich and a bit spicy, nice touch with the roasted pignoli. also tried the pear ginger cocktail and it was refreshing as advertised. thia is a fun place I'll seek out again if i drive through knoxville again one day.Vegetarian options: the kitchen was kind enough to make mine without meat, there were other options, but how can one resist gnocchi?“
“The atmosphere at this veteran-owned wine bar is nothing short of enchanting. The warm and welcoming ambiance, coupled with the genuine friendliness of the staff, creates an inviting space that immediately puts you at ease. It's not just a place to enjoy excellent wines; it's a haven where the welcoming environment and the staff's friendliness elevate the overall experience. A delightful fusion of charm and camaraderie makes this wine bar stand out. Highly recommended for those seeking a cozy and friendly atmosphere to savor quality wines.“
“Fine dining at its best. The food was perfection. The 20 ounce bone in rib eye was well seasoned, was cooked as ordered. It arrived at the table hot and delicious. Also had the grilled asparagus and lobster mashed potatoes, both were excellent and arrived at the table piping hot. For desert had the banana fosters bread pudding. A wonderful end to a fantastic meal.Be warned the place is pricey. A great place for a special occasion.“
“First-time customer, the staff was very friendly and personable, the food was cooked to my liking, the atmosphere pleasant as well. Will I will definitely be back. Thanks to my long-time friend Todd for buying my lunch. Next ones on me, brother.“
“Absolutely loved this place. Atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Staff was great. Food was DELICIOUS. Fish was perfectly flaky and fried to perfection and not greasy. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.Steak was cooked perfectly and had a great char on it and you can never go wrong with some mashed potatoes. Restaurant is located upstairs. I read some reviews stating it was difficult to find, but didn’t seem to hard if you knew how to read. We will absolutely be back. Saved in our favorites.“
“The Central Ave location has a beautiful, inviting interior, comfortable seating, and we loved that the tables came from local Smoky Mountain Vintage Lumber! Michelle made us feel welcome right away, provided top service, and guided us through our first visit with solid suggestions. We started with Oysters Rockefeller and an incredibly rich Irish potato soup, then moved on to the duck and scallops for our entres. All were flavorful and beautifully presented. We shared an espresso cheesecake for dessert and enjoyed every bite.“
“I was searching for an Asian restaurant and found this fusion restaurant. I wasn't too hungry, so I only ordered a mushroom soup and vegetable tempura. Both are excellent!! I also ordered a Groundbreaking cocktail; although they forgot about this order, they immediately made it up for another expresso martini on-house! The service was attentive, though they seemed busy. Overall, this is a great place, and I'd be happy to be back!“
“We went for one of those financial info dinners where we were starved for over an hour before our food was served (not the restaurants fault). My steak was VERY tender and yummy except for one streak of tough gristle that ran through it (I would have taken issue with that if I'd actually paid for that meal!). Overall the food experience was wonderful. We will consider going back for a regular dinner in the future.Parking: The handicap parking was limited and some spots were strung out a ways from the entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: You have to pay attention from the parking lot to go around to the ramp entry if that is needed. There is an elevator available if you need to go downstairs.“
“I don't know what took us so long to get to this restaurant. However, the wait was totally worth it! I have to say it's probably one of the best meals I've ever had in my entire life, and I know good food! We ordered half of the menu. OK that might be an exaggeration. However, we ordered raw oysters, the oysters Rockefeller, tuna tartar, crabcake, carpaccio, prime rib, fillet, and the New York strip. Every bite, every morsel of food that I put in my mouth was not just good. It was exceptional. Our waitress was awesome and took incredible care of us. We had an amazing experience, and I cannot wait to go back.“
“We went to the bar to wait for our reservation time. We asked the women bartender if it was happy hour and she replied it was. So we ordered drinks. When our table was ready, we paid our tab, and we were charged regular price for our drinks. We brought it to her attention that she charged us regular price for our drinks. She replied that our order was not on the happy hour menu. We'll it would of been nice if she brought it to or attention when we inquired about happy hour. She was also not very friendly. This will be the last time visiting the bar at Connors. I think we will stick to the Chop House over Connors.“
