“Maybe I was there on a good day but this is the 4th local Chinese place I've tried in the Memphis area and this has been the best one so far. The general Tso's chicken was good the crab Rangoon was ok. But bang for you buck I will be going back to try something else next time I'm in Lake land“
“The person who took my order was amazing. Initially I ordered online for pickup, but realized I ordered incorrect items. So I called and she was SO patient with me as I explained my many mistakes. Because I ordered online the fix was not easy. But she took care of me. If you've never tried this Wangs, give yourself a treat. I like the crab rangoon, lo mein and wonton soup.“
“What an absolute gem. I have never written a Google review before but didn't hesitate to jump on here while the satisfying delicious burn of the spicy crispy chicken is still sizzling on my taste buds. The chicken, nailed it, the cumin beef, nailed it, the spicy dumplings, nailed it, even the wood ear mushrooms, you guessed it, nailed it. And the icing on top was the big thumbs up from my five year old who loved the Zaijang noodles and fried rice. We will be back next week, if we can wait that long.“
“Best Chinese food ever in existence. Sometimes I ask for spicy wanton soup and they say yes but forget to make it spicy, but aside from that I can't complain. It's really the best quality Chinese food I have ever had. I've been eating there since childhood.“
“Hands down best Chinese food in Memphis. The food was hot and fresh , flavorful I could taste every different thing . The crab Rangoon was filled all the way, soup amazing . The service was amazing aswell very nice and timely and they let me and my family get the lunch special even after the time was over I wish this restaurant would have more customers as it’s usually empty every time I go“
“Delicious Chinese food, great variety and above all there is more opportunity for those who are not fans of spicy food.I bought the house's special rice, happy family, fried dumplings stuffed with crab and spring roll, and they also serve you a portion of extra white rice.Recommended, the rice was delicious, the sautéed vegetables and happy family protein looked good but the flavor was weak. However, it is an excellent choice.“
“Be prepared to enter into a Small Chinese Restaurant with limited seating; 2 tables with seating for 4.They have wonderful customer service, are very kind and friendly, and make sure to make us feel very welcomed to the community.Absolutely loved the decor on their walls, too!“
“The place itself is not much to look at, but the food is great and the people are friendly and efficient. It’s primarily a place for takeout. The portions are very generous especially if you order the larger size entrees. I got almost twice the amount for just a few dollars more. Apparently the place has a new owner or manager and from the earlier reviews I’ve read, they’ve really turned things around.“
“I love the food here, the atmosphere is nice, relaxing, not to busy. Me and my partner loved it, we tried the spicy drunken noodles & the yum yum shrimp which were reallyy good and filling! The servings are a good size for two as well and the service was amazing. Thank you!!“
“I just moved to the area last year I have been trying to find a good takeout spot for Chinese. I decided to try this one after trying 3 others ones that were not that great. I’m so glad I did the food was fresh and hot, and was exactly what I’ve been looking for . I definitely will continue to use them for my Chinese take out.“
“Food was delicious, I stopped by near closing time and they had my order ready in less than 10 mins. Food was flavorful and my rice was the perfect texture I don’t mind driving from my side of town to eat here. My new favorite spot for Chinese food.“
“Placed an online order and considering how busy they were (one of few places open on Christmas day), I didn't have to wait very long for my food to be ready. The staff was pleasant and efficient even though there was a lot going on. All of my food was still hot and fresh by the time I made it back home and it's all delicious. My only complaint is that they forgot my egg roll.“
“Golden City’s chicken with stringed beans is delicious! The chicken is tender. I loved the sauce as well. I commend Golden City for the ratio of meat to veggies. There’s not many places in this city where you are served healthily portioned plates.“
“I was invited to a luncheon and I was so glad I accepted the invitation. The buffet had some great selection everything was fresh they even had a sushi bar. I will be going back again. P S. The food stations where always clean and welcoming.“
“The restaurant is under new management who is in the process of getting their alcohol and liquor licenses, so there were no drinks. The food was awesome. We hope the new owners remodel the inside and get rid of that awful boat in the middle of the room.“
“Panda China has essentially kept my family alive since July. We've been adjusting to not being able to run and get lunch as easily since we're working from home and not our usual places, and Panda is the go-to place for when we don't properly plan to have lunch prepared (which happens decently often). We're at the point where I wake up at 7am already knowing that I want the honey chicken lunch special and will just text the family that I'm gonna pick it up. Not to mention it certainly checks my usual boxes -- they're very filling and very well priced Would definitely recommend!! And make sure that you call ahead -- they have only a small lobby space not blocked off due to Covid, so if you don't call ahead you'll have to wait in the cold for your food (usually ~10-15 min)“
“This restaurant is in the food court of Wolfchase Mall. The food is great and tasty. The employees were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The portion sizes are great. They give you enough for two meals. The bourbon chicken and Mongolian chicken were tasty, and the string beans were cooked to perfection.Parking: Mall parking lot. The lot near the food court stays full. May have to park far off.Wheelchair accessibility: They have about 12 handicap parking spaces wheelchair entrances, and elevators to get to the food court“
“We dined at Wang’s this evening for my husband’s 65th birthday. We chose the restaurant because they serve Peking Duck. It was above and beyond our expectations! The duck was prepared perfectly and the service was unsurpassed! Thank you for such a fabulous experience!!“
“Been going to this place for over 25 years (probably changed hands a couple of times) and it's pretty good. Portions have shrunk, while the prices have grown, which might be a trend nowadays. General Tso's chicken is very good. The lo mein is oily, but then I've never had lot mein that wasn't. If you get fried rice, get it with vegetables or it will be to dry. Don't expect any fortune cookies, they don't give any with your order. It's too bad, the kids enjoyed the fortune more than a cookie.“
